08/03/2026: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were kind, helpful, and very courteous, and the waitresses were discreet. Service was limited to taking orders, after which the girls didn't show up at the table except to bring the dishes. We had to call them to get attention (for example, there was no water at the table), so customer service was unfortunately nonexistent. The wait was average, a shame about the hot appetizers, which were unfortunately cold, and the only hot items were tempura skewers. The seafood salad was decent, and the cold appetizers were good. Unfortunately, the chitarra allo scoglio pasta turned out to be chitarra with mussels and clams, with a shrimp tail (one of a kind) and a cherry tomato. Overall, that was also decent, but far from qualifying as chitarra allo scoglio. Another negative note was the grilled calamari, which was actually breaded calamari, probably cooked in the oven, as there were no signs of grilling. It was good, but it would have been better if they had called ahead. The children's mezze maniche with plain tomato sauce was very good (the kids loved it). It's a shame that the waitresses didn't ask if we wanted anything else, offering coffee, sorbet, etc... The average bill was around 30 euros per person.

01/01/2026: The atmosphere was typical of a trattoria, the staff were friendly, and the food was decent. However, for New Year's Eve dinner, except for the appetizer, where everyone received their own course, the following courses were served to only three out of six people at our table. Each time, they forgot to complete the round, so we had to point this out. With the fried food, however, only one person received a side salad. Finally, they served dessert directly, without bringing anyone at our table the zampone and lentils included in the menu, which had been duly prepaid upon entering the restaurant. We were full, and at that point we didn't even say anything. I don't think it was bad faith (although I wonder how the kitchen didn't realize there were still dishes to serve), but they certainly weren't capable of managing the restaurant's capacity, and perhaps they didn't even realize that someone was always left without their dish.

09/11/2025: A place that is nothing short of magnificent and elegant, even though I think it is dated in its existence, I had the pleasure of celebrating Halloween evening in this location with an organised package and with a small group of friends, taking advantage of the fact that there are also accommodations, we also stayed to sleep.

06/09/2025: We chose this location for our wedding and what can I say... We were pampered from start to finish. Piero is a wonderful person; he made us feel at home from start to finish and guided us through this year of preparations. Miriam and Elena are two amazing people, super organized and available to us. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food excellent, and our guests had a blast... we couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding. A serene, cheerful, and happy atmosphere with cool hair and a wonderful light in their eyes. And then the desserts... unsurpassed. For a unique experience, I highly recommend them.

14/09/2025: We were greeted very warmly and sat in the garden. It was cool and we immediately felt at ease. The service was prompt and professional, but what really stuck with me were the arrosticini, they were amazing. I recommend the Patate al coppo, delicious. I'll definitely be back!

04/09/2025: Located on the northern waterfront of Francavilla Al Mare (Viale Alcjone, on the hillside), this fast food restaurant is an excellent option for those looking for delicious, freshly prepared food at a reasonable price. Few frills, but plenty of "speedy food" substance, especially the arrosticini, a must-try in the Abruzzo region, are delicious. Wash it all down with a nice glass of Montepulciano or a nice cold beer, and the whole thing is complete.

29/08/2025: I ate lasagna here and I have to say that it is better than the Ryanair ones, the menu is exclusively in English (with little clarity between the set menu and the normal dishes), the owners are not very welcoming

28/10/2025: I spent the summer here and overall had a great time. The beach is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with lovely gazebos and children's playgrounds, making it a perfect place for families. The restaurant is truly excellent: the freshest fish (the mixed fried fish is exceptional!) and delicious pizzas, both by the plate and by the slice. Plus, the sea view from the restaurant is breathtaking, and the staff is always kind and friendly. Unfortunately, there are some downsides: the bathrooms were often not clean, and there was no toilet paper. I also witnessed a very unpleasant scene: an elderly man managing the cash register harshly scolded a clearly autistic child for screaming, unaware of the situation. It was truly unpleasant to witness, and I hope such incidents never happen again. Overall, however, the beach remains an excellent place to spend a relaxing day at the beach, with good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended!

20/09/2025: I had pizza (buffalo mozzarella, anchovies, and radicchio), gelato, and coffee. All very good, with efficient and friendly service. The atmosphere was spacious and quaint, especially since my table overlooked the beach. Highly recommended.

15/01/2026: It took me a while to write this review! Unfortunately, I have to say, I haven't eaten like this in I don't know how long! I should start by saying I don't think there was a chef in the kitchen. We sat down with two friends. Among us was a vegetarian, but that didn't seem like a problem from the start, but then... We ordered a trio of bruschetta and two Neapolitan frittatas! TRIO OF BRUSCHETTE: The dish arrived was truly nonsensical. Three slices of bread that hadn't even seen the grill (Wikipedia: It consists of a slice of stale bread, either grilled or oven-roasted), spread with a canned product. The two frittatas were delicious! We ordered three tagliolini with truffle, and here comes the apotheosis. This fresh pasta (not tagliolini) arrived, tossed with the same truffle sauce as the bruschetta. We went to pay, and the bill was hefty. I'm a foodie and I always say: When you eat well, the price doesn't matter. When you eat badly, you're wasting your money! Friendly waiter An evening to forget

29/11/2025: Pizzeria Unicentro has become a regular stop for my partner and I. We order pizza there almost every week. We also chose it because it's a light pizza that doesn't linger in your stomach overnight.

06/09/2025: We went to Barbanera for dinner today, September 6, 2025. An experience to forget, left to our own devices. The grilled fish was embarrassing. I've never seen anything like it. 17 euros for a tiny piece of fish and a skewer of shrimp. It was incredibly sad! The other diners also had broken squid, just four tiny pieces on their plates. A mind-blowing price for that miserable dinner. I honestly feel like I was being taken for a ride. NEVER AGAIN!!!
