07/11/2025: Was really hopeful it would be great! Kids spaghetti fine, but nothing amazing. Pumpkin risotto was good. Meatballs were raw and sent back. Packaged up as take away and got home... for them to STILL be raw. All of that for the low price of almost 150 euros. Much better places to eat on the coast. Skip it.

28/10/2025: Service was excellent, the food is good, and we definitely enjoyed our dinner. Be sure to make reservations. This restaurant is recommended. Americans please note that the portions are small, relative to typical American expectations for dinner. You definitely need an appetizer with your meal if you are hungry. No salads or vegetables, which is also different relative to typical American meals. This restaurant is not unique in the general lack of vegetables for dinner. We experienced this across Italy and Denmark during our trip, so this must be typical.

15/06/2026: FULLY 5 stars. We were there last night and had a wonderful time. The food was good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We'll be back!

31/05/2026: After a brief visit to Casertavecchia, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. We had a traditional appetizer, pappardella with wild boar, and a portion of cavatelli with porcini mushrooms and sausage and sautéed vegetables. Everything was delicious and we spent a fair amount. I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: Really great place to eat! Atmosphere is has an American cafe vibe and the food is deliciously Italian. We enjoyed looking at all the different art on the walls. The pizza was thin and layered with very good ingredients. I personally has the Mimosa pizza and the amount of cheese was amazing. The staff do a fantastic job and are very helpful.

29/06/2026: Food can be better … Salad is almost tasteless or maybe not up to standard . Pasta’s are really good tho… ! Nice variety of breads and oil and balsamico.

23/06/2026: A very enjoyable experience overall, especially thanks to the breathtaking views. The location is truly spectacular, offering some of the most beautiful scenery in Ravello and making the meal feel special from the moment you sit down. The food was excellent, with high-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes that showcased the local cuisine. Every plate was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The only reason for four rather than five stars is the value for money. Portions were noticeably on the small side, and prices felt quite steep even by Amalfi Coast standards. While the quality is certainly there, the overall experience would feel more balanced with slightly more generous servings or more reasonable pricing. That said, if you’re looking for great food paired with unforgettable views, this is still a restaurant well worth visiting.

19/05/2026: The staff is SUPER AMAZING, very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. Our room was a sea view one, you can see the sea and the panoramic view from the bed, it was amazing. The location was not too near to the city center but you can easily take the shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center or to the marina grande.

04/07/2026: We just returned from a pleasant evening at this welcoming place, with excellent service... the panuozzo was delicious, as was the pizza. But the Frittatina stole our hearts. We hope to return soon with some friends. Highly recommended.

08/04/2026: The place is beautiful. The food, setting, and atmosphere are excellent. The staff is attentive, courteous, and helpful. Dishes are made with locally sourced ingredients, produced on the farm. Recommended!

10/01/2026: We went to eat with locals. It was a really nice place. The dining room where we ate was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. After lunch, we strolled around the entire area, which was wonderfully filled with lemon and orange trees, peppers scattered (and delicious) everywhere, as well as farmyard animals like geese and rabbits, but also cows, donkeys, and so on. A truly beautiful place.

22/05/2026: Very kind... Wonderful people The outside is very cute with very large awnings... The inside is very large. There's also a play area for children. The pizza is super light and very tasty. They also make gluten-free pizza. There's a private parking lot in front where you can park easily.

09/05/2026: Truly excellent pizzas and fast, attentive service. The real surprise was the play area with entertainers: a fantastic idea for those with kids! A perfect place for families. I wish there were a pizzeria like this in Bari!

15/06/2026: The menu is extensive and the sandwiches are truly excellent, with good value. Unfortunately, the experience is dampened by the somewhat cold and unprofessional service. The food is excellent, but the welcome needs updating.

26/06/2026: I didn't expect to find this level of quality in the Diano Valley. A clean and tastefully decorated environment. Well-maintained and efficient service. And then the food (the pizza in particular) was top-quality, with fresh, well-balanced ingredients. We ate a "special" pizza in every sense of the word. The staff was attentive and friendly. I mean, what more could you ask for? Oh, maybe inside, I would have preferred some lounge music or smooth jazz playing in the background, instead of the usual news broadcast on multiple screens. That would have been perfect. Anyway, congratulations!

11/06/2026: I mean guys we only chosen it because we come from India, as a joke with an Indian friend we met for lunch! The name of our leader Maximo! But what a surprise! The pizzas were the best I had in Campania and the salad was so big and fresh with mozzarella and anchovies- divine! Loved it - the bill too!! And I forgot the environment was so sterile and te television was on which is a no no for me

18/05/2026: The last time I reviewed Garganta was several years ago, and today I can say that the quality of both the service and the products has not only remained unchanged, but has actually improved! I was there for a birthday party last Saturday and the food was divine; from fried foods to spectacular pizzas, you'll be spoiled for choice because you'll want to try them all. I haven't had the chance or time to try the first courses, second courses, and appetizers yet, but from the photos, they look very inviting, and I'll definitely be back. The restaurant has a modern and very refined design; I personally loved the open kitchen, as well as the pizza corner with the wood-fired oven visible from the street. This makes the atmosphere more welcoming and, in my opinion, engages the guest more deeply in the culinary experience. The staff is made up of numerous waiters and waitresses, from the most experienced to the younger ones eager to get involved and work: I really appreciated the presence of young staff. In conclusion, I highly recommend Garganta, whether for lunch or dinner with friends, a special event, or any other occasion; the staff will help you satisfy your culinary needs. I also recommend making reservations, especially on busy days, to guarantee a table. Although we waited about twenty minutes on a Saturday evening, the wait was more than reasonable. I will definitely return in the future to try the other dishes on the menu.

11/04/2026: The pasta was cold, but it tasted good. The service was good, the place is spacious, and the bathroom was clean. We came wanting to eat homemade Italian pasta, but it didn't quite win us over. Overall, it was okay.

18/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service. I wanted to have pizza with my husband, but I ate alone because my husband's pizza was wrong twice in a row. The non-EU waiter didn't even understand the correction we explained to him precisely. It's true that they didn't charge it, but my husband was left hungry and the evening was ruined. We won't be returning.

18/02/2026: A place with a simple, retro feel, but with a warm, old-fashioned welcome. The panuozzo upside-down is a must-try, and the prices are incredibly affordable. The owners are very attentive. I've been coming back often now when I want to relax and feel at home.
