07/12/2023: Una esperienza fantastica… attenzione a tutti i particolari per una serata da ricordare con prodotti del Sannio Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto con melanzane caramellate cavolo rosso , confetti di bietola, cannolo con zucchine alla scapece e polenta con funghi, poi due antipasti : sfoglia di patate con renette e maionese di soia e poi pane croccante con ricotta guarnito con gaspacho divino. Continuiamo con ravioli alle erbe mantecati al burro di Normandia eccezionali , e poi agnello accompagnato con mousse di carote, cipolle caramellate e mousse di sedano e come dolce semifreddo all’ albicocca e a finire caffè … in tutto questo pane servito caldo e croccante …. Una esperienza spettacolare
02/09/2023: The food and staff here are exceptional and meet what one would expect of a Michelin star experience. They are also friendly and helpful. I needed gluten-free/celiac. All dishes were modified and rebalanced to be GF or a replacement was substituted. In the case of the beef Tartar substitution, I’d happily eat this anytime. If you are not GF, the house-made bread is wonderful, especially with the olive oil grown on property. (You can walk through the olive trees.) if you are GF, you will still get nice, hot, crispy rolls that are soft inside to enjoy with your own olive oil. The first night we had the “Petra” menu of items from the land. When we discussed the wine pairing, the sommelier, Daniele, realized our interest in experiencing wines from Campania and paired accordingly. Our waitress, Fatima, kept an eye on us all night. Glasses stayed full and plates appeared and disappeared in a smooth ballet of presentation and enjoyment. We were impressed enough to return the next night for the “Aqua” menu of items from the sea. It was similarly excellent, and our waiter, Richard, ensured the same competent service we had enjoyed the previous night. The front of the house is overseen by Gabriele who seems to be everywhere at once. He always knew when to check in on a table, check presentation, discuss wines, or just provide a kind word. We saw him work in tandem with Chef Luciano Villani to ensure the kitchen’s products were executed in presentation exactly how the Chef envisioned. Photos follow the courses in the menu photos. These were great evenings with a great staff in a fabulous location. We will happily return.
