01/02/2026: Definitely the best pizza I've ever had in the Avellino province, and probably in my top five overall. Gorgeous place, impeccable service, and spectacular dough. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: We arrive at 8:30 PM, a table for seven people and two one-and-a-half-year-old girls. The first pizza for the table arrives about two hours later—10:30 PM—but they don't all arrive at the same time, and they forget which two they were. We ask for them, and after a while, we cancel them because everyone at the table had already finished eating.

29/01/2026: A beautiful, welcoming and warm establishment. Its strong point is its wood-fired pizza oven, along with a refined menu featuring light touches of gourmet cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate parking is available. I also recommend it for takeout pizzas.

11/04/2026: I'm sharing this review for the simple fact that places like this don't deserve the crowds they have and to stay open... because customers need to be treated a certain way!! And above all with respect!! Like this evening, while I was waiting in line to pay, someone who works in the place suddenly started treating the customers in line who wanted to pay rudely, saying that they had to move away because otherwise they couldn't offer take-out pizzas. But my goodness, if you put tables in front of the register to collect money, what do you expect??? That we leave without paying??? And then these are ways of treating people like that guy who was humiliated by this character with the exact words "ALLLOR NE CAPIT CHE TE LUÀ ANANZ LIEVT A CA!!" Because by standing in front of the register we were blocking him... Then not to mention the exorbitant prices, not even if we were in America: 2 Margherita pizzas, sausage, broccoli rabe, 1 rustica, water and chips, 80 euros, practically a robbery! Finally, the gentleman at the cash register was also so kind that we asked if we could make separate bills since we had ordered different items, but he denied our request because, he said, we were causing him too much trouble. I hope this review helps someone understand that owning a restaurant doesn't mean treating customers poorly, especially for personal management errors that can't be blamed on customers, thus venting their anger with unacceptable behavior.

20/04/2026: We ordered a thick fillet steak that came with a delicious mashed potato, drizzled with onion and mushroom sauce. They had a good wine list and a wonderful mille-feuille dessert, very well made and decorated. We didn't have a reservation and were very well received. We were given an appetizer and other complimentary items. The price was fair for the quality of the dishes and the attentive service. We will return.

20/04/2026: Writing a review isn't easy, whether good or bad, but I think it's right because in both cases, there's only room for improvement. Today I had lunch with my wife, I think it was the fifth time so far. This time, I was a little disappointed to see how a fine dining establishment, unlike the many others in Amalfi, has transformed into a tourist restaurant (if I think about the three versions of mozzarella that used to be available), I'm frankly disappointed by what they offered today (a very soft fiord di latte knot on a bed of tomato salad). The shrimp risotto isn't the same. Again, I hate to be critical, but anyone who goes to Gemma in Amalfi is aware of their budget and the pleasure of the palate at a top restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly, and above all, very professional.

14/04/2026: A rustic yet well-maintained restaurant. Excellent value for money. We had pizza, an appetizer, and a main course, and everything was truly delicious, with generous portions. The appetizer platter deserves special mention, boasting a truly excellent selection of local products. Finally, we can't help but mention the courtesy of the staff, who, in addition to their attentive service, also offered us complimentary liqueurs at the end. A place definitely worth considering during a vacation in Cilento.

27/04/2026: Wonderful quaint place with gorgeous views and the sweetest people! We didn't schedule a tasting but when we showed up we were welcomed! Will definitely go back on a scheduled tasting. Such a pretty place! There is also a donkey, a goat and a couple of super sweet dogs to make you feel at home!

The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Damiano and his staff are very kind, professional, and always very friendly and welcoming. I've been frequenting Bubalus for years, and every visit is always a confirmation: an excellent experience from every perspective.

21/01/2026: Tucked away in the center of town, this small restaurant immediately stands out for its authentic hospitality. Peppe, the owner, was waiting for me. With great expertise, he showed me how to prepare the first courses, explaining the process behind each recipe. I had lunch with a masterful Genovese: the sauce enveloped the pasta perfectly, while the meat, expertly cooked for hours, melted in the mouth with the delicacy of freshly melted butter. A balance of flavors that celebrates Neapolitan tradition without frills, but with great respect for the ingredients. A place to keep in mind, to return to, and, above all, to recommend to those seeking authenticity.

We came by chance and then recommended it by a shop assistant, only to find out later that she was the owner's sister-in-law... we ate very well, quality food cooked to perfection!! The service and atmosphere were very pleasant, but unfortunately the fried fish was greasy and soft, below expectations. The first course was good, but it's a shame the appetizer and the fried fish were subpar.
