Tan pronto como entramos, el chef se presentó inmediatamente como el propietario, explicó lo que había en el menú y cómo enfocaba su cocina, ingredientes simples y de calidad. 27/10/2025: The food is okay but the price is way too overpriced. The view is great, but remember, there are many other restaurants with great views and even better prices. My request has been ignored twice, and when I brought that up, the manager literally said that I should have complained about that at least three times, and should visit one of the Michelin-starred restaurants. Please, please, please, don’t trust all the positive reviews on google, cuz you might experience something different, and don’t take a risk with your precious vacation.

We recently celebrated a family gathering for 15 people before my son’s wedding, and Nico and his incredible staff absolutely outdid themselves. The food was exceptional — every course was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of joy; everyone enjoyed every single minute of being there. I’ve known Nico for over 20 years, and he continues to be the best manager of any restaurant we’ve visited in Florence. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail make every experience at Osteria dell’Olio special. He and his team made our entire group feel so welcome and cared for. Beyond the amazing food, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Nico himself. He does his job with his whole heart, and it shows in every interaction. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness turned a wonderful meal into a night we will never forget. ❤️ This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. My family and I will always return whenever we visit Florence — it truly feels like home thanks to Nico and his outstanding team. 12/11/2025: Excellent food. This place had a few more meat options, which was a nice surprise. Everything we had was wonderful. Service was great, friendly and restaurant clientele was also super friendly. Definitely would recommend to others. We had T-bone steak and lamb chops.

10/11/2025: Wandering along Corso Italia trying to decide among the numerous eateries, I was attracted by the cute signs (in English) on some tables, my fave being "If you're in a hurry, you're in the wrong place." My dining philosophy exactly. I had gnocchi all sorrentina and a glass of red table wine. The portion of wine was, as another sign said, generous. The wine - a Primitivo di Manduria - was outstanding: velvety smooth, warm, full-bodied. The gnocchi was 'divino'. The staff (and Nino) were so nice I felt like I was eating dinner at a friend's house - but none of my friends could possibly make such good food. So good that I dined there every day of my 5 days in Sorrento, except, sadly, their day off. I had the gnocchi again, also the cannelloni al forno and the tiramisu. Mangiare in paradiso! I solved the queue problem by moving my dinner hour to 5 pm, just before they start to fill up. This was my first stay in Sorrento, and I have many good memories, but what I will miss most is my meals at Taverna Azz!

29/09/2025: A family-run inn with just a few tables, located in the Sala district of Caserta. The food is excellent, and the chef is talented. The appetizers are varied and high-quality, as are the first, second, and desserts. I recommend it because the food is both good and affordable. There's no à la carte menu; the chef decides. You must reserve a table to choose between seafood or meat, and the chef, based on the fresh produce he finds there, cooks delicious dishes. I highly recommend it.

04/10/2025: Bad service . Clasical Tourist trap. Took them forever with order in merely empty place. Antipaste was terrible absolute worst. Steak was decent. Fruit de mar pasta under average 2/5.

04/10/2025: We went for lunch today, two adults and two children. Starting with the staff... everyone was accommodating, friendly, and extremely polite! The staff perfectly reflects the talents of Enzo, the owner, and his son Andrea! Everything we ate was delicious! Generous portions! The tiramisu in the Moka pot was a real treat! The prices were excellent. Wonderful experience! As Neapolitans, we'll definitely be back!

22/10/2025: Michelin star restaurant so has a high bar and it did not disappoint. Extensive wine list, impeccable service, and steller dishes. Amuse bouche to start, great bread basket, appetizers were on point and main dishes were very flavorful and surprisingly not overly petite. Small dessert tray and lemoncello shots to end the night. They have several different dining options and we were recommended the patio which is BEAUTIFUL. However, we were seated at the end of the patio and did not know it is also a public walkway. We had people walking past us looking at us and our food throughout the night which was a little awkward and tiring. If you sit outside, make sure to not get seated on the end by the corner.

He said, “Tell me what you feel like eating ; even if it’s not on the menu, I’ll make it for you.” It wasn’t just dinner; it was pure emotion. I felt like a child again; sitting in my grandfather’s kitchen; surrounded by love, comfort, and the scent of something wonderful being made just for me. Each plate was a masterpiece; crafted with passion, precision, and soul. Every flavor told a story, every bite carried warmth. The waiter’s kindness completed the experience; it felt like family, gathered around the table after years apart. Il Buco isn’t just a restaurant; it’s home, heart, and passion served on a plate, a place where food becomes art, and emotion becomes flavor.
