05/12/2025: Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

18/04/2026: I think it's practically impossible to write a negative review about this place. I've been coming here about every three or four months now and have never encountered anything less than impeccable service. Starting with the owner, who is incredibly kind and polite, the place is small, very quiet, and exudes a truly serene atmosphere. ALL the food is excellent and locally sourced. The pasta is made fresh that morning and all the dishes are cooked to order. The antipasto is exceptional; I probably ate the best salami I've ever eaten. The value for money is excellent, in fact, at times even too low for the experience. (The non-alcoholic entrée is a little gem, original and well-crafted.)

16/06/2026: Hidden gem in positano! Beautiful view and beach, right next to the main port away from the crowds. The walk to the hotel is beautiful!

15/06/2026: Extremely clean rooms that are cleaned every day amazing food. It’s located on the beach to the side of main Positano, which makes it a wonderful atmosphere!

03/06/2026: I returned after a year and honestly, it must have been a bad day! The previous year we ate very well, so much so that I recommended it to friends or relatives visiting the sanctuary to stop there for lunch because we really ate too well! Now I found everything unpleasant, from the meat to the pasta, which was then listed as fusilli in tegame but on arrival was gnocchi, the wine which was almost vinegary, the appetizer excellent, dairy products and quality cured meats, the fast service, the location, but for the rest, very, very disappointed. I still hope it was a bad day that can happen and has not become the norm, because I still remember with pleasure and above all surprise, being a tourist menu, the quality of the food (everything) from last year. In any case, I will try again to confirm or deny my review on my next visit.

30/05/2026: I celebrated my graduation here in March, and I must say it was a perfect experience down to the last detail. From the lunch to the room decor, everything was taken care of with great attention. We truly felt at home. I'm very pleased with having chosen Angolo Verde to celebrate such an important milestone. I'll definitely be back!

16/05/2026: Truly excellent food, carefully prepared dishes, and acceptable service. The only negative: I was served a dish labeled 'baccalà alla Lucariello,' but the fish didn't taste like cod fillet at all. It's a shame about this lack of transparency, because the overall quality of the cuisine deserves better.

11/05/2026: An unacceptable experience and total disorganization. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, which I had fond memories of, since I wasn't even given the opportunity to sit down. Despite having made a reservation on Wednesday, May 6th, for Sunday, May 10th, Mother's Day, we were left waiting for over an hour and ten minutes. On my second attempt to make a reservation within the time limit, I was offered the "tavern," a place my father couldn't comfortably access due to his mobility issues. It's inconceivable that a restaurant would accept reservations if it can't manage the flow of customers or respect their schedules. After 70 minutes of fruitless waiting and total indifference from the staff, who, instead of seating us, kept offering us a welcome "spumante" (which we obviously didn't accept), we decided to give up and go eat elsewhere. Poor management, lack of professionalism, and total disregard for other people's time. We wanted to celebrate a family anniversary, but it all turned out to be a nightmare. I'm so sorry, because the quality of the food is worth a visit, but if you're looking for a place where reservations are worthwhile, look elsewhere. It's an experience you'll never repeat.

Special thanks to Stefano, who looked after us with great professionalism and courtesy throughout the dinner. He explained every course in detail, offering excellent advice and always making us feel looked after and at ease. The service was attentive and impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

02/06/2026: We had dinner with friends and a young daughter. The location and outdoor atmosphere were very beautiful. A high chair was available, which was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although there were some areas for improvement (uncertainty about the ingredients in some dishes, and the young daughter was served without a glass or cutlery). The food was quality, especially the meat, with a varied selection and well-presented by the staff. The wines were excellent, with a wide selection. My only suggestion for improvement, as this is a leading restaurant for quality meat, is to show the customer the cut of the chosen meat before cooking, including a printed weight, as I've experienced and appreciated at other restaurants. Recommended for those looking for quality meat in an exclusive setting, which is also suitable for dining with children. I will gladly return.
