10/10/2025: Highly recommended Delicious pastries and friendly, knowledgeable staff. A lovely restaurant inside. Spotlessly clean bathrooms.

28/09/2025: High prices, bathrooms: at best, they're indecent, dirty from morning onwards, almost all closed and without toilet paper, filthy sinks and no soap. Never again!!!

04/12/2025: The food and staff are very good. The heating could be set a little higher during the cooler months.

06/09/2025: We went for dinner on a recommendation and went back two days later to get takeout. The service was excellent, the staff very polite and friendly. We also had a second taste of their local amaro, Ferrochina del Moro, and brought two bottles back to Spain. Overall, the best pizzeria in Castrovillari right now.

12/09/2025: We went for dinner two nights in a row. The first night, we ordered two pizzas. The second night, we ordered a plate of seafood pasta, which was good, and a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms, which I wasn't happy with because, upon eating it, I immediately realized it was frozen food from the "quattro salti in padella" brand. If this is the treatment, I don't think we'll be back.

07/08/2025: Although the food was good, the owner and staff were an absolute disaster. I ordered a meal and one drink – a 1-liter bottle of cola. The waiter brought a smaller one, so I pointed it out, and he exchanged it for the one I had ordered. But when it came time to pay, I discovered that the bill was too high. I went to the staff to ask them to correct the mistake, but no one spoke English. I tried to communicate using a translator on my phone, but the owner completely ignored it. He said the cola had been ordered and opened (by the waiter), so I had to pay for it. I tried to explain that it wasn’t fair, but he didn’t listen to me at all. In the end, he rudely told me that since I was in Italy, I should speak Italian, not English. In my opinion, this was totally inappropriate, and the owner was very aggressive – he made rude gestures and spoke to us in a disrespectful way. One thing is certain – I will never go back there again

04/01/2026: The super-stuffed croissants and the cloud with cream and chocolate are a real treat! Fair prices, a well-kept place frequented by young people. Pleasant atmosphere, highly recommended!

20/09/2025: Fantastic pizza, tasty and easy to digest. Compliments to pizza chef Silvio. The fries were also excellent. Erminio's kindness, friendliness, and hospitality accompanied us throughout the evening. A wonderful experience, even more so when it's less crowded. We'll definitely be back.

27/10/2025: We were at this agriturismo for the first time yesterday, and it was a pleasant surprise. Quiet, child-friendly place. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer and tagliatelle 🔝. Congratulations to all the staff, especially Romeo, who looked after us so attentively!!! We'll be back!!!

20/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience at Civico 28. Last night we had aperitif and had a great time. I tried the cocktail of the day, which was truly unique and carefully crafted: served in a teacup, accompanied by a savory biscuit and a cheese mousse, excellent and original. Good quality food, equally good drinks, fair prices, and attentive service. Recommended!

12/08/2025: I had a Nutella and Lotus flavored gelato. I found the former a little too sweet, but I recommend the latter. I liked the artisanal waffle. The staff was friendly; for those craving a refreshing gelato, this place seems to have just the right ingredients.

16/09/2025: I'm only reviewing the food since I stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was quick; my dish arrived about 3 minutes after ordering. I had a caprese salad and a Nastro beer. I would have expected a slightly larger portion than the caprese, given that it cost me €10. Still, it was good. The tomato sauce was plain. A fairly light dish. You can sit down after 3:00 PM, since I arrived a few minutes late. Coffee included. All for €14.

27/10/2025: Self-service. We spent 56 euros, which included 20 euros for a veal rib, the rest, 2 tiny slices of pork, 2 small bottles of water, a quarter of wine (not even Tavernello is this bad) and a platter of cured meats, with counted slices... The freshness of the meat didn't seem great to me, the tables were all dirty, you can only sit outside, and you also pay the cover charge even though they don't offer any service.

01/09/2025: Terrible experience, I absolutely don't recommend it. Not so much for the quality of the product—the sausage sandwich was average—but for the disproportionately inflated bill and the lack of transparency regarding the cost of the products sold. It would deserve zero stars, not just one. ❗️

03/09/2025: Gino...an extraordinary person, as well as an excellent host and restaurant owner...Exquisite dishes, from the starters to the sandwiches to the desserts. Clean, courteous, and well-prepared. I'll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: Very welcoming place. Two-hour wait for potatoes with onions and a first course. Two more first courses and the grilled meat are still to come, but maybe we'll make it tonight.
