24/08/2025: The wait staff was extremely professional, friendly, and prompt. The fish was fresh and very well cooked. Excellent value. Highly recommended. The location is perfect.

22/08/2025: A disappointing experience. The calamari, both grilled and fried, were barely edible. The scialiatelli with red shrimp were completely tasteless. The shrimp and calamari tasted like they were frozen. To make matters worse, the bill included two more dishes and one more bottle of water than we ordered. We won't be returning.

22/05/2026: I came to this place based on my expectations for the location, but the atmosphere was cold and spartan, almost refectory-like. One sore point about the food: despite being in a seaside area, the quality of the fish leaves much to be desired and isn't as fresh as it should be. I also ordered a dish with capers, hoping for something tasty, but they were soggy, watery, and completely flavorless. The only bright spot seems to be the pizza, since the tables of the families around me were ordering it, but as far as I'm concerned, the experience with the food was decidedly negative. I really don't think I'll be back.!!!

03/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐ This refuge is located in Montescuro, in a very convenient and easily accessible location. The place is truly charming, especially when it snows: the atmosphere is magical and welcoming, perfect for relaxing in front of the fireplace with a delicious hot chocolate. The service is good, friendly, and helpful. Overall, a pleasant place to spend a few hours in tranquility, immersed in the mountain atmosphere.

27/01/2026: It was a beautiful Sunday with lots of snow and then we took refuge here for lunch and warmed up in front of the splendid fireplace.

09/04/2026: Unfortunately, I have to complain, and I do so based on my personal experience, as the food was literally awful, not to mention disgusting! The appetizer was unpleasant; the meatball (which I thought was good) had been made days before and then served reheated, I assume in the microwave. The rice ball was disgusting, inedible! It was overly salty and tasteless. The pasta? The sauce was super acidic, sour, and had no flavor. The pizza? Is that pizza, in your opinion? Disgusting! It couldn't be cut, it was literally a wafer, it looked like anything but a real, good pizza, but it looked like a piadina baked raw in the oven. The only good thing? Fruit salad with ice cream, and a Coke to digest the crap I ate! You should just close down or change management. I will never recommend you to my family, much less anyone who knows me.

09/03/2026: Unfortunately, the only good things about this place are the kindness of the waitresses and the pizza dough. We had a homemade appetizer, the cured meats were subpar, the mini tomato bruschetta was inedible due to the rock-hard bread, the pumpkin fritter was dripping with fried and over-fried oil, the little piece of cheese was ridiculously salty, the meatball had been made days before, reheated in the microwave and was piping hot. The rice ball was a bland and sticky stick. We chose not to try the pork gelatin at all. The grilled vegetables were good. The pizza dough was very good and digestible, but it was a shame about the ingredients on top: the fried eggplant cut into julienne strips, almost charred, the bitter tomato, and the mediocre mozzarella. The mimosa cake was two sheets of sponge cake with a layer of cream in the center and a dusting of powdered sugar. A disaster, in short.

25/12/2025: I wanted to share my extremely negative experience with the elderly gentleman at the bar. I asked if they could heat up some bottle water for my baby, who was crying—I should point out that she's just a 3-month-old baby—and the gentleman said no, because the machines were turned off because he had just heated up some appetizer snacks in the microwave. I should also point out that it's a bar where we often stopped for appetizers. But obviously, he won't be seeing us or our friends and relatives again.

27/10/2025: We were at this agriturismo for the first time yesterday, and it was a pleasant surprise. Quiet, child-friendly place. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer and tagliatelle 🔝. Congratulations to all the staff, especially Romeo, who looked after us so attentively!!! We'll be back!!!

08/06/2026: A terrible experience, definitely not to be repeated! I returned to this restaurant after a previous experience that hadn't convinced me, but this time the situation was even worse. The first thing that struck me was the complete lack of privacy. For much of the lunch, the owner, Peppe, sat just a few meters from our table, constantly listening and following our conversations. We were there for a business lunch and felt uncomfortable the entire time, unable to speak freely, behavior I found unprofessional and decidedly inappropriate. Added to this was a very serious problem: the heat inside the restaurant was literally scorching. The air conditioning was on, but the doors and windows were wide open. When I pointed this out to Peppe, he told me that if they turned everything off, the air conditioning wouldn't be enough to cool the place... translated: the air conditioning system is completely inadequate for the structure. We spent the entire lunch sweating like we were in a sauna, so uncomfortable we couldn't wait to get out. As for the food, it wasn't anything memorable; I'd dare say it was adequate, not terrible, but certainly not up to the sky-high prices. Small portions and average to poor quality. We ordered three appetizers to share, two first courses and two second courses, a dessert, and two limoncellos. No lobster, no champagne, just still and sparkling water. No particularly elaborate dishes. The final bill? Insane: €170 for four people who ate for two people, a sum I consider completely disproportionate for what we ate, the quality offered, and especially the level of service received. In conclusion: unbearably hot, no privacy, a very disappointing value for money, and an overall experience I absolutely wouldn't recommend to anyone. If you're wondering where to go for lunch or dinner in the area, my advice is to look elsewhere. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer better quality and much more affordable prices. As far as I'm concerned, this was the second and last chance we gave Peppone; they'll certainly NEVER see us again! Payment was made digitally, via POS, but without issuing a receipt.

20/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience at Civico 28. Last night we had aperitif and had a great time. I tried the cocktail of the day, which was truly unique and carefully crafted: served in a teacup, accompanied by a savory biscuit and a cheese mousse, excellent and original. Good quality food, equally good drinks, fair prices, and attentive service. Recommended!

30/11/2025: One of the worst places I've ever been. The bathroom was simply disgusting: broken tiles, a wobbly sink, no water, a toilet flush that didn't work, and not a drop of soap. The floor was so slippery that I fell, seriously risking injury, and no staff bothered to care. The place was overcrowded, chaotic, and clearly unsafe. The drinks were of an embarrassing quality, and the staff were rude and completely disinterested in their customers. Calling this place awful is a compliment: avoid it at all costs.
