13/01/2026: Not only is the food excellent, but it's the staff that makes this place unique. We were greeted with warmth, smiles, and kindness. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back! The prices are definitely low compared to the quality!

15/11/2025: A great place in name and in fact!!! We came by chance and then recommended it by a shop assistant, only to find out later that she was the owner's sister-in-law... we ate very well, quality food cooked to perfection!! Everything was excellent!! Friendliness from the owners and staff!! What can I say!! SUPER!! We'll see you again soon!!

15/04/2026: Traditional and charming restaurant. We all really liked what we had: pizza margherita, pizza marinara, pasta alla genovese and spaghetti vongole and desserts. Delicious house wine, very reasonable prices, nice staff in an inviting setting.

11/04/2026: I went with a group of friends, and no one liked what they ordered. Undercooked pasta, poor-quality toppings, pizza unworthy of a Neapolitan restaurant, and the desserts (we tried several) were all terrible (e.g., the rum baba I hadn't even seen from afar; it was watered down with a syrup of water and sugar). Avoid.

25/04/2026: I recently visited Pizzeria Sandro in San Prisco and the experience was overall pleasant, albeit with a few "buts." ​The Atmosphere and Service ​The place presents itself as an unpretentious place, ideal for a casual evening with friends or family where appearance matters less than substance. The service is good: the staff was courteous and attentive. A positive note also goes for the cover charge, which is adequately priced for the type of place. ​The Pizza: Lights and Shadows ​But let's get to the main dish. The pizza remained in a sort of "limbo": neither good nor bad. ​The Ingredients: You can tell the ingredients are of good quality. ​The Sore Point: It lacks that certain something necessary to call it an excellent pizza. The main problem I found was with the rolling and cooking: the crust was a bit undercooked, a sign that perhaps the temperature management or the rising/cooking times need to be reworked. The Bill ​The real strength is the prices: excellent. In a period of general price increases, finding a place to eat without spending a fortune is certainly an added bonus. ​In summary: An excellent option for those looking for a quick and affordable meal in a family atmosphere. If the cooking of the crust were improved, the leap in quality would be evident. ​Final rating: 3/5

05/04/2026: I have been to many many restaurants, but it is the first time ever I feel like I have to write a negative review. Because this is the first time ever that they forgot to bring me the main course. So I left without it. They were also very casual about it, which was pretty bizar. The main course is pretty defining and if you just don't bring it...? To top it off, they over charged me for the coperto as well. There are so many good restaurants in Napoli, this isn't one of them in my opinion.

05/04/2026: Terrible experience. We went to DonnaRomita for dinner on Easter Sunday. We were looking for the kind of experience the reviews describe, but instead it was a nightmare. The place was empty, the service was cold, the food was poorly presented, and above all, the food was truly awful. The menu was "reduced" compared to what appears on the website, so I ordered the "catch of the day" (amberjack), asking the waiter how it was cooked. The waiter replied, "baked, with salad." The amberjack arrived soaked in mayonnaise (which I can't eat) with some broccoli rabe that had just appeared out of nowhere (which I don't like and would never have chosen). When I asked for an explanation, the waiter replied, "They put it there," pointing to the kitchen. It's definitely not the waiter's fault, but communication between the cook and the waiter is essential for the customer to know what they're ordering (and then pay a hefty €25). Terrible. My boyfriend ordered gnocchi with pumpkin and guanciale, which came in some sort of pumpkin sauce, also definitely diluted with dairy products—nothing like what we expected. Despite our complaint, there was absolutely no discount, and we left with the waiters shutting down the room, annoyed, without even looking at us, spending over €70 for two. This kind of service and cuisine are simply unacceptable. Having complained, we expected some questions from the staff (e.g., was everything okay?), but we got the feeling they were just about to close the place down, so we left. It's Easter Sunday, but if this is the norm, then it's better to stay closed. The customer spends money and feels cheated. PS: We both had stomach aches.

01/05/2026: As previous reviews indicated, the service and clientele aren't particularly good. Even the taxi driver on the way there advised me to definitely take a taxi back, which speaks to the area's safety. However, the food is exquisite. The rich tomato flavor of the pomodoro sauce—or perhaps it's more like a broth—was absorbed into the pasta, making it incredibly delicious. I also ordered the razor clams. The razor clam broth, olive oil, and salt flavors were fantastic, and the bread soaked in the soup was also superb! This is a restaurant I definitely want to visit again when I go to Naples.

The service is quick and attentive, and the owner is truly kind and helpful, always ready to make guests feel at home. The pizzas are excellent, with a light, well-leavened dough, fresh ingredients, and perfect cooking. The dishes are also very good, carefully prepared and with generous portions. 07/01/2026: We went before the Napoli vs Verona, a big bottle of Peroni €4.50 absolute BARGAIN (especially as a normal size was €3.50) lovely staff, very helpful even for us English folks, however for being 2 hours before a Napoli game there was a better atmosphere at a funeral

06/12/2025: I tasted the best ginseng of my life at the Waikiki Bar, served with extreme courtesy and professionalism by the friendly owner who made me feel welcomed as if I were welcoming friends into their home. An experience worth repeating and one I definitely recommend to anyone near the Maradona Stadium. What can I say? Go Napoli and Go Waikiki Bar!!

08/05/2026: We were thrilled with Zero Zero Grano! Finally, a restaurant where you can eat gluten-free without sacrificing flavor. The food was excellent, fresh, and prepared with great care. We especially loved the stylish and cozy atmosphere – you immediately feel at ease. Very friendly service and overall a real highlight. We will definitely be back! Siamo rimasti davvero entusiasti di Zero Zero Grano! Finallymente un ristorante dove si può mangiare senza glutine sanz rinunciare al gusto. I piatti erano eccellenti, freschi e preparati con grande cara. Anche l’ambiente è molto bello, elegante e accogliente. Servizio gentilissimo e atmosfera davvero piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente!

08/05/2026: Excellent GF beer and meatballs, good bread, mixed salad, and tiramisu, and OK tagliatelle. Pricey but worth it for a GF meal. However, shortly after arriving home after dinner, I suddenly experienced itchy hands, flushed face, rapid heart rate, and general shakiness that lasted more than an hour, then receded. Scary, but we eventually recognized the symptoms as an MSG reaction I'd had years before that must have come from our meal. I was OK again in the morning. :( Disappointed.

The location is truly beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail, perfect for a special event. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all the guests. The organization was impeccable: everything was handled with care, allowing me to enjoy the party without a care in the world, and the staff was always available and kind. I absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking to make a special occasion unique!
