Good welcome from the staff, good context but tasteless, insipid and apparently poorly preserved food as all those who were at lunch at our table including me were ill the same evening with dysentery. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place

27/10/2024: Am schönsten Brunnen auf Ischias Flaniermeile gelegen ist es Abends sehr lebendig aber trotzdem gemütlich. Die Hähnchenschnitzel waren hauchdünn und sehr lecker. Der Service war schnell und freundlich.

05/01/2025: Siamo stati a valle degli ulivi per il pranzo del 1 dell’anno e abbiamo pernottato li eravamo in 7 più bambini , abbiamo ricevuto un ottima accoglienza dalla ragazza e dalla proprietaria ci siamo sentiti a casa c era una bella atmosfera ..camerieri molto educati e gentili anche non essendo il massimo de servizio nel cambio posate tra una portata e un altra piccoli accorgimenti ,ma il cibo era ottimo tutto fatto in casa .. il vino non cì e piaciuto sapeva di bruciato Quello che non ci è piaciuto e la mancanza del servizio serale anche una colazione a sacco qualche affettato sarebbe stato gradito insomma qualcosa da stuzzicare essendo difficile uscire soprattutto di sera con bambini ..tutto sommato siamo stati bene basta fare qualche piccola attenzione e sarebbe perfetto.

09/11/2024: Ve la racconto così… La sala: servizio fatto da persone di esperienza, che accolgono anche gli ospiti della struttura alberghiera annessa. La cucina: protagoniste le selezioni di carni di qualità, nostrane ed estere, con buon rapporto tra queste e il relativo prezzo. La location: caratteristici divanetti e tavolini, nel classico stile di un’accogliente bistrot. + buona selezione di vini, con valide etichette proposte con giusti ricarichi. - migliorabili alcuni spazi comuni all’hotel.

05/12/2024: Il posto è suggestivo e senz’altro di grande impatto, ma l’igiene non è fra le priorità né nei bagni né all’ingresso dove la polvere e la trascuratezza sono evidenti. Il menù non è niente di speciale.

12/12/2024: The place is well furnished and the open kitchen is certainly an added value. The smells from the kitchen, however, reach the room as if the hood wasn't working. And unfortunately they weren't perfumes. A smell of poorly cured seafood. The waitress seemed to be reciting a nursery rhyme for each table in a high, too high tone of voice. The service boy on the other hand was very professional. A chickpea and squid soup (decent), a fresh pasta linguine with seafood (very popular, especially the black mussels from abroad), a fried cod on cream I don't remember (nothing exceptional). Mineral water. 2 people. Excessive price especially when compared to how much a complete lunch would cost (two dishes with dessert and wine perhaps). Michelin's report is not clear to me, however we will return to re-evaluate.

07/12/2024: Local located in via Lepanto in Pompeii pedestrian area which gives the place an edge without car noise and smog with the possibility of having a chat while walking between one course and another. As soon as you enter Casa Gallo you are greeted by Salvatore Vitiello who with immense joy makes you truly feel the warmth of home and between a chat and a laugh he accompanies you to the table and helps you with every request. The cuisine is of the highest quality followed by the patron chef Vincenzo Cascone who really puts his heart into it and guides and advises you in a 360° experience in his idea of ​​refined cuisine. Well what can I say if you want to feel as comfortable as at home and want to spend a nice evening in joy and harmony and above all eat good food I highly recommend relying on the staff of CASA GALLO.

07/01/2025: Table of ten people. Seven of whom ordered an excellent pizza. Three of us ordered spaghetti with clams and they arrived with cold clams without garlic and parsley with practically no flavour. We made a mistake in not complaining immediately and I understand that only those who work can make mistakes. But the mockery came with the bill..... 5 euro discount and two coffees offered..... The dish cost 16 euros CAD.

20/12/2024: Where to enjoy an excellent fish dinner in Battipaglia? From King Baudouin! Stunning place and excellent cuisine! We ordered the fried cuttlefish salad, the tempura prawns and the king's bite, truly extraordinary. Excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a restaurant in Battipaglia that really knows how to make a difference.
