09/04/2026: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of family members who had highly recommended it to us, and we were completely satisfied. The quality of the products is beyond excellent; from appetizer to dessert, we were amazed by the deliciousness of every course, and I'd even say it's one of the best places I've ever eaten. As we were entering, some locals recommended the meat, telling us it was special here, and we certainly were. The owner is attentive to his customers, taking great care to explain all the dishes and the products he offers. You can tell he has a great passion for food, and we found it all in his dishes. We'll definitely be back!
10/03/2026: Excellent hospitality, impeccable service with the utmost care and professionalism, the food is far above average, delicate dishes and expertly prepared... even the reheated dish, I'd say pro! In my opinion, among the best in Abruzzo.

22/04/2026: This restaurant is very hidden; we went with a local friend. We ate excellent roast meats and drank good wine in a typical Abruzzo restaurant. The only downside was that when we paid the bill, we were charged four extra covers, seven extra desserts, and we discovered that if you order arrosticini, you automatically get bruschetta (€15) even if you didn't ask for it. Once we returned, we were refunded the extra money.
06/04/2026: The meat we ordered was raw, and the arrosticini were equally inedible, rubbery and too cold. The pasta was very al dente, and one of the pastas we ordered had too much liquid in it, making it seem like we were eating it plain. And the bruschetta was made with tomato sauce; it wasn't traditional bruschetta, and honestly, it wasn't good.

29/03/2026: Finally, the pizza I was looking for! The dough is excellent and light, actually, very light. I tried the "profumi di bosco" and one of their cod pizzas (Fiordilatte, broccoli rabe, and chopped bell pepper). They have large and mini pizzas, truly excellent! And the staff is also kind and knowledgeable. Well done, keep it up!

14/12/2025: On vacation with my family in a bungalow in August we ate at this restaurant several times.... I want to sing the praises of the good cuisine, the fresh fish, the excellent fried food, good clams, very fresh mussels... and also good pizza, etc... everything cooked to perfection in classic style, just as we like it, with excellent quality and fresh ingredients.... We don't really like places that pretend to be Michelin-starred and give you 2 clams with 5 rolled spaghetti and, on top of that, they're not even good.... so those reading this review might be thinking: so what's the problem? Here's how I explain it: on the first day of vacation, we arrived late in the afternoon and went to eat right at dinner time. There were lots of people and we asked if there was room. We were seated in the smaller, semi-outdoor veranda. We ate very well, so much so that on the second day I went shortly after lunchtime to ask whoever I still don't know if he is: waiter, husband, owner, owner, partner... if it was possible to book a table for 3 people ON THE VERANDA for the evening. I was told in an annoyed manner that if there is room they will put us on the veranda and if there is no room they will put us inside... well, if I am booking, it is logical that I came first on purpose to find out if there is free space to sit at the tables outside in the open air, so they could very well check if the reservations for the outdoor tables are already full and if they are, tell me that there is only room inside for the evening... it is my right to decide if I don't want to eat inside not to go to the restaurant... I am pretty sure that at that time they still hadn't filled up with reservations outside.....and therefore if you accept the reservation you also accept the customer's preference....otherwise you tell them clearly that they don't take reservations....here's the point, this way of doing things made me uncomfortable and made me feel like a second-class person, customer because I'm quite sure that if the "commenda" arrived with a Rolex on his wrist, he would have been responded to in a more polite manner and the table would have been reserved for him as he wanted in the pleasant and fresh sea breeze of a beautiful summer evening at the tables outside... I would recommend more attention to these things also for the good of the aforementioned restaurant because a beautiful culinary experience can be ruined by this way of doing things like when I always asked this person if he would bring me the lemon for the mussels alla marinara, I've been going out to eat for 40 years since I was little with my dad and even as an adult with my family in millions of restaurants both fish and meat...I swear that no one has ever asked me why I put lemon on the mussels alla marinara and judged it because it's a shame that they are good like this, it may even be true but if to me I like them with lemon, that's my business, and bring me the lemon without making me choke, thanks!! And without having to explain my choice to you to have the beloved lemon that I like so much on fresh muscles!
03/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Cavallino. We come every year. You can also eat at the restaurant if you're not staying at the campsite. There's plenty of parking.

06/05/2026: The manor house is beautifully renovated and well-maintained. The room is large and the bathroom functional. Lunch is only offered on Sundays, so we couldn't try it. The Italian breakfast was excellent and exceptional. The grounds are very beautiful, spacious, and well-kept. The pool area is gorgeous, but unheated, as is typical in Italy. Excursions can be made by car; walks on the property were practically impossible due to busy roads without sidewalks.
Upon arrival, it was strange that our booking wasn't recognized. Only after presenting our booking confirmation was it identified. We didn't meet any of the owners.
22/12/2025: A magnificent agriturismo, a welcoming and meticulously maintained room, and a rich and authentic breakfast. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and they take every opportunity to make their guests feel pampered.

The owner is a delightful person who creates a convivial atmosphere that makes you feel at home; he'd stay and chat for hours.

18/10/2025: My husband and I enjoyed excellent quality dishes for lunch. The delicate sauces enhance the full flavor of the fish; there are no breadcrumbs, concentrated sauces, or strong spices: even the dessert made with stale bread is simple and elegant. 👏🏻
We also greatly appreciated the white linen placemats and cutlery holder. The staff who served us were very kind, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to all the staff and to the chef, who enlightened us about the history of the family trabocco, which inspired him to delight us with unique and refined dishes.

Eating by the sea at this trabocco is absolutely magical!

31/03/2026: Such a great place! Owned by a husband and wife for 42 years! No menus, ask them for something or the Nonna that waits tables will tell you what they have. Absolutely delicious homemade food, can't say enough about the lasagna and bolegnese sauce. We are going back for more before we leave! Don't miss it!!!

22/03/2026: How can this restaurant get 4.5 stars? In my opinion, the customers who wrote the reviews don't know what real food means! The ravioli are good, but the sauce leaves something to be desired (a sort of floury tomato, obviously out of season since it's March, thinly sliced, not even cooked, just left there without any sense). For the appetizer, a sort of rolled pancetta with plums inside, I'm sure. I obviously wasn't the only one who tasted it and left it on the plate. Not to mention the sauce for the children's pasta. A sauce cooked on the spot, maybe less than 10 minutes. The main course: Chitarra pasta with mushrooms, the only decent dish, perhaps, but I've had better. A poor six because I was hungry! The meat, well, sliced often, and in many dishes, mushy because the chef wasn't able to cut it, most likely! But one question: when dishes are returned to you, don't you ask yourself a few questions? No, to understand.

The place is warm and welcoming, so refined and with historic decorations that instill trust and a sense of home.
The owner and staff are truly professional, yet very human and friendly.
It's truly beautiful.
The quality of the food is exceptional.
The first courses are generous and plentiful, and the products, such as wine and oil, are made by local wineries and mills, or wherever the product geographically excels.
The meat is tenderness itself: fresh and expertly cooked.
The side dishes and desserts are excellent.
In short, what can I say? Everything is perfect.
Absolutely recommended!
