The cocktails are very well made, unlike some tourist traps where there's nothing but ice.

The guys behind and in front of the bar are simply brilliant, the cocktails are good (including non-alcoholic options), the bar area has a lovely atmosphere, simply everything is perfect.

We arrived in Matera not at the right time for lunch as the siesta had started - fortunately Ridola caffe had a pretty decent offer of local food and sandwiches. I was very pleased with the bean soup (it was 4 degrees outside and the wind was blowing terribly). The bean soup was very similar to the one we cook at home and we got very tasty bread to go with it. Next we had Lasagne Lucana - they were good and we also tried the local Orecchiette - I ate it for the first time and the pasta seemed overcooked and overall it was poorly flavoured - not at all - but to be fair I have never eaten it before and it is possible that it was supposed to taste like that and I just had different expectations. The service was very nice, I thought it was probably the owner, he really tried and was helpful, the prices in the establishment are higher but then again I understand that it is in the historical part on a big street where many tourists go.

Highly recommended for a snack. Excellent quality, kind and friendly staff. Absolutely reasonable prices.

Dynamic service from the bartender and waiters, affordable prices, a cool interior, and a rather local crew at the tables. Plus: 2nd place on the list of coffees I've ever had. Not objectively... I RECOMMEND!!!

We were there in early March and it was a wonderful surprise! We had great food, the atmosphere was original and refined, the bathroom was unique and clean, and most importantly, the super waiter made our day with his good humor! I highly recommend it!

A great place, with a very nice and cozy interior, and plenty of tables inside so you can sit outside even in bad weather. A large selection of meatless snacks, wonderful teas, and friendly service.

What a shame!!! Taking advantage just because you're a tourist. Don't bring a few appetizers with two aperitifs, then ask if you'd like anything and say yes to the owner. He'll bring you crostini, which you have to pay for separately. Total: one Aperol Spritz A glass of Prosecco Plus the crostini, total: €26 Congratulations!!!
