01/12/2025: There are four of us and we sit at a table set, as is often the case, with simple plastic placemats; we receive a single menu consisting of 3 or 4 crumpled and simply stapled A3 sheets. We can't figure out where the list of dishes is, then we realize they're on the first page, in 7-8 lines, all together, without spaces, with no distinction between appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes... I've never seen a more hastily put together and disorganized menu than this one. This leaves us very perplexed and, unfortunately, doesn't bode well; as they say: a good start to the day begins... and so it was throughout lunch! We are brought the usual filtered water, in an unlikely bottle. We order first courses: cicatelli with broccoli and mezze maniche with mixed fish, cuttlefish, and shrimp. The cicatelli are in broth, while the mezze maniche have been spotted with a telescope. When we complain, we are told that it was a "seafood ragù." The best, however, came with the main courses: a boneless shank, paradoxically reduced to a small piece of boiled, tasteless meat, and a boiled, tasteless, and smelly veal shoulder, accompanied by a salty sauce and two small, bland, flavorless side dishes. It's best to draw a veil over the desserts... Change your profession, this isn't for you!

30/11/2025: I first encountered Boda de Ciondro about 10 years ago, when I had the opportunity to appreciate their catering for two weddings. I was looking for a venue for my 40th birthday; I wanted a welcoming, refined yet bucolic atmosphere, and above all, one that offered unconventional cuisine, different from traditional restaurants or farmhouses. A few months ago, I happened to read an article about the restaurant, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, and it was a revelation. I contacted them, and after exchanging a few emails, we organized a Sunday lunch for 14 people. I trusted them and trusted them; ten years is a long time, and my memory of it could have been different from the current reality... Instead, it did not disappoint. I couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was perfect. Even though I didn't opt ​​for the "event" option, I still showed all the consideration due to those celebrating a special day. My guests appreciated and enjoyed all the dishes offered, which, as I hoped, reflected the soul of the restaurant: refined but without forgetting tradition.

24/02/2026: Typical rustic family-run trattoria. Fixed menu for €15.00 including 1/2 liter of mineral water, 1/2 liter of wine, first course, second course, and side dish.

23/10/2025: I stopped for a quick business lunch: the place was ready, the service was fast, and the portions were generous. I ate tagliatelle with meat sauce and a mixed salad that I couldn't finish. Reasonable working-class prices.

11/01/2026: On the way from Telese Terme to Naples, we stopped at this restaurant. We had a delicious mixed meat platter for two, all cooked just right. The desserts also looked delicious, but we were full. The place smelled wonderful, like delicious food. The staff was very friendly!

29/06/2025: Totally disorganized: we ordered fries (since they told us they had to bake 24 pizzas before us) which arrived after 3/4 of an hour only because they were prompted by the fact that I was waiting to eat to take my medicine. They brought us only 1 packet of mayonnaise and one of ketchup, and the fries were almost cold... After another half hour we asked the owner how long we had to wait without receiving any answer and at this point we decided to leave... The place wasn't at all full, I didn't even see half of the 24 pizzas go by, so we went to the cashier where we found the owner, we asked to pay the bill and they had the nerve to charge us for the cover charge too, without even apologizing! In the meantime, there was a cooked pizza on the plate and the oven empty and no one to prepare the pizzas... Moreover, when we entered there were people waiting, but if you can't cover half your seats, why do you also accept takeout?

15/06/2025: Good evening, we were there this Sunday, June 15th for lunch...the food was terrible, everything was terrible, and it was incredibly hot because there were 3 air conditioners in that room from 15/18, they were obsolete and not suitable for that environment...anyway, everything was disgusting...

08/03/2026: Disappointing experience, the owner was arrogant and rude. After having seated me at a table for six people, he made me get up because the other five people were not yet present. This place is to be avoided.

09/12/2025: We ate there by chance, which was disappointing, because the food wasn't great. The place was very dirty and everything was neglected. It was dusty, and the oil cruet was brought to the table, smelling rancid. The previously refilled wine bottles were very, very dirty, and everything was a bit disheveled. The cook, who could be seen every now and then taking things from the freezer, strangely located in the dining room but not the kitchen, was wearing a dangling, shabby scarf that didn't give you the feeling of cleanliness at all. The fact is, I had a stomachache for two days after trying the food there. I would advise business owners to take a critical look at their place and give it a good clean, replacing the disposable tablecloths and coffee machine covers, even though they were full of holes and had been used a thousand times. It's shameful that no one checks these places.

25/08/2025: A beautiful place surrounded by greenery on a huge estate. Delicious, authentic food. Generous portions and excellent prices. The hostess was very kind, highly recommended!

15/01/2026: A welcoming, warm place with dishes reminiscent of our grandparents' spectacular cooking. Giulio, a delightful host, is at the helm, knowing how to delight his customers with flavors from days gone by. A 10 out of 10.

23/12/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere! I can honestly say I felt at home thanks to Mr. Giulio's hospitality, which delighted us immensely. I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: I'll be honest, we only had two coffees and two "streghe" (a typical local liqueur). The coffees were good, and the streghe were average. The place is clean, tidy, and modern. The strong point is the owner, a kind and helpful lady. The 5 stars are based on trust, but the food, from the look of it, looked appetizing. Just a little tip: better ventilation would be helpful because of the fried food. If I get a chance, I'll try that too.

25/02/2026: The worst trip of my life so far. Very rude staff, as were some of the people bringing lunch and dinner. They stand behind the doors even at night. They open the doors with a duplicate key whenever they want. The rooms are extremely dirty. The cutlery and glasses are extremely dirty. I would not recommend them at all.

25/02/2026: Horrible hotel, dirty, full of stains in the bathroom and on the sheets, dirty cutlery, dusty glasses, rude staff, no privacy, they stand behind the room doors, unhygienic. The food was raw, the owner and employees were extremely rude, only one employee was polite and kind, who apologized for his colleague's behavior with customers. I strongly advise against it. I went on a school trip, and I never would have gone if I had known this. Unfortunately, I'm also forced to give it one star.
