29/12/2023: I was very happy to reach the hotel after a long journey from New York, as my grandmother, Maria Licciardi, was born in Apice. Her fathers name was Giovanni Licciardi, a name associated with Hotel Licciardi. The gentleman who occupied the Managers office greeted me in a cold and unwelcoming manner, suggesting that I visit the Municipal building. I am a business owner of an Italian Travel Company in New York, and I am an Italian citizen. From my short and abrupt visit, I could observe that the hotel had lovely grounds and seemed well maintained. It might be helpful if the management treated each visiting guest with respect, as you never know who will enter your hotel.

21/02/2024: I'm so happy we found this Osteria. The service was amazing and the food was good. The lady helping us was so kind, bringing our american mouths more bread, as much as we could eat. Seems like this place has been here a long time. I think everyone enjoyed their meals. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.

08/01/2024: Io e mia figlia ci siamo trovate all'osteria per caso, casualità gradevolissima! La piccola stanza che ospita i clienti è accogliente, calda, colorata. È a conduzione familiare, composta da personale amabile. I piatti poi: buonissimi, dai sapori genuini preparati con passione e l'amore per le tradizioni culinarie di un tempo. Ottimi i ziti alla genovese. Insomma: gradevolezza al palato e all'umore

09/03/2024: Never again, after a fool with the guests of a baptism. Dealt with one thing and received nothing without proper service. It was better when it was in the center of Apice, now it thinks it is among the best but perhaps it is the best of the worst.

08/03/2024: I had an amazing experience. The food is delicious and the courtesy of the staff is exceptional. I highly recommend trying their fish fry, it's simply divine! 5 stars without a doubt.

03/01/2024: Given the response of the structure, I am adding this review despite myself. I attended an event at the beginning of August, the expectations were more than high but, once the service began, things did not turn out as expected. Poor service, slow, little attention to guests, some dishes very good but others inedible and as the sun went down we dined in the dark. The dessert (served at 2 am) was of poor quality and we proceeded to cut it ourselves and serve it to the other guests.

03/09/2023: Siamo andati io mia moglie e le mie figlie per pranzo arrivati non c'era nessuno... dovevamo capirlo. Comunque abbiamo preso due menù adulti e uno bambino perché la più piccola non mangia nulla. Menù bambini pasta con sugo bottiglia 1 hamburger del discount con patatine idem. Menù adulti 1 fetta di salamino dolce una fetta di salamino piccante( sottolineo salamino perché si intende la fettina di salsiccia secca), mezza fetta di prosciutto crudo e una fetta di pane bruschettato. 2 coppe di pastella fritta immangiabile per l'odore di olio vecchio idem le patatine. Primo piatto pasta al pomodoro come al menu baby ed al secondo si sono superati 2 pezzi di carne di maiale grandi come mezzo pollice e patatine a contorno... follia tutto immangiabile. Ma non vi vergognate di truffare la gente che va da quelle parti in pellegrinaggio a Pietralcina. Conto 90 euro. Quando me lo hanno portato ho detto che probabilmente erano fuori di testa la signora che cucinava ha risposto che a lei quello lì dicevano di dover fare e quello facevano...dopo una discussione telefonica con la proprietaria ho dovuto sborsare 75 euro per il pranzo ad oggi peggiore della mia vita,(e vi assicuro che ho fatto anche le gite scolastiche alle superiori)😀🤦. Spero che questa mia recensione possa salvare qualche povero sprovveduto come noi. C'è tanta brava gente che investe tempo e fatica in questo lavoro questa gente andrebbe fatta chiudere.
