09/01/2026: It was an excellent experience. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, and the staff demonstrated high levels of professionalism and attentiveness to customer needs. The quality of the food was superb. Despite the large crowds due to the New Year's Eve lunch, the service was impeccable and every detail was taken care of. We particularly want to highlight the exceptional quality of the cured meats and meats.
30/12/2025: Everything was delicious! Simple and welcoming, with a family atmosphere. Courtesy and friendliness from all the staff, especially the owners.
The house wine was very good, and the food was made with quality ingredients. The meat was excellent!

The location was very nice: new, modern, and well-kept; the bottles of wine on display were very inviting.
The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The menu used top-quality ingredients, and all the dishes were very well executed and beautifully served.

06/01/2026: Epiphany lunch.
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a special evening.
The staff was kind and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel immediately at ease. The dishes were excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented, and the portions were more than generous.
Overall, it was a wonderful discovery that left us with a very positive memory: we'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

15/01/2026: In a province that doesn't offer any pleasant surprises in its seafood cuisine, Luca made me change my mind. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared... the raw fish at the end of the meal was unparalleled!
09/11/2025: I like to review restaurants where I dine. And I'm positive, meaning I try to capture the positives in my visits. However, this time I can't help but leave out what I had for dinner. Just for the record (as shown in the attached photos), scialatielli allo scoglio (seafood scialatelli) and calamari tagliata (sliced calamari) with arugula, piennolo cherry tomatoes, parmesan shavings, and balsamic vinegar, washed down with Fiano di Avellino. And the real sore point is the wine: how is it possible that we ordered "Fiano di Avellino" (priced at €10) from the host by word of mouth and by pointing to it on the menu, and found it on the bill for €14? The host said, "It was sold out, so I brought you this IGT wine," and then dramatically added, "I thought you knew it was sold out!" And how could we if the menu didn't say "Sold Out," nor did he even bother to inform us? Add to that, when I said I'd post my review on Google Maps and include the receipt, he first said, "For privacy reasons, you can't do that. You can say you ate well!" And we, in response, "Why can't we do that? It's our money, we paid for dinner!" He quickly rushed back to the cashier, then to us, and brought us the receipt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! Transparency comes first. You can eat and be satisfied or not, but you simply can't be served wine that's different in price from the one you ordered, and not be informed before opening the bottle. And you're supposed to expect the customer to know what they can't possibly know, having not been informed in advance!!!!! Besides, the bill says "Water" (for the record, a S. Pellegrino mineral water) is €4, when we normally pay €2.50 for it in all the restaurants, pizzerias, and trattorias we frequent (and there are many). I repeat, NEVER AGAIN!!

19/01/2026: I didn't eat well and I don't recommend this restaurant. Again, based on my experiences. The service was inattentive, careless, and unorganized, which is evident in the dishes. The "convivial" three-course appetizer (€30) was for two people; since there were four of us, we ordered two. The cod salad resembled a revisited Insalata di rinforzata, which was truly awful. The cod was old and flavorless (I thought it had been soaked too long), pickled cauliflower (the wrong ingredient), and jarred pitted olives. The stuffed pepper-like dish was made with pickled peppers (a huge mistake), the bean and chestnut soup (mediocre), and a sort of turnip greens and polenta tart (my favorite). First courses: two tagliolini with truffles and two maccaronare (a typical Irpinia dish). Tagliolini with truffle, which, again in my opinion, was made with frozen truffle, even though the waiter had assured me it was fresh. Worse still, it was full of dirt (the freezing is confirmed by the fact that if you brush a fresh truffle, you immediately notice if there's still dirt to be cleaned). The maccaronara (fresh pasta with fresh tomato sauce) was also awful. Fresh pasta of mediocre quality, lacking the "callousness" that good semolina would have, served undercooked perhaps to compensate for the lack of it. The sauce was watery and flavorless. The desserts were also mediocre. Incidentally, we received a third dessert we hadn't ordered, consisting of a tart cut into four pieces, perhaps apple, but, again in my opinion, old and dried out, which we also found on the bill (which was promptly cancelled after I pointed this out). In conclusion, I still think: poor value for money and I would avoid some pseudo-smart tricks, diverting the focus on the choice of raw materials and how to treat them.
04/01/2026: Good food, nothing to complain about the homemade pasta, well-prepared dishes, and chestnut dessert. The problem isn't the food, but the treatment.
Cheeses, wine, and a large basket of mandarins were displayed in the dining room. I asked several times if I could buy something, obviously for a fee. After a waitress told me to ask the owner, I was told curtly and impolitely that "they don't sell anything." Even a simple request to try a mandarin received an annoyed response.
The attitude was rude and unwelcoming, especially considering the restaurant is located in a mountain area where people go on purpose, not just passing through.
The final bill was €170 for four for a simple lunch in a rustic trattoria: a price, in my opinion, high for the setting and the service received.
It's a shame, because the food was worth it. But the way we were treated, they lost a customer.

