23/02/2025: the appetizer was excellent, even with the entrée crouton, while the kebabs were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, the service was very slow, the waiters didn't give importance to the requests and to add nasty looks... as if they were "bothering"... oh well

18/02/2025: Welcoming location, finally staff with the smile and courtesy typical of Abruzzo. We were followed by Giuseppe for the choice of the menu which we found to be qualitatively excellent. The portions and the value for money were right.

11/01/2025: Of course we are talking about a cabin, not a luxury restaurant. Having said this, I confirm the excellent opinion and invite you to try it, both in winter and summer. Book! It is not a ceremonial hall!

16/03/2025: We went to the restaurant (03/16) without a reservation and got a table in a few minutes. The place is very well decorated. We had Tagliata de Angus from Argentina, with tomato, arugula and pesto sauce (19 euros) accompanied by delicious bread and olive oil. The meat was well prepared, just as we asked for, and went well with the sides mentioned. The service was very attentive. It is worth a visit!!!

16/03/2025: Excellent cheese and pepper. Excellent grilled lamb. The coratella all'Aquilana is good. In my opinion, the desserts should be reviewed.

23/03/2025: Just got back from celebrating my 10 year old daughter's birthday at Ippocampo!!! Surprisingly, we found a large "Best Wishes" written on the table, and when cutting the cake, a small choreography with soap bubbles! Excellent food, fast service, attentive and courteous waiting staff, despite the room being very full! Congratulations and thanks again!

22/03/2025: I've been going there for over 20 years, since the days of Lillo the chef with the striped trousers. Nice well furnished restaurant (working fireplace). care and attention to the dishes of the centuries-old tradition of the changing or rest stations (stazzuni) Carrapipi Sicilian saffron was found and loaded, then the sulfur gave impetus to the area. The restaurant offers excellent and varied first courses, unfortunately little innovative choice in the second courses: but the tripe is exceptional. Moderate prices compared to those enriched (?) by restaurateurs located up to 25 km from the Sicilian coasts.

24/12/2024: A fantastic and stimulating place, from dinner to aperitif, from going out with friends to birthdays and graduation parties. I come back very often and willingly, the owners are wonderful and the staff very well trained.

11/03/2025: Beautiful structure renovated in full respect of its history and original use. The food is good, everything is taken care of and the prices are honest. The entrance and exit by car is a little inconvenient, just be careful.

03/09/2024: E' uno stabilimento balneare molto curato sia negli allestimenti essenziali (palmette, gazebo, lettini, docce, etc), sia nei "dettagli" ( dalle altalene agli specchi ai salottini in vimini abilmente collocati qua e là fino al piccolo pontile per l'accesso in mare), che valorizzano, con agi e comodità, quel meraviglioso tratto di costa in perfetta armonia con la natura circostante. Molto carino anche il bar- ristorante, ben gestito dal personale, accogliente ed efficiente nei vari servizi; ho molto apprezzato anche il pranzo (menù fisso di ferragosto), con portate semplici ma ben realizzate e ben presentate. Molto gradito il parcheggio all'ingresso, da dove si può raggiungere facilmente la spiaggia percorrendo a piedi una breve discesa oppure con un servizio navetta sempre attivo. Bellissima l'atmosfera di sera, con i tavoli vengono allestiti in angolini molto suggestivi e romantici...

22/12/2024: L'ambiente è pulito e caldo {è inverno vero qui}. La pizza è sottile gustosa, e la cosa principale per me: ne puoi mangiare tanta, e si digerisce benissimo. Credo che questo posto diventerà famoso in futuro in questa zona, speriamo mantenga questa qualità
