10/11/2025: My husband and I stayed one night, clean, tidy, welcoming and quiet. I have never slept so much. The owner was very kind.

03/11/2025: It wasn't the restaurant's best performance; I've already experienced better ones. The kindness and hospitality are undeniable. Specifically, the appetizers were good but with some imperfections, poor quality oil, the first course was inadequate: tacconi and chickpeas with cod with too much onion, linguine with cod with little seasoning and meaningless, and the second course was cod with a sauce that was unimpressive. The dessert was poor quality, with creams that weren't homemade and tasted industrial. It's a shame, because on other occasions the quality has been higher.

22/11/2025: Pizza night with four friends. Terrible pizza with grainy dough, nonexistent mozzarella, and sour tomato sauce. Extremely slow service, 1.5 hours for five pizzas, unacceptable. Noisy place. I don't think I'll be back.

12/10/2025: Matilde's Restaurant has a family atmosphere. It's not luxurious, the decor is still 1980s-esque, but it's well-kept and clean. We ordered two starters, homemade pasta, Pecorara rings, and a super-tasty lasagna. The lasagna was lavishly filled with homemade pasta, a mixed roast with a real meat flavor, chips, and a salad. Two coffees. The price was very reasonable. We were very full. I recommend booking. Super friendly staff.

11/09/2025: First time I tasted the cuisine of ''La Capannina'' ordered home delivery and it was truly a joy for the eyes and the palate, pupils and taste buds fully satisfied, I ordered a large platter, it was really very abundant, a spectacle of colors and flavors, from the fried pizza to the cacio e ova balls, stracciata and spectacular bruschetta, everything truly exquisite, highly recommended

04/09/2025: An excellent and elegant property located on the main road just outside Orsogna, easily accessible by car and 20-25 minutes from the sea at Ortona. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The pool with sun loungers and umbrellas is ideal for a relaxing break. Breakfast is excellent, with hot and cold drinks and an abundance of delicious sweets, fruit, and savory options. Dinner was truly excellent, with compliments to the chef. Special mention goes to all the staff, who, in addition to being consistently professional, were always available to meet every need. The property has a large and convenient indoor parking area. Hotel Wi-Fi is available. The only small flaw was the double room, which was a bit small. In fact, ours was a single room converted into a double, but I understand that during the central week of August, they try to accommodate all guests as best they can, and I must say they succeeded perfectly.

22/09/2025: If I could, I'd give it double the stars! I'd been to this restaurant before and was impressed by the attention to detail and the deliciousness of the dishes. I chose it to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn't have made a better choice! Neat, tidy, and contemporary, it features two small rooms adjacent to the entrance and the bar, yet still afforded all guests the privacy they deserved. The menu, carefully planned down to the smallest detail, ranged from local specialties to products from other regions, from meat to fish, all with one motto: quality. We were definitely impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes, which were accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. But above all, I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who welcomed us immediately with professionalism and respect, providing impeccable service throughout the evening, fueled by a passion for their local area and for the cuisine, meticulously prepared down to the smallest details and featuring recipes that were also unconventional, something I've seen in few places. This place truly remains a little pearl nestled in the Maiella mountains, and we can't help but recommend it and give these young guys a big compliment.

17/06/2025: My husband and I frequented this Bar Tabacchi for the 2 weeks we were on vacation on the Costa dei Trabocchi.... Friendliness, professionalism, excellent quality of food. I highly recommend it....the desserts are excellent...

23/11/2025: We stopped for an aperitif. The super-kind owner seated us in the gorgeous cellar where he was preparing the aperitif even though we didn't have a reservation. We were welcomed like family. The wine and products were excellent. Highly recommended, and we recommend making a reservation for the aperitif, as without it, it might not be possible. Thank you

20/10/2025: This evening I ordered a sandwich via Deliveroo, and it was absolutely delicious. It's been a long time since I've had such a good sandwich!! The quality of the ingredients really amazed me. Especially the meat, which was lovely and juicy. The sandwich was nice and big. If you only eat that, I'd recommend getting a double burger to fill you up. Money well spent, I devoured it like a pig 💯🥴
