10/09/2025: We came here for dinner tonight and was excellent. We were greeted with kindness and the service was great! We ordered the Ragu and it tasted amazing, and the bread with olive oil was a great touch. Also recommended local wine and was very tasty (my first ever red wine). We've came from Scotland and wanted to find a nice, local small Italian restaurant and did not disappoint. Would highly recommend to all. Grazie!

09/11/2025: A welcoming, American-style place. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the sandwiches are not only quite large and filling (I'm a big eater, but I almost couldn't finish one), but they're also very tasty. In my opinion, one of the best sandwich shops in Avellino.

09/11/2025: A hidden spot in the heart of the Langhe, its location means it's not crowded with tourists. Authentic. Genuine. Comfortable. The tables and location give you a homey feel. Equally authentic food. Typical grandmother's dishes. Decent portions. Excellent prices. Exceptional quality. Menu of the day for €35 with 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert. Everything delicious. The starter tartare was fantastic.

22/10/2025: Simple but very welcoming atmosphere, a view of the Langhe, good wine, and delicious traditional Piedmontese food with a modern twist. The Fassona tartare, the Russian salad, and the veal with tuna sauce are excellent, as are the ravioli al vin (wine ravioli), and the Langa Milanese (the others are too, but these are my favorites!). The owner is always kind and helpful. I recommend calling and making a reservation, even if you're a couple: even though it's in a small town, it's very popular. It's a place worth discovering!

29/09/2025: A family-run inn with just a few tables, located in the Sala district of Caserta. The food is excellent, and the chef is talented. The appetizers are varied and high-quality, as are the first, second, and desserts. I recommend it because the food is both good and affordable. There's no à la carte menu; the chef decides. You must reserve a table to choose between seafood or meat, and the chef, based on the fresh produce he finds there, cooks delicious dishes. I highly recommend it.

31/10/2025: Excellent first courses: calamarata with broccoli and clams, or mussels and friggitelli. The sea bass is delicious, as are the very fresh fried anchovies, and the flag fish stuffed with escalope, pine nuts, and raisins. Highly recommended for enjoying typical dishes of the Amalfi Coast. 25/10/2025: Espresso at the counter was good. The takeaway cappuccino was a bit pricey at €3.

30/10/2025: A real tourist trap! The menu is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Everything was poorly cooked — the fish was dry, the risotto far from what a proper risotto should be, and the pasta equally disappointing. Yes, the location is convenient on the Amalfi road, with a charming terrace surrounded by lemon trees and a pleasant view — but that’s about it. Such careless cooking and disregard for food make a disservice to the many excellent restaurants in the area. Definitely not worth the prices they charge.

25/10/2025: Truly excellent restaurant, excellent cuisine, friendly and sociable staff, equally excellent service from friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it.

04/10/2025: We went for lunch today, two adults and two children. Starting with the staff... everyone was accommodating, friendly, and extremely polite! The staff perfectly reflects the talents of Enzo, the owner, and his son Andrea! Everything we ate was delicious! Generous portions! The tiramisu in the Moka pot was a real treat! The prices were excellent. Wonderful experience! As Neapolitans, we'll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: Bad service . Clasical Tourist trap. Took them forever with order in merely empty place. Antipaste was terrible absolute worst. Steak was decent. Fruit de mar pasta under average 2/5.

12/11/2025: Excellent food. This place had a few more meat options, which was a nice surprise. Everything we had was wonderful. Service was great, friendly and restaurant clientele was also super friendly. Definitely would recommend to others. We had T-bone steak and lamb chops.

10/11/2025: Wandering along Corso Italia trying to decide among the numerous eateries, I was attracted by the cute signs (in English) on some tables, my fave being "If you're in a hurry, you're in the wrong place." My dining philosophy exactly. I had gnocchi all sorrentina and a glass of red table wine. The portion of wine was, as another sign said, generous. The wine - a Primitivo di Manduria - was outstanding: velvety smooth, warm, full-bodied. The gnocchi was 'divino'. The staff (and Nino) were so nice I felt like I was eating dinner at a friend's house - but none of my friends could possibly make such good food. So good that I dined there every day of my 5 days in Sorrento, except, sadly, their day off. I had the gnocchi again, also the cannelloni al forno and the tiramisu. Mangiare in paradiso! I solved the queue problem by moving my dinner hour to 5 pm, just before they start to fill up. This was my first stay in Sorrento, and I have many good memories, but what I will miss most is my meals at Taverna Azz!

22/10/2025: Michelin star restaurant so has a high bar and it did not disappoint. Extensive wine list, impeccable service, and steller dishes. Amuse bouche to start, great bread basket, appetizers were on point and main dishes were very flavorful and surprisingly not overly petite. Small dessert tray and lemoncello shots to end the night. They have several different dining options and we were recommended the patio which is BEAUTIFUL. However, we were seated at the end of the patio and did not know it is also a public walkway. We had people walking past us looking at us and our food throughout the night which was a little awkward and tiring. If you sit outside, make sure to not get seated on the end by the corner.

21/10/2025: From the moment we stepped in, the host welcomed us with such warmth; I instantly felt at home. Then came Chef Pepe kind, humble, and full of heart. He said, “Tell me what you feel like eating ; even if it’s not on the menu, I’ll make it for you.” It wasn’t just dinner; it was pure emotion. I felt like a child again; sitting in my grandfather’s kitchen; surrounded by love, comfort, and the scent of something wonderful being made just for me. Each plate was a masterpiece; crafted with passion, precision, and soul. Every flavor told a story, every bite carried warmth. The waiter’s kindness completed the experience; it felt like family, gathered around the table after years apart. Il Buco isn’t just a restaurant; it’s home, heart, and passion served on a plate, a place where food becomes art, and emotion becomes flavor.
