09/05/2026: I discovered this place almost by chance, but it turned out to be an absolutely perfect choice. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful design conveyed a pleasant sense of attention to detail, further confirmed by the impeccable service: the staff was professional, attentive, and always friendly. ​The real star, however, was the cuisine. The use of the highest-quality ingredients, handled with skill and passion, was evident; each course arrived perfectly cooked, with balanced flavors and inviting presentation. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between the freshness of the ingredients and the execution technique. ​Everything was offered at a fair price, well-proportioned to the quality of the food. It was an extremely positive experience that I can recommend without hesitation. I will definitely return to explore the menu further.

25/07/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. We ordered an appetizer, a first course, and a bottle of wine from Mrs. Anna. She forgot the bottle, and we had to ask another waiter for it after 10 minutes. The appetizer arrived twice, the wrong one, and on the third occasion, Mrs. Anna came over to rudely explain that we had ordered that one. I explained that wasn't the case, but she insisted I was remembering incorrectly. In the end, to avoid a fight in the middle of the restaurant, I kept the appetizer she wanted, a mixed seafood appetizer with smoked salmon (I imagine locally sourced...), rubbery octopus, shrimp, and fried anchovies—perhaps the octopus was a local product, but it was still very poorly cooked. Now, aside from the 1980s-style appetizer with a mishmash of ingredients, it's shameful that a restaurateur would dare use such a tone and, rather than admit her mistake, insist on convincing me that I was wrong. Even if that were the case (and it isn't), you can cash in and bring me the appetizer I wanted—the customer is always right. Aside from the incident, the location is beautiful, on the seafront overlooking a quiet beach with a beautiful sunset view. The prices are outrageous, especially considering the menu includes so many frozen products and only fresh mussels and clams—there are no fresh fish options for the main course, which is a bit embarrassing for a restaurant overlooking the sea. The appetizer was inadequate, as mentioned above, and served in such a large portion that it left us hungry for the main course. I wouldn't recommend it.

12/07/2026: The service wasn't the best, and the food was truly disappointing, completely out of line with the price. The bun wasn't fresh and was hard, while the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted: it simply tasted like a block of cheddar slapped on top. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Osteria dei Sapori is located in a quaint alleyway in Salerno, completely decorated with fairy lights and adorned with splendid murals depicting Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. An authentic, evocative, and truly special atmosphere. But the real star is the fish. Real, fresh, just-caught fish, and you can taste it from the first bite. You can see it, you can taste it, and above all, you can taste it. Inside, you can almost "experience" the kitchen, with the fire cooking the catch and bringing it directly to your plate. And that's where the magic lies: don't come expecting elaborate dishes or haute cuisine. The beauty of this place is its simplicity. Freshly caught fish, well-cooked, and served as is, letting the ingredients do the talking. A genuine, authentic, and unfussy experience, just as it should be when you eat real fish. Rating: 10/10. If you're in Salerno and you love fish, this is a place you absolutely must try. ❤️

29/06/2026: We were passing through Ariano Irpino, one of the very few places open on Mondays for lunch. We ate very well, and were even offered a welcome entree. The service was excellent and attentive, and there was plenty of water. The bill was very fair. We'll definitely be returning.

It was the perfect location to tell our long-distance love story and the bond of our wonderful extended family. Samuel, Alessandro, and Cinzia guided us step by step through every detail to make our dream come true. They were three angels come down to earth, true professionals, and they paid attention to every detail. Villa Samuel is an enchanting, magical place. Our ceremony was a bit out of the ordinary. On the wedding day, a powerful energy of love was created. Before reaching my groom, I kissed the ground in the aisle. It was a gesture of thanks to Mother Earth and the wonderful nature that surrounds you at Villa Samuel. We couldn't have chosen a better place to "get married with our four children" and to further unite this wonderful extended family by giving each of them a ring that represents infinity. 14/07/2026: Known for rabbit, so we tried that. Very dry - and have tried rabbit before. Pasta and sauce very oily to the not delicious side. Anti pasti delicious: crocchette and bruschetta. Sweet and very local.

23/07/2026: We stopped at this osteria upon exiting the highway. The family atmosphere was palpable as soon as we arrived, and it was confirmed as soon as we started eating. The pasta allo scarpariello and abbacchio al peperone crusco were superb. They offered us some spectacular truffle cheese. The kindness of the waiters was a pleasant accompaniment. Highly recommended!
