13/07/2025: We stayed at this residence five years ago with our one-year-old daughter. We had a wonderful time, thanks to the convenient location and the flexibility that a residence offers, where you can cook, but there's also a restaurant on the ground floor, for those days when you don't feel like cooking. At the end of our holiday, our review was five stars 😊 We returned this year, with our daughter, now six, and our new arrival, five months old. We're about to conclude our long holiday, and we're reluctantly reducing our review by one star. Perhaps some choices we've made in the meantime have made us "appreciate" the property a little less (for example, the restaurant, which has become self-service). However, it remains a good option for those of us with small children. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we extend a special thanks to the tireless maintenance man, who always smiles and often resolves small issues that required his assistance. We also greatly appreciated the work of the two entertainers, who always kept our little girl entertained with games at the beach, in the pool, pizza parties, and snacks.

13/07/2025: The apartments are nice, but at least the two-person attic apartments with balconies need better lighting. Light fixtures aren't functional and there's a lack of counter space. Not a great value for money. Located in a more residential area, 2-3 km from the city center.

27/06/2025: Ridiculous portions (tastes!) even if of decent quality. Prices not adequate. Mine is not meant to be a negative review, but a ridiculous seafood salad, 10 paccheri, an empty corn and two mussels for 30 euros including 1/4 of wine seems out of place to me, we are talking about paper napkins certainly not a high-level restaurant. P.S.: I am not a truck driver.

31/05/2025: We are at a camper stop and we tried the fried food and the seafood salad to take away, I must say very fresh, good oil 😋 we enjoyed it a lot!

02/03/2025: Arrivati in questa località per un fine settimana ci siamo fermati a cena. Ottimo, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, piatti tipici, i dolci eccellenti. Personale cordiale ambiente curato e accogliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

10/02/2025: Locale non molto grande ma si presenta molto bene, servizio celere e accurato. Cucina ottima e con buona scelta. Prezzi medio/alti ma non eccessivi.

10/05/2025: The pizza is raw on the inside and black on the outside. The pizza is empty, the service is terrible. If you don't catch the waiter red-handed, he will ignore you. I don't recommend going here.

11/02/2025: We arrived at half past seven having taken the pizzas from Panarea and we asked the barmaid if we could eat the pizzas on the chocolate tables, she said yes but that she was about to close... in the end with the glasses still full she told us if she could collect the glasses still with the wine and we were forced to take the wine away in the plastic glass having paid 9 euros for it, she was very rude

20/07/2025: Ottimo posto per un pranzo in famiglia. Lo consiglio vivamente. Antipasto tradizionale, pane fatto in casa, primi abbondanti e ottima carne. Niente dolci perché eravamo pieni.

22/07/2025: The staff is very friendly, but the equipment is in poor working order. Those who get into trouble have trouble having fun due to constant technical problems. In a 20-minute game, if you have to leave twice to have your rifle fixed, you've only played half the time. Too bad.

04/07/2025: Great place to spend time with kids or celebrate birthdays, even with large groups. There are different areas designed for different ages: a soft and safe area for the little ones (from 1 to 3 years old), where they can crawl and play freely, and separate spaces for older children with slides, balls, climbing and many interactive games. For older kids there is also the laser game — a beautiful dynamic and engaging activity, also perfect for parties or outings with friends. My 3 and a half year old son loves this place — every time he comes back with enthusiasm and doesn't want to leave. The food is also really good: the pizza is surprisingly tasty — it's worth coming even just to get it to take away and take it to the beach! The coffee is good, the dishes are well prepared and there is plenty of space to sit. In the summer the atmosphere is cool and pleasant — a real refuge from the heat. An ideal place for the whole family. Highly recommended!

23/05/2025: Wow! What an amazing experience. The dishes were prepared with precision and tasted excellent. Everything was light, fresh, and flavourful. It felt like you could taste the passion and thoughtfulness put into each dish with every bite. My favourite dish was the dessert, a beautiful mound of plum wrapped in a delicate yet tasty cheese. One of the best and most unique dishes i’ve tasted in Italy. The service was incredible and the owner was extremely friendly - highly recommend anyone that finds themselves looking for some amazing seafood to dine at Il Palmizio - a truly wonderful night 🙏

01/08/2025: A lovely restaurant, the food is delicious. However, the service is very poor, with no interest in the well-being of the guests. We ordered dishes for three people, and the food wasn't brought together. Each of us ate alone. Some dishes were completely forgotten, despite repeated inquiries about the food, but we were charged for them. Unfortunately, not recommended due to the service.

21/07/2025: I'm talking about the seafood restaurant; a 20 euro appetizer: seafood salad, pickled giardiniera, and mackerel fillets. Mussels in sauce and Big Babol-style octopus. STOP. BE THE JUDGE!!!!!

20/07/2025: Quiet beach, clean water, rich in wildlife in June: crabs, fish and starfish..., possibility of renting pedal boats (at the beach next door but it is owned by the same owner), very good food... price perhaps a little high for a first course: 18 euros, but everything was delicious...

19/07/2025: Sono venuta in famiglia,il posto carino, ma il cibo... Abbiamo preso 2 spaghetti allo scoglio, un fritto e uno spaghetto alle vongole. Lo spaghetto allo scoglio aveva pochissimo pesce con sugo molto acquoso; il fritto molto insipido e secco; lo spaghetto alle vongole anche quello con pochissime vongole e moltissimo olio.Non sembrava pesce fresco.In totale abbiamo speso €98.

29/06/2025: We spent a really nice day at Mar del Plata! The establishment is cared for in every detail, with a beautiful garden that makes the atmosphere even more relaxing. The location is perfect, easy to reach even for those coming from outside. Ideal for those looking for a quiet place but well served. See you soon!
