29/01/2026: A beautiful, welcoming and warm establishment. Its strong point is its wood-fired pizza oven, along with a refined menu featuring light touches of gourmet cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate parking is available. I also recommend it for takeout pizzas.

On Easter evening, Castagneto was closed, but since we had booked a room at his B&B, Marco opened Castagneto just for us and treated us to an exceptional and incredibly generous culinary experience. Unforgettable! We highly recommend this place.

15/05/2026: The owner fixed us a very delicious sandwich of fresh bread, buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, eggplant and fresh picked basil. We sat outside on the staircase and had a lovely refreshing lunch watching the people go by! Do yourself a favor and visit this salumeria! You’ll be happy you did!

10/05/2026: A restaurant to forget. 1:45 for mediocre, poorly cooked pasta. After almost two hours, I expected pasta to be properly cooked. The mussels were small and overcooked (the inside was dried out and wrinkled, a sign of overcooking), the same was true for the shrimp (the shell wouldn't peel off, a sign that they hadn't cooked enough). The sauce was flavorless, like hospital food. After 45 minutes, we still needed a place setting, and they barely even brought water. The place is disgusting, on a run-down provincial road; in short, not even the location saves it. Awful place, avoid it. Spend your money elsewhere. I want to point out that this isn't the first time we've waited an unacceptably long time, and it's not the first time the food has been mediocre. The fish may be fresh, but is this a restaurant or a fishmonger? I've eaten better fish in the center of Rome (considering how it was cooked), and if we're talking about a restaurant ON THE SEA that only serves fish, this is unacceptable.

06/04/2026: Nothing special, the fried meat was good. The pasta alla genovese was disappointing, with only onions and no meat. The only positive note was the pastiera, excellent. The prices were a bit high for Naples.

05/05/2026: The coffee seems good, if only they remembered to serve it after waiting 15 minutes to order it. But they don't forget to charge you! And what a surprise when you point out that you haven't yet had your lovely coffee by the sea in the setting sun on a weekday evening in a place as empty as my stomach, which only yearned to be pampered by the sweet taste of a coffee made with passion, as only Neapolitan tradition dictates! I'd like to attach a photo if I have one.

24/04/2026: The food is very good, the prices are also very decent. The only problem is that no one spoke English and we had a little difficulty understanding each other.

18/04/2026: The pizza arrived cold and the dough was clearly raw in the center, while the crust was burnt. The sauce was poor quality, and overall the product was very disappointing. Even the mixed fried food didn't meet our expectations: basic ingredients like zeppoline, rice balls, and scagnozzielli were missing, replaced with just a few pieces, and they were poorly made. A negative experience, I won't be returning.

08/05/2026: Excellent GF beer and meatballs, good bread, mixed salad, and tiramisu, and OK tagliatelle. Pricey but worth it for a GF meal. However, shortly after arriving home after dinner, I suddenly experienced itchy hands, flushed face, rapid heart rate, and general shakiness that lasted more than an hour, then receded. Scary, but we eventually recognized the symptoms as an MSG reaction I'd had years before that must have come from our meal. I was OK again in the morning. :( Disappointed.

08/05/2026: We were thrilled with Zero Zero Grano! Finally, a restaurant where you can eat gluten-free without sacrificing flavor. The food was excellent, fresh, and prepared with great care. We especially loved the stylish and cozy atmosphere – you immediately feel at ease. Very friendly service and overall a real highlight. We will definitely be back! Siamo rimasti davvero entusiasti di Zero Zero Grano! Finallymente un ristorante dove si può mangiare senza glutine sanz rinunciare al gusto. I piatti erano eccellenti, freschi e preparati con grande cara. Anche l’ambiente è molto bello, elegante e accogliente. Servizio gentilissimo e atmosfera davvero piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente!

06/04/2026: We were at this location yesterday for Easter lunch. It's a truly beautiful place, surrounded by greenery, with two pools, one large and one hot tub. There are several gazebos and a bar area. I think going there in the summer will be wonderfully relaxing. The dining room where we had lunch was well-kept and clean, truly beautiful. The food was very good. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a nice Prosecco, which we enjoyed in the garden. The owner is a very kind, welcoming, and friendly guy. He gave us a bottle of sparkling wine because it was my sister's birthday. We highly recommend it; we'll be back soon. Bonaccio Family

27/02/2026: We celebrated my daughter's graduation. The service was excellent, the staff attentive and friendly. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.
