Very friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, although the acoustics aren't always the best. Order processing could be a bit faster...but it remains one of the best places to get an excellent sandwich in Benevento, right next to the splendid ruins of the Roman amphitheater.

18/04/2026: I think it's practically impossible to write a negative review about this place. I've been coming here about every three or four months now and have never encountered anything less than impeccable service. Starting with the owner, who is incredibly kind and polite, the place is small, very quiet, and exudes a truly serene atmosphere. ALL the food is excellent and locally sourced. The pasta is made fresh that morning and all the dishes are cooked to order. The antipasto is exceptional; I probably ate the best salami I've ever eaten. The value for money is excellent, in fact, at times even too low for the experience. (The non-alcoholic entrée is a little gem, original and well-crafted.)

We had the pleasure of meeting and being served by Antonio, a thoughtful man who offers excellent advice on the dishes...a truly lovely place. Highly recommended.

The meat is good and well-cooked, undoubtedly the restaurant's true highlight. The tartares are all excellent, with a balanced and pleasant flavor, while the pulled pork meatballs are juicy and flavorful. The side dishes could use a little more attention to detail to fully match the quality of the meat. The house wine was slightly acidic, an aspect that could be improved. The homemade desserts are truly delicious and carefully prepared, rounding out the meal on a satisfying note. Overall, a place we'll happily return to, with a few small details that could be improved.
