14/02/2026: We had dinner at Sunrise Pizzeria, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Everything we ordered was truly delicious. The pizzas have a light crust and quality ingredients. The fried foods and Nutella-filled strips were also delicious, to top it off! The real added value is the children's play area. It's run by kind, polite, and highly trained entertainers, allowing parents to enjoy dinner in complete relaxation, knowing their little ones are having fun in safety. A welcoming place and helpful staff. In short: the food is good, and the attention to families is top-notch. We'll definitely be back!

01/02/2026: I went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch (today). The plan was spot on: a reservation at 2:00 PM, an early arrival at 1:30 PM, and curiosity skyrocketed after reading the menu online. Unfortunately, at the entrance to the hotel (I repeat: the hotel, not the restaurant; so right at the street entrance of the hotel that houses the restaurant), a guy from reception or security—I don't know exactly—literally stood in front of the door, physically blocking our entry because I was wearing shorts. The reaction was surreal: as if he'd seen a naked sex maniac trying to get in. Within seconds, a sort of hotel "crisis unit" arrived. Bottom line: we weren't allowed in and eat our regularly booked meal. I absolutely must point out that these weren't beach shorts, quite the opposite. And we're talking about Sunday lunch, after all. If it had been dinner, I might have been able to understand. They're happy. In any case, I showed up at the restaurant, fully respecting the reservation I had made.

21/12/2025: A fast-food-style place not far from the center of Sorrento. But the walk is worth it: the burger is excellent, especially the one with broccoli rabe and Neapolitan tarallo. The price is around 10-12 euros. Definitely worth a try!

12/12/2025: We had lunch with two of my friends, ordering fried fish for an appetizer and three first courses for mains. The service and atmosphere were very pleasant, but unfortunately the fried fish was greasy and soft, below expectations. The first course was good, but it's a shame the appetizer and the fried fish were subpar.

30/10/2025: A trattoria on stilts, in an incredible location. The decor is dated but reassuring. The kitchen produces true gems of taste! Super fresh fish. Authentic flavors. An elderly lady in the kitchen expertly masters the art of showcasing the finest ingredients. The marinated anchovies are incredible in size and flavor. The eggplant parmigiana is perfect. The house wine is very good. The price is reasonable for the quality. I'll be back.

15/03/2026: During our visit to Pietrelcina, we discovered a true gem: the trattoria "C'era una volta." The restaurant is simply beautiful, housed in a traditional stone structure that creates a warm, authentic, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for immersing yourself in the local tradition. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and very friendly. They passionately guided us through our menu choices, recommending some truly exceptional specialties that made the experience even more special. Everything was accompanied by an excellent wine from their cellar, which deserves a special mention: it's truly extensive and packed with labels, capable of satisfying every taste and showcasing the dishes to perfection. A place where you eat well, drink well, and above all, feel welcomed. If you're passing through Pietrelcina, stopping here is almost a must. Highly recommended!
