26/06/2026: Terrible experience: cunning and disrespectful.
We ordered three pucce, two of which were filled with Roman porchetta, at a whopping €13 each (plus delivery charges). Upon arrival, we were in for a nasty surprise: instead of real Roman porchetta, the pucce were stuffed with industrial-grade sliced porchetta. I believe this behavior is a sign of great cunning and a total lack of respect for the customer, especially given such high prices. If I pay for a specific product, I expect to receive that and not a cheap substitute. This is not the way to behave. Not recommended.
07/05/2026: Everything was very good, the only flaw for me was a pinch more salt in the pasta.
But that's just a small thing.

24/12/2025: I've been to Kilimamgiaro in Matera and it's a great location. There's ample parking, and the thoughtful decor and pop of color from the orange armchairs make all the difference: the eye is well-pleasing, and comfort helps you enjoy your dinner even more.
There was also the option to choose a grain-based dough (avoiding hemp if you don't like it), demonstrating the kitchen's great flexibility.
Furthermore, traditional menus often limit vegan options to the usual Margherita or classic Ortolana. Having a dedicated menu for vegetarians is a sign of great modernity and respect for the customer.
My lovely escape, out of the region for those seeking a more vegetarian-friendly culinary experience, was worth it.
21/12/2025: The staff was admirable, even though we arrived with a full dining room. They served us a super-fast meal because our child was very hungry. The pizza chef (I think he's the owner) made two delicious pizzas with quality and professionalism. Thank you for having us at your restaurant. Happy holidays. PS: I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent food.

14/03/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch and the experience was excellent. Two first courses and a second course were expertly cooked, home-made, and beautifully presented. We also found the price to be reasonable, considering the authenticity of the products served!

23/07/2026: An excellent dinner at this restaurant nestled in a farmhouse in Montalbano. A refined yet understated setting, it offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for an evening al fresco.
We chose spaghetti with friggitelli peppers and tomato, simple yet full-bodied and well-balanced, and a mixed grill.
Authentic flavors, local ingredients, and attentive service.
13/07/2026: A magical place. The property offers accommodations in four luxurious apartments, including a splendid trullo, meticulously maintained and truly welcoming. It's a quaint location, ideal not only for a romantic evening, but also for celebrating a wedding or a special event. The menu features typical local dishes, rich in flavor, perfectly balanced, and presented with meticulous attention to detail. What more can I say? I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an evening of excellent food, elegance, and a romantic atmosphere.

02/06/2026: Location 10 minutes from the Sassi. Brand new rooms, spacious bathroom, very clean.
The hostess was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't included. There was a coffee machine in the lobby (which is separate from the rooms), but the door was locked at 7:30. However, I can't complain; the price was good.
17/05/2026: A good choice for a one-night stay.
I was pleased with both the welcome and the room.

23/05/2026: Very disappointing experience.
The room was extremely damp and humid, to the point where the environment felt unhealthy and uncomfortable to sleep in.
The situation became even worse at checkout, when the staff refused to provide an invoice. We had to argue for a long time before receiving a handwritten document.
The staff was rude and confrontational instead of trying to solve the issue professionally.
I would not recommend this property.
20/03/2026: In my opinion, the points in its favor are: the breakfast (excellent and plentiful), the location (not too crowded and not far from the main streets and squares), the friendliness and kindness of the owner.
