31/03/2025: We were passing through for one night, and our friend Peppe recommended this really good place to us! Especially the pasta mixed with provola and potatoes, and the meatballs with meat sauce. I highly recommend it

29/03/2025: Hello everyone. You could say that the atmosphere is that of a tavern, but there is also a hint of modernity that makes the environment exclusive. The menu contains the right choice between appetizers, first courses, second courses etc etc so don't waste time choosing. I tried a cod with sauce and olives that was a delicacy, tasting with a good red wine. Definitely worth returning for other tastings.

11/03/2025: It's the first time I've been to this pizzeria but I have to say I'm thrilled. Excellent products both as Italian frying and for first courses and pizza. I would say the price is below average as we take the fried food, the pizza, even 2 fillings, water and beer we paid €14 per person, large, to be recommended and tried, don't forget to book giving a certain time but even without a reservation, if there aren't many of you it certainly won't send you back 👍

05/04/2025: This was the best dining experience that I have ever had in my life! Will think about this place every time Italy comes to mind. It is now 3 months later, and it has never left my heart. Although the food was amazing, the main reason for its memorability was Mariano and his family. This is a family owned Osteria, and along with his father and his son, welcomed us into his family that night. I have never felt so welcomed anywhere. They are some of the nicest people, and even served us true neapolitan limoncello! Also, the atmosphere of the small restaurant makes the entire experience very authentic. Our meal was even stopped by a Catholic parade, truly a beautiful emersion into the culture. I could not recommend it more to everyone who visits not only Chaia, but all of Napoli! To Mariano, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

22/03/2025: A circa 4 km dal Casello di Vallata, in una stradina all'ingresso del paesino di Scampitella, si trova questa sorprendente osteria. Ambiente spazioso, confortevole, caldo e accogliente. Siamo stati simpaticamente ricevuti dal proprietario che ci ha attentamente seguito e consigliato durante il pranzo. Abbiamo gustato svariati antipasti tra cui peperoni ripieni, frittata con formaggi locali, peperoni fritti,finocchi al forno, zuppa di fagioli con funghi porcini, cicorielle campestri saltate in padella, vellutata di zucca con mandorle affettate e scagliette di parmigiano, asparagi con pomodorini e aceto balsamico e qui ci siamo fermati nonostante ci fosse tantissimo ancora da assaggiare. Come primo abbiamo ordinato delle ottime tagliatelle ai funghi porcini (locali ma surgelati) e degli eccellenti spaghettoni allo scarpariello. Per dolce un sublime flan al cioccolato, della casa, riscaldato nel caminetto, servito con panna e fragole. Prodotti di qualità a km zero. Tutto veramente eccellente. Servizio, attento e veloce. Prezzi onestissimi. Complimenti. L'Osteria dei Briganti d' ora in poi sarà tappa culinaria obbligata in occasione dei nostri viaggi in A16. Consigliatissimo.

What is most striking is the excellent value for money with the highest quality ingredients and a very light pizza dough which makes even the richest pizza super digestible.. Perfect cooking.. what can I say, we will be back very soon.

20/03/2025: Cramped place on the ground floor, then they put us under the stairs because we couldn't go to the pine tree upstairs with an elderly person. Mediocre food on Sunday fixed menu. My son only ate the first course. Luckily there was the carnival lasagna. Four mini portions. Last but worst of all four little pieces of dessert almost a leftover from the week. Ricotta and chocolate. Left there. I have always been wary of restaurant delis.

05/03/2025: The dishes are extremely skillfully prepared with delicate and delicious flavors. The owner is warm and attentive. The whole restaurant exudes a very unique, very Italian atmosphere. I hope to have the opportunity to come back here to enjoy other dishes of the restaurant.
