08/12/2024: Nice and welcoming place, the menu is varied so you can choose without too much difficulty. The staff is very helpful and above all very nice, they are really attentive to every customer's need, what struck me in particular is the effectiveness of the impeccable service. The price is honest and low compared to average. It was all good I recommend it.

06/12/2024: Personale gentile e disponibile, ci hanno fatto accomodare anche se siamo arrivati vicino all’orario di chiusura. Pappardelle con ragù di cinghiale sono spettacolari.

11/02/2025: We arrived at half past seven having taken the pizzas from Panarea and we asked the barmaid if we could eat the pizzas on the chocolate tables, she said yes but that she was about to close... in the end with the glasses still full she told us if she could collect the glasses still with the wine and we were forced to take the wine away in the plastic glass having paid 9 euros for it, she was very rude

But with great disappointment I have to say that it wasn't worth the expense! even if the prices are competitive compared to other local delicatessens! but only a little. The dishes are far from Abruzzo traditions. And just as the old proverb said, those who save! waste!!!

06/11/2024: What can I say? I discovered it by chance (and luckily I should say) and I'm very happy with it. The hospitality of the staff is given by many ingredients: kindness, human warmth, the ever-present smile, courtesy, cheerfulness... and what's more, the delicacies they make are a real delicacy, mouth-watering! They have biscuits (even with low sugar and lactose-free), cakes made by them, both normal and vegan or lactose-free. Croissants, little bags. Pinse, bread, loaves. Cafeteria (also lactose-free milk), tea, chocolate, aperitifs, juices... I only go for breakfast when I'm in Pescara, or for a snack before starting my work shift and it's a point of reference that I won't change for anything in the world!! A positive note, or rather a very positive one, goes to Rosa, cheerful and always kind to everyone, she makes you want to go to Toccaferro even just to see her smile and to cheer up your day. In practice, a panacea!

01/01/2025: We had dinner here for New Year's Eve dinner. Young, kind and knowledgeable staff. Excellent cuisine, fun entertainment. An experience recommended and to be repeated.

13/09/2024: I was there on September 1st, first of all the mosquitoes ate me, the food was good, but not exceptional, I bought the white beans from the tavo and the chickpeas, the beans cost 8 euros half a kilo, (no complaints about the price) but one expects a top quality product. Last night I soaked them and I realized that it was the 2023 production, when now there should already be wuelli from 2024. This morning I put them to cook following the instructions, just before boiling I started making noises, but there were so many skins (but really a lot) it had never happened to me with beans, I eat them for lunch and I really want to see if the flavor is like the ones I ate there.

20/04/2025: Overall quite good, the kebabs certainly above average, the service done with great friendliness. I think this is its real strong point, the environment absolutely needs to be renovated.

13/04/2025: Torniamo in questo ristorante a distanza di due anni e, a fronte dei vari nei rilevati la prima volta, tutto ci è apparso migliorato di molto. Staff interamente rinnovato con figure professionali gentili, attente e competenti. Menù di livello, con ottime materie prime e belle intuizioni negli abbinamenti. Sempre sopra la media la carta dei vini. Conto coerente con la qualità.

23/02/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo locale per un pranzo domenicale. Che dire, ottimo menù, il personale molto preparato e gentile! Abbiamo optato per un menu degustazione; siamo stati accolti con un aperitivo di benvenuto delicato e avvolgente. Siamo poi passati all’antipasto, primo e secondo. Piatti ben preparati e curati al dettaglio. Il nostro pranzo è terminato con una selezione di dolci davvero buoni. Consiglio a chiunque vuole provare un’esperienza diversa nel cuore di Pescara. Una nota di merito al cameriere Alessandro che ci ha fatti sentire a nostro agio, ci ha spiegato con cura ogni piatto presentato.

