04/04/2024: Very helpful people. Despite the fixed menu, they have taken the needs of those who don't eat meat to heart, offering delicious alternatives. Excellent food, fresh products, and fast service. At no time did we have the need to call a waiter. Ready to replace cutlery and collect empty plates. Really good. A surprise.....usually on Easter Monday you find yourself in intricate situations where in the end you resign yourself to the inefficiencies.

17/03/2024: We came across this restaurant by chance. We went in to ask if there was a table for two as we hadn't booked. The waiters were kind, they informed us that there was a table for two and they explained the formula of the fixed, abundant menu, from appetizer to dessert. I only asked (only once and politely) if there was the possibility of an à la carte menu, since we had just finished an aperitif and therefore didn't have the appetite for an entire menu. The owner arrives (or the head nurse, I'm not sure he was an older person) in a very rude manner, gesticulating with a stern and dry "NO". Annoyed for no reason, given that I had only asked for information, he tells us verbatim words: "no no, go to town, there are bars that make excellent aperitifs". Shocked, we left. We could have returned to try it on another occasion, given that the fixed menu formula interested us, but clearly we will never go back again. They literally chased us away with truly rude and totally unmotivated ways. Simply saying "no, we're sorry, we don't have the à la carte menu option this Sunday" was obviously too difficult. (I gave three stars for the service because the waiters attempted to be polite before the boss intervened)

20/02/2024: allora siamo stati la prima volta nel periodo natalizio per visitare anche il Castello dell'Ettore, addobbato con luci spettacoli e mercatini. Poi siamo andati in febbraio in una bella domenica di sole, confusione ZERO, Giovanni & famiglia sono socievoli e simpatici, le cibarie sono buone il prezzo onesto. Per il dopo pranzo, si può girare un pò (ci sono anche ragazzi che gratuitamente si offrono come guide) nel paese abbandonato oppure, girare nei pressi con tanto verde intorno .....

10/12/2023: 5 stelle sono poche, veramente un pranzo domenicale indimenticabile... Tutto ottimo. Abbiamo preso primi e secondi di terra... Ho ancora adesso l'acquolina in bocca, ripensando a tutte quelle pietanze. Personale cortese e attento... Situato in un punto strategico, vicinissimo al castello dell'Ettore. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare e soprattutto di provarlo.

21/02/2024: I'm so happy we found this Osteria. The service was amazing and the food was good. The lady helping us was so kind, bringing our american mouths more bread, as much as we could eat. Seems like this place has been here a long time. I think everyone enjoyed their meals. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.

Excellent flavors, excellent staff and a wonderful garden that entertains you between one dish and another. Very competitive price especially for the quality of the products ♥️

07/01/2024: I stopped by chance on January 6, 2024 on the way back and although we had arrived with my partner in the late afternoon, we were welcomed for lunch with kindness and friendliness by the owner. We had a starter which was very rich and abundant with cured meats and local capocollo, ricotta, a mix of omelettes and we really appreciated the pan cotto with beans. While first we took the scialatielli with pumpkin and mushrooms. And as a second course, the Valdostaina pork with baked potatoes 😋 All accompanied by a good local Aglianico and Barbera. At the end of lunch, a roll of cream and Nutella for dessert. And a limoncello. Everything is excellent and the staff is available. We will certainly return to your farm for a next outing. 30/01/2024: We had read some good reviews, not realizing that they were from a few years ago. Maybe they will have changed chef but saving the affections the rest not to be commented on. The service was good, the place is very nice. Too bad about the food.
