Excellent and fast service without long waits. Friendly staff. A nice place right in the main street of Amalfi, it is located near the fountain set inside the rock with a permanent nativity scene set up.

We had a delicious meal here - by far the best food we've had so far on our trip. Staff are very friendly and you're made to feel right at home. Highly recommend the grilled fish and the scialatielli with seafood - and make sure to leave space for dessert!

We ate here twice during our three day stay, the food is great but Giuseppe is even better!! He's an amazing server and an amazing person! Also the lemon arugula pizza is wonderful.

Very friendly staff and fast service. Some were a little annoyed and could see from the work how it was done. The spaghetti with clams and the excellent paccheri are also very good starters. All very good, compliments also to the focaccia and bread which was very welcome. Compliments

We were at La Taverna on a busy day just before the New Year and is was a respite from feeling like one of many, many tourists walking on the narrow streets and alleys of Amalfi. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

Order takeout pizza for late night. At least they were open. Order anchovy an olive pizza 14 Euros. The pizza is larger than other places and it was nice and hot. Very fast I didn’t have to wait long. Good for me for what I needed.
