From the first moment, we were greeted with rare kindness: the owners immediately made us feel at home, with that simplicity and warmth that make all the difference. We had thought about having an appetizer and a steak, but one of the owners recommended we try only their Marchigiana, raised in San Giorgio del Sannio. And thank goodness we trusted him... it's truly poetic! 🥩Tender, tasty, cooked to perfection: a flavor that speaks volumes about the quality of the ingredients and the passion of those who prepare them. But the surprise doesn't end there: a splendid cellar holds precious wines, a little corner of paradise for those who love good wine. We accompanied our lunch with an excellent glass of wine 🍷, enjoying every moment. And then a little detail that we really appreciated: no Wi-Fi. 01/06/2026: Group tour in the footsteps of Padre Pio ❤️ While we were on the tour in the footsteps of Padre Pio, as the organizer, I ordered lunch for all the guests at the Ristorante Il Sannio in Pietralcina! I must say we ate really well. Friendly staff And fair prices. I was satisfied and will gladly return. ❤️😘☀️

31/05/2026: I was there two weeks ago, a convenient restaurant thanks to its strategic location, casual dishes and courses for tourists, affordable prices, all in all a good stop before visiting Pietralcina.

14/06/2026: The pizza is excellent, soft and easy to digest. The prices aren't excessive, and the staff is top-notch. As for the place, I liked the retro feel; it felt like it was in another era. It's not huge, but the tables are well-spaced, so you don't feel crowded together. Alternatively, there's seating on the veranda. They have a good selection of pizzas and beers. I gave it 4 stars because I was a little disappointed with the payment. I have no complaints about the prices, as they're honest. My disappointment is with the payment method. Basically, they don't accept split payments, but a lump sum. We usually have several couples, and we pay the bill by splitting the bill between each couple. Then, like in many other places, we pay in cash or by debit card. Unfortunately, this isn't allowed here, and that's not a good thing in my opinion.

25/04/2026: A small, intimate restaurant just steps from Padre Pio's birthplace. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. I personally opted for the staff's recommendation: perfectly cooked pasta, tasty meat, and generous portions. I highly recommend the grilled steak, it was delicious. The price was more than fair. See you next time!
