Trattoria Pallone In Montereale

Excellent! Saffron gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms... exquisite pork chop and sautéed chicory... a complete appetizer if they had also included ricotta cheese... the vegetables were cooked just right; perhaps a minute longer would have softened them, as would the potatoes... a full-bodied and fragrant red wine of excellent quality. Excellent everything, including the attentive and friendly service. A gem of a trattoria nestled in the green mountains of the Laga.

A gem to discover in the Laga Mountains at the foot of Montereale. The menu is packed with excellent small gastronomic experiences. They also have a pizzeria serving pizzas and pizza tongs. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent. I can't comment on the pizza because I didn't order it. The staff was very friendly.
