We booked by chance, today, passing through Benevento, a table for 4, because it was one of the restaurants with gluten-free dishes on the menu. We couldn't have made a better choice: we ate very well, the owner served us impeccably and with great kindness and the quality-price ratio was honest! Thank you so much!

Exceptional Customer Service, we decided to walk instead of driving as our AirB&B was a few blocks away. Once we arrived across the street, there was a traffic detour. The owner saw our delema and helped us cross the street to the restaurant. We arrived just in time for our reservation. We received the best table with our refreshments delivered promptly. The menu was in English, and the owner spoke English as well, explaining and reccomendjng the perfect choices. We enjoyed everything from fresh baked bread to delicious salad and remarkable homemade pasta. The sauce gave me tears of joy. Hats off and cheers to the chef. Thank you for a world-class experience.

Excellent restaurant for those who give importance to good food rather than the appearance of the place, certainly a slightly "vintage" environment but all dishes of excellent quality and prepared with skill. There were three of us, weekend in Benevento, the first evening we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, choosing it for its proximity to the rented house, and trusting the reviews of other users, the second evening we deliberately returned. On the two evenings we ate from the starter, with a platter of excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, to the dessert prepared by them, and there was nothing that wasn't excellent. The gentleman who serves in the room is kind, friendly, very professional, and also extremely flexible (we wanted to taste the braised meat, but we were full and he did not hesitate to satisfy our request of 1 second course divided by three people, having it plated by the kitchen already in 3 dishes). Prices absolutely in line with the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Siamo di Roma, io e mio marito qui a Benevento per un weekend romantico in Campania, regione che amiamo. Siamo capitati al "Posto" per caso. Perfetto per chi vuole mangiare bene come una volta. Il locale ha una saletta appartata, molto discreta, arredata in modo semplice, con mobilio della tradizione, non un granello di polvere. Cibo cucinato con maestria (infatti lavorano da oltre 50 anni), ingredienti km 0, pomodorini fantastici davvero forniti da un contadino, primi di pasta fatti in casa (fettuccine ai carciofi top!) Ringraziamo per la cortese ospitalità e l'ottimo pranzo.

The food is phenomenal. We had the gnocchi and fettuccine, some of the best pasta I’ve eaten so far in Italy, all house made and the service was wonderful. We had a selection of deserts as well which were just as delicious. Highly recommend!

Titolare gentilissimo e molto simpatico, buona qualità del cibo (antipasto sannita top, buoni i primi e il brasato). Perfetto per un pranzo veloce durante le feste.

Sono stato recentemente a “Il Posto” e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Il cibo era ottimo, con piatti ben preparati e ingredienti freschi che hanno saputo valorizzare ogni sapore. Le porzioni erano giuste e il menù offriva una buona varietà, riuscendo ad accontentare tutti i gusti. Un punto di forza è sicuramente il servizio. I camerieri sono stati gentilissimi e attenti a ogni esigenza. Un gesto che ho particolarmente apprezzato è stato il fatto che si siano subito preoccupati di portare una ciotola d’acqua per il nostro cane, un’attenzione che non è affatto scontata e che dimostra grande sensibilità e ospitalità. L’atmosfera è accogliente e rilassata, perfetta sia per una cena in famiglia che per un pranzo con amici. Torneremo sicuramente!
