13/10/2025: We've been for lunch several times, and even though it was Sunday (on this day the establishment offers "Sunday lunch," meaning you don't eat à la carte, so there's a standard menu for everyone, very varied but consistent), the owner, Roberto, was very accommodating to those who were currently following a special diet. Furthermore, during the week, he offers a fairly extensive menu of typical local dishes, authentic cured meats and cheeses. The side dishes are also noteworthy, not to mention the homemade desserts. The wine selection is good, including the local one, a decent table wine. In any case, L'oste contadino allows you to spend a day in a characteristic place, combining the pleasure of a beautiful stroll with that of good food. Congratulations again to Roberto and his staff.

25/09/2025: I dined at Oste Contadino last night and had a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, immediately creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service impeccable, especially the truly light pizza. The prices are fair for the quality of the food and service offered.

14/07/2025: The food is sublime. The "Divino Roberto" restaurant is located right off the SS90, with a splendid vineyard behind it that produces the wine served at the table. This alone speaks volumes about the restaurant and its dining philosophy. The interior and exterior spaces are truly beautiful, with excellent decor and table settings that reflect the chic menu. The menu is sophisticated and expertly prepared, especially the scampi risotto and linguine with clams, among the best dishes I've ever tasted, in memory! The service was a bit lacking; the courses were served too quickly, without the proper interlude, which could have detracted from the overall experience. However, this doesn't detract from a superb meal. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming place... I personally had a delicious chestnut and mushroom soup... not at all comparable to the fusilli with mushrooms, which was honestly very soupy, that another diner chose...! When we reported the problem, they gave us complimentary roasted chestnuts... they were kind. The service between the appetizer and the main course was a bit slow, however... but all in all, we'll give them another chance to try the meat...

26/08/2025: What can I say? Neapolitan pizza at a whole new level. You can see the care and attention to detail in choosing the finest ingredients, and the result is simply spectacular. To finish on a sweet note, if you're looking for something special, order the staccetti with Nutella or the tiramisu—excellent! Mr. Carmine Ragno is a very kind and attentive customer, friendly staff, excellent experience.

08/09/2025: We chose this place based on the positive reviews we'd read... it's an understatement to say it was positive, but excellent! We've tried many in the area, but usually the set menu has always been mediocre. But here it was a pleasant surprise... excellent quality!!!! So many choices for starters, main courses, and even desserts!! The starters are sublime, with local products, the meat is tasty, tender, and excellently prepared!! Everything is plentiful!!! So many carefully prepared courses! The staff and owner are very helpful and attentive! It will be a regular in the area! Congratulations 👏

10/10/2025: I went there the other night for the first time! The place was welcoming, the staff friendly, the food was very well cooked and the combinations were well-executed... I'll definitely be back to try the whole menu!

21/09/2025: A seafood trattoria in a remote location! A pleasant discovery! Well-prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. There are also meat options, but fewer in number and variety than the seafood. Good selection of wines, especially local ones. The place is a bit noisy.

21/08/2025: I've been to MarC Food in Sala di Serino several times, and every time I leave with the same feeling: satisfied and eager to return soon. The place has a simple and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both a quiet evening with friends and a romantic getaway. What immediately struck me was the quality of the sandwiches: generous, well-filled, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. You can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients, from the meats and cheeses to the homemade sauces that add that extra touch. The crispy, freshly cut fries are also worth a mention. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent: for a modest price, you can eat a lot and well, something that's not at all a given these days. In the summer, it's delightful to sit outside and enjoy a sandwich with friends, soaking up the atmosphere of the village.

In the kitchen, his wife Teresa and daughter Anita make this place a place where atmosphere and tradition come together to delight you from appetizers to dessert 🎉 Five stars!!

09/07/2025: A beautiful, spacious, and welcoming location. The food was excellent, of excellent quality, enjoyed by all the guests. Giancarlo, the owner, and the entire staff were always available, attentive to every detail, and capable of satisfying our every need. They oversaw the entire organization of the event down to the smallest detail and with great professionalism, making it unique, elegant, and distinctive. The venue boasts several rooms with beautiful views, allowing us to accommodate guests from far and wide. The cake stand was set up in the garden. All this accompanied by fireworks and streamers for each guest, making it a unique, romantic, and unforgettable moment... At the end of the lunch, they set up a beautiful and generous buffet on the terrace, featuring various characteristic corners. The venue is spacious and well-organized, ideal for hosting even a large number of people without sacrificing elegance and comfort. On the top floor is the swimming pool, where you can admire a beautiful view that surrounds the entire structure. Highly recommended, we couldn't have made a better choice.

28/09/2025: The place is truly beautiful, with a view of the river that's worth admiring. It's a place where you can dine immersed in an enchanting landscape... it's a shame the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The portions are tiny—and that's coming from someone who's certainly not a big eater!—but here they really overdo it. I've attached some photos to prove it. The chestnut, bean, and porcini mushroom soup was so thin it was almost like broth (€15). Luckily, the bread was fresh, and despite etiquette, you can add it for a bit of substance. I had the tagliolini with pumpkin cream and toasted walnuts. They were decent, but I had to ask for some parmesan to add some flavor (€15). Finally, we ordered a plate of braised beef to share: in the photo, you can clearly see that the portion of mashed potatoes was barely half a spoonful... good, yes, but the portion is truly ridiculous! (€18).

The cuisine is home-cooked, and the portions are generous. Both the appetizer and the ravioli are excellent, carefully prepared and with an authentic flavor. A place that combines quality and tradition: I would gladly return and recommend it to anyone looking for good homemade cuisine.
