06/04/2024: Dining at 1999 the restaurant in Maratea was truly a pleasant experience for me. The fantastic location overlooking the Port, the refined and very tasty dishes, with new combinations that make them unique. An appreciation also for the dining room staff ready to guide you in your choice, attentive to every customer request and to make you feel at home. I highly recommend it!

01/04/2024: Had dinner...mediocre food not up to expectations, lamb not in a piñata as advertised (dish ordered in another restaurant and served in a terracotta piñata, baked in the oven served sealed with a crunchy pizza dough) this served in a casserole dish earthenware, boiled dish with vegetables, three skinny pieces of lamb submerged in a tasteless watery broth together with pieces of carrots, potatoes, a disappointing tasteless dish. Roasted caciocavallo... more of an appetizer than a second course, a scant slice of barely warm caciocavallo. Tasteless unseasoned side dish... when you ask for a little oil you seem to be asking for gold, a disappointing sweet trio of chocolates. I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend it. The bill, although the owner was sorry for the poor service, was considered a perfect dinner

21/01/2024: I was last year for a weekend. The place is very nice and well-kept. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is helpful and the entertainment guys are very good. The resort has a very large swimming pool but at certain times a sunbed is impossible. The beach is also beautiful and equipped. In short, an excellent place to spend some days in peace with the family. The restaurant has many quality dishes and is a buffet. The only flaw is that the place is a bit isolated and if you want to go out in the evening you have to take the car and make a trip. a little way.

15/12/2023: Excellent structure with a lot of potential. More than a hotel, it is a village. The owners and managers of the structure are very helpful in everything and deserve many stars. Let's move on to the negative sides. I advise you against eating in the facility because you will have to equip yourself with a helmet and truncheon to do so and please don't arrive half an hour before closing, you will be forced to put the food in your pocket since they clean the rooms while you eat and I'll stop here. The quality of the food is good but sometimes the dishes do not meet expectations. Very sad sore point about the room meters....... IF HE WAS MY EMPLOYEE HE WOULD HAVE MOVED HOME. 03/04/2024: Our visit to Cazzaneda Agriturismo was a big letdown. We were hoping for an authentic agriturismo experience, but it felt more like a regular restaurant with inflated prices. On Pasquetta, they charged a whopping €45 per person, which felt like a rip-off given the mediocre food and small portions. We were promised fresh farm-to-table dishes, but they fell short. And when we asked for vegetarian options, the staff seemed clueless. The whole payment process was a nightmare too, with malfunctioning POS terminals causing long delays. To top it off, they blasted loud house music, totally killing the peaceful vibe you'd expect at an agriturismo. Even though they were on TV show "4 Ristoranti," don't be fooled – our experience proved it's not worth it. Overall, Cazzaneda Agriturismo disappointed us with pricey food, bad service, and out-of-place music. We won't be going back anytime soon. It might be okay for locals who don't mind sacrificing quality for quantity, but for tourists like us, it felt like a scam.

03/04/2024: I was in this farmhouse for Easter Monday, so I certainly wasn't able to fully appreciate its cuisine, but the menu was really poor and banal, certainly not comparable to other farmhouses in the area. Excessively loud and tasteless music. Sufficient service. High prices. Maybe they deserve a second chance but I wouldn't go back.

10/05/2024: I like the food served, especially great pasta (loved with pepper flakes and ricotta). The staff rather nice, however there is a strange custom that outside seats are only available after reservation even when all free. The prices for main dishes are decent, but for some appetisers it was a rip-off, particularly this one that was not ordered. The ambience is local and quite good, but local music would be appreciated. Overall good choice if you want to eat in Sassi.

09/05/2024: Excellent quick meal with Lucanian specialties: crusco pepper, bread meatballs, grilled caciocavallo. Everything was excellent, even wine (Aglianico) and coffee

01/04/2024: Excellent welcome and accompaniment for the evening. Delicious crusco pepper cone, especially with the combination of stracciatella and capocollo. Sensational first course and even the bowlers were no exception. Prices appropriate to the offer which is excellent! We will be back

30/03/2024: Great food, even gluten free! Almost all the starters and main courses. They also have gluten-free bread.

Homemade bread, sulphite-free wine, excellent meats, delicious first courses and the bruschetta with caramelised onion, goat's ricotta, broccoli and Cantabrian anchovies is an absolute must..... a delight!!!!! My husband and I had only booked for Easter but after having lunch we also booked for Easter Monday 😂😂😂. If you are in Matera you cannot miss a meal at Sapori Gluten Free. A special applause goes above all to the owner, a gentleman who takes care of the room impeccably. Thank you, see you soon.

05/04/2024: Beautiful place, we were there today and I must say excellent quality of the products, very good pizza and first courses and good homemade dessert. it's worth traveling 50 km, we will definitely be back!

06/04/2024: Absolutely perfect, from the friendly, attentive, and knowledgable waiter to the delicious food and amazing view! Classy, Lovely place to watch day turn to night over the sassi. I had the octopus with mint, a generous glass of red wine, and a vegetable dish with sausage, while husband had pasta and pork. Every bite was exceptional - even the bread was good. Trust the waiter’s recommendations! Priced very reasonably - paid 42 euros total, including service charge. Excellent deal for great quality food. Highly recommended!

19/03/2024: We expected more. It may be our fault. The viewpoint advertised was for two people. A place called Finestra sui Sassi, should have a good vantage point. We will treat ourselves to some typical Sant Josep fritters.
