Wonderful people, a family-themed staff, kindness, friendliness, and exceptional availability! It has an outdoor pool and both indoor and outdoor seating. Great for parties.

17/05/2026: Iago, a Golden Retriever who kept us company during our hearty breakfast, also deserves five stars. Spacious and welcoming rooms, with all the necessary comforts. They're spotlessly clean, but the highlight of this beautiful property is the professionalism and kindness with which Susanna welcomed us and hosted us for our weekend. We'll definitely be back.

10/04/2026: Excellent sandwiches at a reasonable price. Ideal for young people, couples, and families. I always go on Saturdays, so reservations are recommended. Seating is limited, but it's comfortable, even if it's a bit cramped at times. The staff is young, friendly, and always ready to help. Excellent bread selection. Good selection of beers. Ample outdoor parking. I would improve the restrooms and seating. I highly recommend it.

16/03/2026: I visited Pietro Crescenzo's Trattoria in Melito Irpino and I must say it was a wonderful, very authentic experience. Here, you can truly experience the atmosphere of a true trattoria, with home-cooked food and traditional Irpinia flavors. We had an appetizer for two and a minestra maritata, simple dishes but truly well-made, with ingredients that taste of home and the local area. The house wine, without a label, paired perfectly with the food. The total bill was €75; probably the only downside is that there's no menu with prices, so it's a bit of a guessing game. That said, for those looking for traditional, authentic, and unfussy cuisine, it's definitely a place worth trying.

The food is excellent, and the portions are just right, verging on generous. A wide selection of wines is available. The price is in line with the quality, verging on the high side; I wouldn't recommend going any further. In conclusion, a well-deserved 5 stars.

05/03/2026: Terrible experience. I'm sorry to have to give this place a bad review because I had high expectations: I'd been there before for a birthday party and found it perhaps the best in the area, so much so that I promised myself I'd return as soon as possible (it's quite far from where I live). First of all, the staff was decidedly rude and uncouth: they were constantly snorting, and the disgusted facial expressions exchanged between colleagues didn't go unnoticed. They would take bottles from the table unfinished, and without even asking permission, they would yell at the kitchen while the customers were still inside. I've never seen such poor service. And yet, it was a Wednesday night; I can't even imagine they were stressed out by the crowd, because the place was empty except for a table of about six people in addition to ours. But, regardless, if they didn't feel like working, they could have easily rejected my reservation. The appetizer was fine, but the cuts of meat were a mess: they tasted good, but we had to throw away practically half of the portion due to the presence of sinew. Furthermore, if you request a certain type of cooking, you have to respect the customer's wishes since they're paying: everything was medium rare, almost rare, even though everyone had requested their preferred cooking. After dinner, dessert, coffee, and liqueur were ordered, the waiters, to make sure they didn't miss out on anything, literally shoved us out the door (it was 11:20 PM, not 1 AM), always with their annoyed manner or, for example, by removing the tablecloth from the table while people were still seated. I think catering isn't for you.

30/03/2026: I went to the Osteria del Gallo e del Volpe on Saturday evening. Although I'm from the province of Avellino, I learned about this place thanks to the Michelin guide. For two, we ordered: an Easter appetizer, soup with Taranto beans and pork belly in teriyaki sauce, laticauda lamb, smoked duck, mille-feuille with Chantilly and dark chocolate, a glass of water, and a glass of Taurasi. Total: €101. Excellent value. Elegant location, exquisite and well-presented food, and a generous glass of Taurasi. Friendly service, always attentive and never intrusive. Negative notes I didn't like the vegetables served with the smoked duck. (The duck was excellent!) The laticauda lamb was delicious, but one of the chops was a bit overcooked and therefore a bit stringy. The service was a bit annoyed by our presence, especially the young man, at the end of the evening, especially since we were the last customers of the evening (so they were quite justified). Excellent experience, worth trying again.

28/03/2026: Osteria is just the name; as soon as you enter, you feel like you're in a high-end restaurant, a "starred" one, to be precise. We booked for Saturday and it certainly lived up to expectations. The tomato soup entree was truly delicious, and the first courses we ordered were beautifully presented and even better in flavor. Perhaps only the dessert didn't live up to the quality of the main courses. The wine list is extensive and the service excellent. Prices are commensurate with the quality. Nothing to complain about.

22/05/2026: I've lived in Aprilia all my life, I work next to the restaurant, I finally tried it and I was amazed, wonderful welcome, polite and kind staff, very beautiful place, and divine food at a super fair price, I recommend it to anyone, to come and eat here

06/05/2026: We went for lunch on a Sunday, having booked several days in advance. The place is quaint and very welcoming (it's lovely to sit in the garden during this time of year). We opted for the €35 tasting menu per person (believe us, these aren't just tastings). Quality and abundance go hand in hand at this rustic innkeeper, and Roberto is also an excellent and friendly host.
