19/09/2025: Gem of a restaurant! Probably the best meal we have enjoyed in Ischia and definitely the least expensive. If you want authentic Italian food prepared and served in a family-run restaurant, this is it! Plus it is close to a sandy beach. The lemon linguini, prawn risotto and zucchini flowers with ricotta were very special dishes. Six stars!!!!

12/11/2025: Excellent food. This place had a few more meat options, which was a nice surprise. Everything we had was wonderful. Service was great, friendly and restaurant clientele was also super friendly. Definitely would recommend to others. We had T-bone steak and lamb chops.

10/11/2025: Wandering along Corso Italia trying to decide among the numerous eateries, I was attracted by the cute signs (in English) on some tables, my fave being "If you're in a hurry, you're in the wrong place." My dining philosophy exactly. I had gnocchi all sorrentina and a glass of red table wine. The portion of wine was, as another sign said, generous. The wine - a Primitivo di Manduria - was outstanding: velvety smooth, warm, full-bodied. The gnocchi was 'divino'. The staff (and Nino) were so nice I felt like I was eating dinner at a friend's house - but none of my friends could possibly make such good food. So good that I dined there every day of my 5 days in Sorrento, except, sadly, their day off. I had the gnocchi again, also the cannelloni al forno and the tiramisu. Mangiare in paradiso! I solved the queue problem by moving my dinner hour to 5 pm, just before they start to fill up. This was my first stay in Sorrento, and I have many good memories, but what I will miss most is my meals at Taverna Azz!

We recently celebrated a family gathering for 15 people before my son’s wedding, and Nico and his incredible staff absolutely outdid themselves. The food was exceptional — every course was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of joy; everyone enjoyed every single minute of being there. I’ve known Nico for over 20 years, and he continues to be the best manager of any restaurant we’ve visited in Florence. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail make every experience at Osteria dell’Olio special. He and his team made our entire group feel so welcome and cared for. Beyond the amazing food, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Nico himself. He does his job with his whole heart, and it shows in every interaction. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness turned a wonderful meal into a night we will never forget. ❤️ This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. 31/10/2025: Excellent first courses: calamarata with broccoli and clams, or mussels and friggitelli. The sea bass is delicious, as are the very fresh fried anchovies, and the flag fish stuffed with escalope, pine nuts, and raisins. Highly recommended for enjoying typical dishes of the Amalfi Coast. 09/11/2025: A hidden spot in the heart of the Langhe, its location means it's not crowded with tourists. Authentic. Genuine. Comfortable. The tables and location give you a homey feel. Equally authentic food. Typical grandmother's dishes. Decent portions. Excellent prices. Exceptional quality. Menu of the day for €35 with 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert. Everything delicious. The starter tartare was fantastic.

22/10/2025: Simple but very welcoming atmosphere, a view of the Langhe, good wine, and delicious traditional Piedmontese food with a modern twist. The Fassona tartare, the Russian salad, and the veal with tuna sauce are excellent, as are the ravioli al vin (wine ravioli), and the Langa Milanese (the others are too, but these are my favorites!). The owner is always kind and helpful. I recommend calling and making a reservation, even if you're a couple: even though it's in a small town, it's very popular. It's a place worth discovering!

29/09/2025: A family-run inn with just a few tables, located in the Sala district of Caserta. The food is excellent, and the chef is talented. The appetizers are varied and high-quality, as are the first, second, and desserts. I recommend it because the food is both good and affordable. There's no à la carte menu; the chef decides. You must reserve a table to choose between seafood or meat, and the chef, based on the fresh produce he finds there, cooks delicious dishes. I highly recommend it.
