05/12/2025: We're only in Pozzuoli for a week, but we've already been to Massimo's three times. Whether it's pasta or, as we did today, pizza, it's always worth a visit.
As usual, I couldn't decide what I wanted on my pizza, so I only chose one half and let him surprise me with the other.
Raffaele, the pizza maker, topped it perfectly.
Many thanks to you (Raffaele) and the whole Massimo team; we felt very welcome and will gladly recommend you.

Yesterday's Pizza Vesuvio was very generously topped.
My wife's Pasta Siciliana was good.
Overall, certainly fine. However, since we cook a lot with spices ourselves, we missed that a bit.
Today I ordered pasta and simply mentioned my preferences, even though they weren't on the menu.
Again very tasty, and the portion was definitely sufficient.
Absolutely no problem at all. My wife had Gnocchi alla Sorrentina today; she was thrilled, the seasoning was perfect, and the gnocchi had the perfect firmness.
In addition, after every meal, we received either a complimentary espresso or a Limoncello.

16/11/2025: Unfortunately the place is completely disorganised. The guy that was serving could not communicate with the owners and therefore the reservations were non existent. Rude and unprofessional since they give priority to “friends” while people are waiting for hours. Such a pity. Another place where they let you wait for one hour just to get your money. I would never go back there. They destroyed our mood.
16/11/2025: Completely disorganized. Every waiter does his own reservation. We try to make a reservation but they told us, we don't need one. We finally found a table after half an hour and then the waiter come and told us to leave cause he had a reservation in this table.

27/09/2025: Beautiful, fresh, and clean atmosphere, old-fashioned professional service—compliments. We tried the pizzas, the best in Procida (at least for our tastes), after having been to at least 4 or 5 other pizzerias. The potato croquettes were special! This will be our go-to place for Saturday nights!
12/09/2025: I ordered takeout. The pizzas were delicious, arrived on time and hot. The staff was very helpful. The delivery guy was super friendly! I'll definitely order again. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: The seafood pasta was spectacular, it looked like a painting and was delicious.
20/11/2025: Perhaps because it was the off-season, there was no need to wait or make a reservation. There were parking spaces at the entrance, and the sea view from the window was stunning. The waiter was a somewhat aloof-looking middle-aged man, but he actually had his own unique way of being warm and welcoming. He even gave us complimentary fried small fish to try, which was delicious. I ordered a seafood pasta dish, which was very tasty and plentiful, with plenty of shrimp, mussels, and clams. I even drank all the broth at the bottom of the plate. The current rating is only 4.1, but in my personal opinion, I feel that rating is too low.

03/06/2025: Eravamo in zona per lavoro e abbiamo cercato un posto tipico dove mangiare. Questo locale ci è sembrato quello giusto.
Abbiamo ordinato dei primi piatti e la loro specialità: la carne di cinghiale.
I primi erano molto buoni, in particolare il ragù di cinghiale, che consiglio vivamente.
La carne, invece, ci ha convinto un po’ meno, non ci ha entusiasmato. Prezzi nella media.

Bistecca di cinghiale ottima, tagliatelle ai funghi antipasto e contorni tutto una delizia, per non parlare dei dolci, il babà alla strega strepitoso, ne avrei mangiati altri 2. Se dovessimo tornare da queste parti si andrà diretti al cinghiale per provare altri piatti sicuramente eccezionali. Ci siamo trovati bene, locale piccolo e accogliente, si sente la passione per la cucina e per i prodotti di ottima qualità.

09/10/2025: What an amazing dinner! This place is a gastronomic treat! The food, presentation is creative and delicious and the perfectly paired wines added to our memorable experience! We stayed at this iconic hotel and ate at this wonderful restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and the staff from Stefano, Emmanuele and Enrico (sommelier) were top notch. Every dish from this tasting menu was superb. In addition the creative presentation and wonderful city and bay of naples view is worth coming here. Very romantic restaurant. Highly recommend!
26/09/2025: I would like to point out that we are used to going to starred restaurants on a weekly basis.
We chose the more traditional "From 2018" menu: a complete mess, devoid of any vision or thought behind the dishes (as was the interior design, dated and devoid of any concept). A thousand ingredients combined haphazardly in dishes ranging from lemon rice with shrimp (where the citrus acidity takes over) to thick spaghetti with tomato sauce, to turbot cooked in butter with mushrooms: a decidedly unlikely pairing, where creativity is barely justified. Even the lamb. The dessert (pastiera soufflé with aran-lemon sorbet) was the most successful dish of the dinner.

12/10/2025: A beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained restaurant with quality food, an open-plan oven and kitchen, and truly attentive staff. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend it.
