10/05/2026: An exceptional osteria in Calitri, very popular with locals. And for good reason, because the cuisine is excellent, traditional, just like grandma's. The atmosphere is friendly and popular, with very professional owners and staff. You absolutely must try the cannazzi or cingul al ragù, the house specialties. The lamb cacciatore is phenomenal. The desserts, such as the ricotta cake and tiramisu, are excellent. The price/quality ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

19/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent seafood and extraordinary hospitality! Everything was absolutely top-notch in Ariano Irpino! Super fresh seafood and impeccable service, even when the restaurant was packed. The owner, Biffi, definitely knows his job: he's incredibly talented, patient, and incredibly kind. It was a pleasure working with him, and his lovely gesture of giving me a rose at the end of the meal really touched me. Five well-deserved stars!

14/03/2026: The Montanarina pizza bread was amazing — lightly deep-fried with a crispy outside and soft inside. The combination of stracciata, mortadella, and pistachio was incredibly delicious. My Panico burger was very juicy and fresh. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area with heaters, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic meal! 😋

16/05/2026: Truly excellent food, carefully prepared dishes, and acceptable service. The only negative: I was served a dish labeled 'baccalà alla Lucariello,' but the fish didn't taste like cod fillet at all. It's a shame about this lack of transparency, because the overall quality of the cuisine deserves better.

11/05/2026: An unacceptable experience and total disorganization. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, which I had fond memories of, since I wasn't even given the opportunity to sit down. Despite having made a reservation on Wednesday, May 6th, for Sunday, May 10th, Mother's Day, we were left waiting for over an hour and ten minutes. On my second attempt to make a reservation within the time limit, I was offered the "tavern," a place my father couldn't comfortably access due to his mobility issues. It's inconceivable that a restaurant would accept reservations if it can't manage the flow of customers or respect their schedules. After 70 minutes of fruitless waiting and total indifference from the staff, who, instead of seating us, kept offering us a welcome "spumante" (which we obviously didn't accept), we decided to give up and go eat elsewhere. Poor management, lack of professionalism, and total disregard for other people's time. We wanted to celebrate a family anniversary, but it all turned out to be a nightmare. I'm so sorry, because the quality of the food is worth a visit, but if you're looking for a place where reservations are worthwhile, look elsewhere. It's an experience you'll never repeat.

03/06/2026: I returned after a year and honestly, it must have been a bad day! The previous year we ate very well, so much so that I recommended it to friends or relatives visiting the sanctuary to stop there for lunch because we really ate too well! Now I found everything unpleasant, from the meat to the pasta, which was then listed as fusilli in tegame but on arrival was gnocchi, the wine which was almost vinegary, the appetizer excellent, dairy products and quality cured meats, the fast service, the location, but for the rest, very, very disappointed. I still hope it was a bad day that can happen and has not become the norm, because I still remember with pleasure and above all surprise, being a tourist menu, the quality of the food (everything) from last year. In any case, I will try again to confirm or deny my review on my next visit.

30/05/2026: I celebrated my graduation here in March, and I must say it was a perfect experience down to the last detail. From the lunch to the room decor, everything was taken care of with great attention. We truly felt at home. I'm very pleased with having chosen Angolo Verde to celebrate such an important milestone. I'll definitely be back!

09/06/2026: We celebrated my son's first communion here, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was impeccable, with attention to every detail—the location, the menu, and the service were all 5-star. Honorable mention goes to all the staff who helped us organize the event with care and attention beyond all expectations. More than 20 years ago, it was a guarantee; today, it's a confirmation. I highly recommend Villa Regina and I hope to return soon.

07/06/2026: We celebrated our wedding in 2006 and the level of professionalism was excellent. Today we returned and saw even more improvements. Congratulations to everyone, from the organization to the service.

23/05/2026: Spectacular! The appetizers, first courses, and desserts were all sublime. The atmosphere was very refined, clean, and quaint. Mr. Tonino was incredibly charming, busy preparing the first courses. The staff was very attentive and kind. At one point, they brought out musical instruments and got the diners involved: it was great fun, we felt like part of the family. We absolutely must return to try the other delicacies on the menu. My heartfelt congratulations to everyone!

20/04/2026: Perhaps it's because places where you feel welcomed with kindness and thoughtfulness predispose you to judge positively, or perhaps the discreet yet diligent presence of Carmine and his daughters is a significant plus, but the extraordinary pizza dough, the masterpiece of fried zucchini, the deliciousness of the fried pizza strips with white chocolate ensure that my wife, son, and I, every time we think of going to a pizzeria, never manage to deviate from the road that leads to Atripalda at Carmine Ragno.

18/05/2026: A place where we ate truly authentic products, a truly excellent first course (candele al ragù) and a second course (grilled meat), also delicious. The place was packed, but the service was really good. The only small flaw was the slightly high price: a first course, second course, and dessert were €40 each with a bottle of house wine, but again, you can let that slide because the quality was satisfactory.

31/05/2026: A location surrounded by greenery: I went for dinner and found it particularly charming, with the lights and the river flowing below. This restaurant serves specially prepared delicacies, some more sophisticated, showcasing each individual ingredient. Appetizers, first courses, and second courses: everything is truly delicious. Given the formality of the dining room and the friendly staff, it's also ideal for an elegant dinner. A special mention goes to their egg tagliolini, which are perhaps the best we've ever had. Prices are medium-high for a restaurant in a small provincial town, but given the high quality, it's definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

04/05/2026: The venue is beautiful: on the banks of the Calore River, it's all stone, beautifully renovated and furnished. It has several outdoor tables overlooking the river and a spacious indoor dining room. The menu isn't extensive and features mostly local cuisine. The quality is excellent, with top-quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff is discreet but friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly higher than average. Worth a try.
