18/07/2025: A mixed experience: excellent restaurant, disappointing rooms We chose this hotel for our wedding, booking several rooms for ourselves and our guests, attracted by its convenient proximity to the venue. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially considering it's a 4-star property. The rooms are very dated, with issues both in cleanliness and functionality: some guests found ants in their rooms, others had difficulty opening the door, sometimes even having to ask reception for help. These issues created inconvenience on what was an important day for us, and we received numerous complaints from our guests. The restaurant, on the other hand, was a very positive note: the dishes were carefully prepared, well-presented, and tasted excellent. It truly elevated our experience. One small detail, however, left a bitter taste in our mouths: after paying in advance for 14 rooms, an aperitif, and a dinner for 30 people, at checkout we were asked to pay a supplement for a can of water to take a pill. An inelegant gesture, especially after such a significant investment. We certainly recommend the restaurant, but we hope the hotel will soon be updated to match the quality the property aspires to represent.

16/07/2025: My son's baptism ceremony and his first birthday were celebrated. With about 40 guests, everyone was delighted! Kudos to the staff for the room decor and to the kitchen for the buffet. We will gladly return.

06/07/2025: Reservation for 4 people. We arrive at the reservation time and are asked if we want to sit in the room (which should have already raised some suspicions since it was practically half empty at peak time on a Saturday night) or outside. We opt for the outside given the pleasantly cool evening. We sit down immediately and the good news ends there. We are given only one menu, because they had no others available, but the waitress reassured us by telling us that the menu was also on the website. From 9:30 pm when we sat down, we were able to order after 10:00 pm, as the waiters rarely went to the outside area, and everyone we asked: "can we order?" responded with: "I'll send my colleague right away". The colleague arrived after a good half hour. When it was time to order, we discovered that the menu on the website was actually old, and therefore some of the dishes listed there were not available. To avoid wasting any more time, we quickly chose something from the only paper menu available to us. Once we ordered, they brought the drinks: I asked for a second empty glass for the beer and the waitress answered me smugly: glass never arrived. About half an hour passed from the order and finally we saw the appetizers: for intellectual honesty I must say that they were good; nothing exceptional but good. From here on we began to see the internal room gradually emptying, with tables that arrived after us who ate and left, while we (and two other tables adjacent to us) were abandoned to our fate. Half an hour passed, 45 minutes passed and nothing, nothing arrived. The table next to ours, which had arrived even before us and was still waiting, threatened to leave, and after 10 minutes was (strangely) immediately served. I decided to get up too at this point and go ask for the bill, explaining that we had been waiting for more than an hour for some sandwiches. I was told that (coincidentally) they were the next ones to be cooked. 10 minutes after my complaint, the sandwiches arrived: cold, with almost raw hamburgers, with missing ingredients. The side potatoes were also cold. One of the diners had to wait another 10 minutes, because only 3 of the 4 dishes had arrived. At midnight we finally left this place, after a Saturday night spent literally waiting for a sandwich!!! I give the service 1 star because you can't give less. We will never return!!!

04/07/2025: Everything excellent, from the salty aperitif cone to the final rum, everything studied in the smallest details, the staff in the dining room were truly professional and classy, ​​the meat was cooked impeccably and of excellent quality. Giuseppe the owner is truly a man who puts effort and passion into every detail of his place. We will return as soon as possible.

02/06/2025: Excellent product.. obviously I'm talking about the mozzarella that only if you touch it sweats milk... I remind you that you should always take the larger size, it is similar but not the same as the bocconcini... After hours of eating it, your lips still have the buttery flavor of the buffalo mozzarella lady..

27/04/2025: I was really enthusiastic about Trattoria Il Rustico! The dishes are simply delicious, prepared with care. The traditional cuisine here is special: authentic flavors and generous portions that make you feel at home. The staff is very kind. An experience to definitely repeat!

14/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Sorrento. Very comfortable family room for 4, which had 2 balconies and 2 rooms separated by a sliding door. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and a reasonably large breakfast buffet selection - something for everyone. Relaxing wellness (purchased massages) and good size outdoor pool. Never too busy, and always found loungers. Great staff at the pool, a variety of drinks served and some food -mainly a lunch menu. Our room faced the street but we were never bothered by noise. Well insulated windows. The hotel and area was quiet, and far enough away from the center of town and the buzz of traffic and evening crowds. Yet only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Will recommended to family and friends, and would be very happy to return. Thanks for a memorable stay in Sorrento!

08/07/2025: We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in Sorrento at Hotel Central Wellness and wish we stayed longer. Located in a great position with restaurants and shops at your doorstep. It couldn't be in a better position. We drove to the hotel and we could pull up right out the front to check in and unpack our luggage. Parking was just a couple of metres behind the hotel so easy to access. The hotel staff at check-in and breakfast where absolutely amazing. The decor was gorgeous throughout the hotel. The hotel was super clean and so well looked after. Our room was perfect. Great size, fresh, clean, a cute verandah and beautiful new bathroom. The breakfast was great, lots of options and delicious sweet cakes and pastries. The pool was a great size, water temperature perfect and right amount of sun, shade and lounge beds and umbrellas. There is not one thing to fault with this hotel. We will be back.

22/06/2025: We were invited and ate very well, except that the bill was perhaps a little expensive and you had to leave the car with the keys inside for parking.

28/06/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overall very positive, with a few small aspects that could be improved – but nothing that would stop me from recommending it! 1. Location & Parking – The location itself isn’t the most ideal, but this is well compensated by the availability of parking, which is a huge advantage, especially considering how crowded the street can get in the evening. 2. Food – Absolutely excellent! As a big fan of Panna Cotta, I have to say this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. 3. Ambiance – We chose to sit on the terrace. While the view wasn't particularly impressive and the exterior design of the restaurant could definitely use some updating, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort. The interior has air conditioning, and the terrace is equipped with a massive fan that did a great job keeping the hot, humid air away – a thoughtful touch that really made a difference. 4. Prices – The pricing was more than fair, especially for the quality of the food and service. I can confidently recommend this place in terms of value for money. 5. Service – The staff was friendly and helpful throughout most of our visit. However, I would suggest they maintain the same respectful and welcoming attitude not only at the beginning but also when guests are leaving – small gestures can leave a lasting impression. All in all, a great dining experience that I’d definitely recommend, especially for food lovers looking for a quality meal at a reasonable price.

05/01/2025: Sono stata totalmente rapita da questo posticino piccolo ma pieno di amore e passione. Complimenti senza dubbio alla cucina: tutto quello che ho preso era ottimo, dalle bruschette con i moscardini alla grigliata mista, peraltro mai vista una grigliata così ricca da nessuna parte fino ad ora. Un abbraccio forte a Mamma Rosa che con la sua grinta gira per i tavoli e ti fa sentire come se fossi a cena dalla nonna!! Complimenti, tanti e di cuore. Tornerò senza ombra di dubbio.