20/12/2025: Warm and welcoming place, we were in a group, we had an appetizer, (raw ham, a ricotta, a mozzarella, potatoes and peppers, a bruschetta with lard and an omelette, then two platters of grilled meat with salad and dessert, all accompanied by local wine and then bitters and grappa.. excellent food, nothing to say, just a little expensive....

We celebrated our wedding there and it was fantastic: delicious food, super helpful and knowledgeable staff.

The food was excellent, of excellent quality, enjoyed by all the guests.
Giancarlo, the owner, and the entire staff were always available, attentive to every detail, and capable of satisfying our every need.
They oversaw the entire organization of the event down to the smallest detail and with great professionalism, making it unique, elegant, and distinctive.
The venue boasts several rooms with beautiful views, allowing us to accommodate guests from far and wide.
The cake stand was set up in the garden. All this accompanied by fireworks and streamers for each guest, making it a unique, romantic, and unforgettable moment...
At the end of the lunch, they set up a beautiful and generous buffet on the terrace, featuring various characteristic corners.
The venue is spacious and well-organized, ideal for hosting even a large number of people without sacrificing elegance and comfort.
On the top floor is the swimming pool, where you can admire a beautiful view that surrounds the entire structure.
Highly recommended, we couldn't have made a better choice.

08/01/2026: Sometimes it seems almost unbelievable to find a four-star pizzeria in a small provincial town. Pizzeria Avelli is one of these surprises: without fanfare and without extensive social media use, it still manages to hold its own against many renowned pizzerias. Located in the heart of Quindici, in the province of Avellino, it is an example of quality that speaks for itself, without the need for grand proclamations.
31/12/2025: Pizzeria Avelli was a fantastic discovery and, from now on, a must-visit for my family and I. Local Irpinia ingredients, carefully selected and refined, but always with full respect for tradition, create an authentic, top-quality pizza. The dough is extremely light and digestible: even the next day, there's no discomfort or heartburn, which unfortunately can sometimes happen elsewhere.
The pizzas are delicious, flavorful, and beautiful to look at; the photos speak for themselves.
A special mention goes to the dessert of artisanal panettone accompanied by Quindici vanilla ice cream, a truly out-of-this-world combination that perfectly rounded off the dinner.
The owners' courtesy, helpfulness, and attentiveness were the icing on the cake, making us feel welcomed and pampered. A highly recommended experience, where quality and passion shine through in every detail. I can't wait to return!
P.S. Highly recommended are the pizzas: “Tonnara Avelli” (good and delicate) and “A purpett” (with real local meatballs, delicious!)

04/11/2025: I visited this very welcoming little restaurant to celebrate a family event, and I must say that my expectations and the recommendations of other friends were fully confirmed. The food was excellent, gourmet yet traditional, the staff friendly, and the location small but with a decidedly welcoming and family atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I'll be back soon to enjoy other delicacies.

11/11/2025: After 10 years of absence, the last time I went to the old establishment, and I brought some of my colleagues from Brescia to let them eat the quality fish and in abundance not drawn on the plate and I made a great impression; they couldn't believe their eyes at how much food they had brought us of all qualities. Here in the new establishment I always found the same spectacular welcome, always fresh, genuine food, Diego and a great chef, Papa Sabatino, always a great gentleman, excellent service. I booked on Saturday afternoon, it was packed, but for friends, as always, they found a table. Thanks Diego, thanks Sabatino, when I return I swear I'll book the week before, hahahahah, a hug, you are the best.

Unfortunately, this restaurant was practically unavailable to us as it's not a popular spot in winter, but this didn't detract from the impeccable service we received. All the dishes were delicious, and the Taurasi Riserva red wine was every bit as good as a Barolo! Two memorable days!

From the moment you walk in, everything feels special. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with that effortless Italian charm that makes you feel instantly at home. The service is world class, professional, warm, and perfectly timed.
The food is exceptional. Each dish is refined, full of flavor, and made with incredible respect for ingredients. You can taste the passion, modern-tradition, and creativity that define the very best of Italian cuisine.
This restaurant absolutely deserves a Michelin star. Dining here is not just eating in Italy, it is experiencing Italy at its finest.
