04/11/2024: Three weeks ago, my wife and I celebrated at this most incredible of venues. 'Perfect' has been used to describe the reception our guests received - with many stating that this was the most magical and wondrous wedding that they had ever been to - and will ever attend. Everything about Le Trabe is phenomenal - the Michelin-starred foods; the service, the people - simply the most wonderful place that we could have chosen. My wife and I met at a summer festival in the paradisal village of Trentinara, in the mountains above the venue. Our mutual friend and genius, Domenico Monaco (a local celebrity) was amongst our witnesses as we celebrated in the what I feel is the best place on Earth: Cilento. My wife stems from another nearby village, Altavilla, and for this reason, we were determined to wed in the heartlands of where our hearts were destined to be joined. Rafaelle, Simone, Federica, Concetta - and another of Trentinara's finest, Angela; Cristian - everybody, at every level at this beautiful venue went above and beyond to give us the day that my sensationally amazing wife deserved. Earnestly, I cannot give any prospective guests better advice than to book in here: whether for dining in the achingly desirable restaurant or to enjoy your own special day; Le Trabe will remain in your hearts forever.

24/12/2024: Great culinary experience, I am very fond of the spaghetti with purpetiello but, not to forget the pasta and potatoes, Genoese and the excellent pizzas. Attentive and courteous service to customers. Ad maiora.

26/11/2024: I went to Viva Lo Re for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Golden Mile, with its Vesuvian villas such as Villa Campolieto, is always worth a visit: it is a unique place that combines history, art and breathtaking landscapes. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with an intimate atmosphere and cheerful, attentive staff. The furnishings are meticulous in detail, as is the service, which is always courteous and helpful. The wine list is extensive, with a selection that highlights local products: excellent and more than honestly priced. I started with the “Lo Re” appetizer, an experience that varies every time. In my case, it included five tastings of sea and land, all well balanced and tasty. I then continued with a simple but surprising first course: a garlic and oil enriched with a parmesan fondue, perfectly executed. A lunch that was able to combine authentic flavors and great attention to detail. I will definitely come back.

02/01/2025: Place located near the cathedral. Family and welcoming environment. We had fish dishes for dinner. All delicious and tasty, abundant and well prepared dishes, with quality products. Honest prices. Advised!!!!

With my wife we ​​tried the fish dishes, but we saw some inviting pizzas. The dishes were plentiful and delicious. Each dish is prepared with quality raw materials. Excellent value for money. 07/12/2024: I have been a guest at this place several times and every time the experience has been truly satisfying, in every aspect. The place is quiet, welcoming and the staff does everything to make you feel at ease - Nicola, in particular, livened up the evenings pleasantly - and is always available. The food is excellent, the portions generous but elegantly presented. I also did a wine tasting with a sommelier from Piedmont and found the experience really interesting. I will definitely return and it is a restaurant that I recommend to both families and young people

21/12/2024: Easily our favorite place in Salerno. Incredible Michelin quality restaurant. Cozy environment where you can see the entire kitchen work, are offered dishes that change daily, and are given high quality service. Gigi is a fantastic kind man who runs a great restaurant and is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating.

15/12/2024: We ate in this restaurant last night, apart from the culinary experience being in line with expectations, unfortunately we were charged for the first courses not consumed and the wine not drunk. It was our mistake not to check the bill immediately but in the rush to leave the table free we forgot about it!

Let's start from the location, welcoming, rustic but above all elegant, the service no less super kind and ready to welcome you and guide you towards what you want. The food is absolutely genuine, you can feel the quality and the flavors envelop you with the passion that goes into the preparation. The desserts made by them are the final fairytale twist. I highly recommend it and we will absolutely return.

14/08/2024: Super. We had a great time. Very kind and helpful staff for every need. They even accompanied us to Minori to give us the opportunity to have a nice walk. Private beach parking....everything beautiful. We will definitely be back. A special thanks to Mr. Luigi :))

Practically we are offered everything you could want from a holiday! Rest, excellent cuisine with unique flavours, friendliness and kindness, dream rooms.... The private beach with swimming pool and facilities suitable for disabled people.... Managed by highly qualified staff and the refined kindness of its owner....Thank you Luigi!........This year too we were guests of you and I brought not only my parents but also my daughter who was reborn and we will return with friends next year....reason???? She had a lot of fun!!!! You Luigi are an extraordinary owner, you put yourself out there every day and do your job with love and enthusiasm. I remember your greeting when we left....you told us "I want to make you feel good". Thank you again and see you next time! P.S. We always return to San Francesco! In fact we are back again for summer 2024! Every year more and more beautiful, now we feel like family with you Luigi and with all your fantastic staff....Every year we add an extra day, because it is increasingly difficult to leave San Francesco. 11/12/2024: Superlative pizza, without excluding all the other dishes. A lot of care and attention was paid to the choice of raw materials; you can feel it at the table. You just can't give up Angela's desserts, even when you have a full belly. They are fantastic, both in taste and in presentation. The staff is very kind and professional. The venue is intimate and welcoming. Good assortment of wines. Excellent quality/price ratio. For anyone who wants to enjoy truly good pizza, I strongly recommend it.

01/10/2024: We have dinner with pizza, mozzarella, anchovies, dried tomatoes, mixed fried food, focaccia, 1\2 liter of falanghina, medium beer, everything is good, especially the pizza.

10/12/2024: Solid hotel restaurant. A bit expensive but the food is better than average. The octopus carpaccio (pictured) was quite interesting, although could use a bit more finesse/some sauce/dressing to enhance the flavor. The lupini beans were excellent; I just wish there were more of them! The red shrimp risotto was a bit too firm when served but halfway through the rice softened and it was perfect. We do not recommend the desserts.

10/12/2024: Otros planes no funcionaron, así que decidí probar el restaurante en nuestro hotel. ¡Fue una buena elección! Mozzarella de excelente calidad para empezar, luego un excelente risotto de camarones rojos y un buen plato de pulpo. Pedí una copa de vino que parecía haber estado abierta demasiado tiempo. El camarero estaba feliz de abrir una botella nueva, y era mucho mejor. Los postres fueron la única decepción. Parecían hechas con mucha antelación y no eran inspiradoras. Era bastante caro para Nápoles.
