25/04/2026: I had lunch at Monnalisa Arenoso in Varcaturo and had a really good time—a pleasant surprise! Excellent value thanks to the set menu, with generous and tasty dishes. We paid €25 per person for a meat-based menu with a variety of appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, coffee, and unlimited drinks included. It's hard to eat it all, and the quality of the food is excellent, impeccably prepared and served. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. It's family-run, so they care deeply about customer service. The parking is also convenient, a huge plus. I'll definitely be back!

16/05/2026: Dishes of average quality and execution: lemon linguine drowned in cream, immediately sent back and opted for grilled vegetables. There are definitely better options in Anacapri. €22 per person for a decidedly mediocre lunch.

13/05/2026: The staff is extremely kind and cheerful (a nice smile never hurts). The food is very good, despite being a restaurant that caters primarily to tourist groups, and is served at just the right pace, neither too slow nor too fast. The restaurant is located on a beautiful promenade in Anacapri; it doesn't have a view, but the alley is quaint. The price is reasonable.

02/06/2026: I stopped in at this trattoria to try the "scarpariello" and I have to say it exceeded my expectations; the pan-fried anchovies and the pizza were also delicious. What's even better is the location beneath Trajan's Arch, where you can feel the historic atmosphere of Benevento. Prices are average; reservations are recommended.

13/05/2026: Excellent experience at Traiano. Perfect location just a few meters from Trajan's Arch, one of Benevento's most important monuments. Warm welcome. Kind and professional staff. Excellent food, especially the Genovese and Scarpariello. Delicious meat dishes, with a wide selection of side dishes. Everything was delicious. Recommended.

12/06/2026: Tourist trap food. Greasy pasta. Our caprese salad had rubbery cheese not even my kid would eat. There was a big hair in one dish. Flies buzzing about no fans or citronella. Not good.

03/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. The only good thing was the platter; everything else was terrible. We ordered two first courses, and after over a half-hour wait, the pasta arrived completely raw and inedible. We sent them back to have them remade, but they came back exactly the same: still raw, so much so that the pasta stuck between our teeth. So we left everything on our plate. When it came time to get the bill, the person behind the counter, presumably the manager, didn't even apologize for what happened. No attention to the customer, no gesture to make amends, just a completely useless €2 discount. Furthermore, we were presented with an incorrect bill, with items we never ordered, charging us about €6 more. We realized this later and had to return. A negative experience from every perspective. We won't be returning.

18/04/2026: A delightful place. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, peace, tranquility, and serenity are within reach. Hiking opportunities through characteristic landscapes offer an immersive experience of contact with nature and animals, including goats, sheep, and docile horses. The establishment offers a remarkable set menu, offering excellent value. The ravioli with cream of mushrooms and truffles is highly recommended—a dish I'll never forget. Not to mention the tiramisu, the icing on the cake of a mystical journey of flavors. Alas, the only downside was the "grigliata," a single slice of roast pork. It wasn't bad, mind you, but it didn't match the high quality of the other dishes, but overall, it wasn't bad. I highly recommend this experience.

23/04/2026: Wow, wow, wow!!! This is the mother of all ice cream (gelato)!! We visited Valestra following a recommendation from a local Sorrento tour guide (best place for ice cream in Sorrento), and it didn't disappoint! We went for the large tub and a mix of scoops - the pistachio, chocolate and rum, and kinder bueno are all to die for. Absolutely heavenly, great value for money, a must visit, and highly recommend!

10/06/2026: We had a meal & gelato at Bougainvillea in Sorrento! The service was excellent and the food was great too. Most people have gelato, but we were pleasantly surprised at the extensive food menu too. The gelato was delicious of course, with so many flavours to choose from. The staff were really helpful and friendly so we would highly recommend and definitely visit again ! 👍😉

30/05/2026: Simply exceptional gelato! You can taste the high-quality fresh ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship from the first bite. The creamy flavors are rich and velvety, while the fruit flavors are so fresh, it feels like you're biting into the actual fruit. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The place is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended.

24/04/2026: We basically stumbled upon it on Saturday evening. We had a truly wonderful appetizer: ham, coppa, salami, cheese, and mozzarella. I was truly satisfied with the quality. The first courses were truly excellent. But what really pleased me most was the lamb. The hospitality was second to none. We really want to thank the very friendly staff.
