Excellent pizza, friendly and helpful staff!

EXCELLENT value for money! Delicious pizzas, cooked to perfection and made with high-quality ingredients. The fried foods were crispy and delicious, a real shame we didn't order more (we had pizzas waiting for us). The service was fast and friendly. A place that won us over, we'll be back soon to try the pasta dishes.

Rustic but clean atmosphere. Good food. Friendly and uninhibited staff, but poorly trained. What we ate was excellent, especially the pizza and cold cuts.

Near the Palazzo Ducale, in the historic center of San Martino Valle Caudina, we found "La Duchessa" a welcoming and professional restaurant. The dishes are meticulously presented, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are top-quality. I recommend the fusilli alla duchessa, with Norcia sausage and porcini mushrooms—truly flavorful. Among the pizzas, we tried the one with nduja sauce, crostini, and Colonnata lard: exquisite. The desserts, made by a local pastry shop, are also delicious. The wait staff, led by the excellent Zaira, are impeccable. The quality/price ratio is excellent.