13/04/2025: Today was really bad. The meals ordered were served in a confusing manner, cutlery was always missing, it took us more than 2 hours to eat a starter and a first course. The service was terrible, we did not receive any kind of apology from the staff. I'm speechless, I didn't think I'd find such a level. I don't recommend

13/04/2025: Very poor quality food, VERY slow, absent and superficial service. Cold, unkept environment. I honestly don't like eating at a table with pigeon poop on it and with nails and rubbish in the air. I strongly advise against it and the mistakes made cannot be justified with the excuse of having just reopened.

23/04/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia per Pasqua ed abbiamo utilizzato una SmartBox, abbiamo dovuto aggiungere un piccolo supplemento per i pasti, ma ci sta tutto visto che era il periodo delle festività Pasquali. Fatta questa piccola prefazione devo dire che il nostro soggiorno è stato assolutamente PERFETTO. I proprietari del Rifugio sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili durante tutta la nostra permanenza. Le camere sono arredate in maniera semplice, sono spaziose e soprattutto pulitissime. In alcune recensioni avevo letto che le porzioni di cibo erano scarse...io onestamente non so cosa siano abituati a mangiare questi signori, perché noi abbiamo mangiato benissimo e pure tanto. La maggior parte del cibo è fatto in casa, come il pane, le torte o le patate. La pizza è gigantesca e davvero buona. I menù di Pasqua e Pasquetta sono stati super abbondanti. Sul cibo veramente nulla da dire. Il posto dove si trova il Rifugio è completamente immerso nel verde e dal Rifugio partono diversi sentieri con differenti difficoltà, ben tenuti e ben indicati. Ci sono cartelli all'inizio che indicano lunghezza, durata etc. Il telefono non prende bene, ma internet funziona e di conseguenza abbiamo utilizzato sempre whatsapp per eventuali chiamate, ma sinceramente un pò di "riposo" dal cellulare non ci ha fatto assolutamente male. Davanti al rifugio, ma anche lateralmente si trova una distesa di prato che sembra non finire mai, con tavolini di legno e a tal proposito consiglio vivamente una coperta da pic nic. Bellissima anche la chiesa e l'altare all'aperto che si trova lì vicino, peccato averla trovata chiusa. All'interno del Rifugio ci sono poi delle aree comuni con biliardino, carte e vari giochi da tavolo oltre ad una saletta con la TV. Il nostro Labrador, nonostante sia un cane di taglia grande, è stato il benvenuto ad eccezione ovviamente della sala pranzo e dietro supplemento per le pulizie finali ed anche questo lo sapevamo ovviamente. Sinceramente devo dire che è stata una bellissima vacanza all'insegna del relax e del buon cibo. Grazie e speriamo di poter un giorno ritornare!

09/03/2025: Ho soggiornato 2 notti con bimba di 2 anni e marito perché ci avevano regalato una smartbox. È stato molto semplice prenotare direttamente dall'app della smartbox. Unica nota negativa abbiamo avuto problemi a comunicare telefonicamente perché avevano la linea guasta ma ci hanno risposto subito dopo averli contattati da Facebook. Agriturismo ben curato, nel mezzo del bosco. Camere pulite, calde e spaziose. Ottimo cibo e porzioni abbondanti, sia a cena che a colazione con piatti tipici torte fatte in casa. Molto gentile il personale che ci ha dato consigli su cosa visitare nella zona. Dal rifugio partono alcuni sentieri semplici nel bosco da poter fare con bambini.

09/01/2025: Typical and rustic tavern of a pleasant Abruzzo town. The cod-based courses are good, essential for an osteria. It is family run, they convey a familiar atmosphere. The quality is good, the price is a little over the top. It's worth a visit

02/01/2025: Ristorante trovato per caso nel meraviglioso borgo abruzzese ( Civita d’Antino) locale molto caldo e accogliente con un arredamento tipico addobbato da molteplici foto di artisti scandinavi… Cibo ottimo casereccio che fa sentirti come a casa la domenica. Prezzo molto più che onesto, direi introvabile ad oggi, (meno di 30€) nonostante la qualità alta e l’amore che ci mette o i proprietari nel servizio che offrono tornerò di sicuro!
