10/01/2026: We went to eat with locals. It was a really nice place. The dining room where we ate was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. After lunch, we strolled around the entire area, which was wonderfully filled with lemon and orange trees, peppers scattered (and delicious) everywhere, as well as farmyard animals like geese and rabbits, but also cows, donkeys, and so on. A truly beautiful place.

15/03/2026: During a recent dinner at "Nonna Viola," I had the opportunity to evaluate the restaurant's culinary offerings and hospitality. A detailed review based on quality and usability follows. Gastronomic Profiles and Service: The culinary offerings were excellent. Specifically, the entrecôte I ordered stood out for its excellent cut quality and precise cooking technique. The rest of the group expressed equally positive opinions about the pizzas, pasta dishes, and a variety of appetizers. The staff is a fundamental pillar of the business: their unmistakable friendliness and natural welcoming attitude lend the restaurant a pleasant and professional atmosphere. Accessibility and Logistics: Regarding infrastructure and logistics, the following technical observations are made: • Parking: Parking was easy, with the option of parking on the street in the immediate vicinity of the entrance. • Architectural Barriers: Access to the facility is via a flight of steps (approximately 7-8). Wheelchair users must be lifted to enter. • Space Distribution: Although the interior space is small, it is a positive aspect that the restrooms are located on the same level as the dining area, ensuring seamless movement once the height difference has been overcome. Conclusions: An overall commendable experience regarding service and cuisine. We hope for future structural improvements to remove the barriers to entry, which would make the facility an inclusive landmark for the area. 5 stars for encouragement!

21/01/2026: Very nice place, excellent cuisine, reasonable prices. Recommended for everyone. Excellent pizza, but the restaurant-style dishes are also quite good. During the warmer months, you can sit outside and enjoy the dishes and/or pizza. The owners, Davide and Marco, are excellent, and the staff is also very kind and helpful.

06/04/2026: We were at this location yesterday for Easter lunch. It's a truly beautiful place, surrounded by greenery, with two pools, one large and one hot tub. There are several gazebos and a bar area. I think going there in the summer will be wonderfully relaxing. The dining room where we had lunch was well-kept and clean, truly beautiful. The food was very good. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a nice Prosecco, which we enjoyed in the garden. The owner is a very kind, welcoming, and friendly guy. He gave us a bottle of sparkling wine because it was my sister's birthday. We highly recommend it; we'll be back soon. Bonaccio Family

We had seafood parmigiana to start, followed by stuffed calamari and baby octopus alla bella donna with a side of fries...what more can I say?! The owner was extremely kind and welcoming; we even had the pleasure of chatting with him, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant and familiar. The venue is meticulously designed, elegant, and yet very welcoming. You can immediately sense the passion and attention dedicated to every aspect. An experience definitely worth repeating, highly recommended to anyone looking to enjoy a perfect evening in Forio!

05/04/2026: I have been to many many restaurants, but it is the first time ever I feel like I have to write a negative review. Because this is the first time ever that they forgot to bring me the main course. So I left without it. They were also very casual about it, which was pretty bizar. The main course is pretty defining and if you just don't bring it...? To top it off, they over charged me for the coperto as well. There are so many good restaurants in Napoli, this isn't one of them in my opinion.

05/04/2026: Terrible experience. We went to DonnaRomita for dinner on Easter Sunday. We were looking for the kind of experience the reviews describe, but instead it was a nightmare. The place was empty, the service was cold, the food was poorly presented, and above all, the food was truly awful. The menu was "reduced" compared to what appears on the website, so I ordered the "catch of the day" (amberjack), asking the waiter how it was cooked. The waiter replied, "baked, with salad." The amberjack arrived soaked in mayonnaise (which I can't eat) with some broccoli rabe that had just appeared out of nowhere (which I don't like and would never have chosen). When I asked for an explanation, the waiter replied, "They put it there," pointing to the kitchen. It's definitely not the waiter's fault, but communication between the cook and the waiter is essential for the customer to know what they're ordering (and then pay a hefty €25). Terrible. My boyfriend ordered gnocchi with pumpkin and guanciale, which came in some sort of pumpkin sauce, also definitely diluted with dairy products—nothing like what we expected. Despite our complaint, there was absolutely no discount, and we left with the waiters shutting down the room, annoyed, without even looking at us, spending over €70 for two. This kind of service and cuisine are simply unacceptable. Having complained, we expected some questions from the staff (e.g., was everything okay?), but we got the feeling they were just about to close the place down, so we left. It's Easter Sunday, but if this is the norm, then it's better to stay closed. The customer spends money and feels cheated. PS: We both had stomach aches.

02/05/2026: A lovely trattoria like they used to be...a family atmosphere, with attentive and very friendly service. We had lunch with friends and had bucatini with rabbit sauce...and then the rabbit cooked in an earthenware pot, truly delicious.
