31/05/2025: The appetizers and first course were good, the fried food was disappointing We went to La Cucala to try the set menu, which includes a trio of appetizers, a first course and a second course of your choice with a side dish. I must say the gnocchi chosen as a first course were delicious, tasty and well cooked. Unfortunately, the second course disappointed me: I had the fried calamari, but it was frozen and not very pleasant. The calamari skewers were also not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. Overall, the experience was half-baked: a great start, but the second course lowered the level. With a little more attention to the quality of the fried food, it could be an excellent choice for eating fish.

10/05/2025: Flavors of the sea. A delight of flavours. Spaghetti with fresh clams of the day and a sublime appetizer. Absolutely worth returning to taste other seafood delights.

08/06/2025: Darei zero ma i camerieri hanno salvato la maleducazione del proprietario. Dopo aver sbagliato due volte l’ordinazione (invertendo gli ordini e portando i primi sbagliati) il proprietario ha avuto la delicatezza di venire al tavolo per incolparci dell’errore fatto dal cameriere (un ragazzo straniero a cui abbiamo ripetuto anche l’ordine due volte). L’errore si fa, non c’è problema. Ma venire a dire al tavolo che è colpa nostra proprio no (nell’incredulità del tavolo vicino) Semplicemente mai più.

03/06/2025: Ristorante semplice, sano e genuino. Che Iddio preservi questi luoghi, dove il cibo è ottimo, l'oste è cortese e i tempi sono consoni. In un'epoca di master chef, salse, intrugli, pseudo paravasocotture, ringraziando l'Onnipotente, alla Cantina dell'arrosticino si mangia come si deve, si esce soddisfatti e satolli e si gode del tempo trascorso. Massimo, il proprietario, è un uomo di esperienza, di tatto e di cuore. Un grazie infinto a lui, alla sua gentilezza e al sua professionalità. Tappa fissa ad Avezzano.

14/06/2025: The location is very good. Unfortunately, I could only try the fried calamari and cod because it was mid day, It was ok. I was given very stale bread, which stayed hard even after it soaked in olive for ten minutes. Too bad, if they looked after some small details that would not cost them much, they would get another star.

19/04/2025: 33rd anniversary dinner.... Pleasantly surprised, super professional owner, puts you at ease, advises you, pampers you. Excellent dishes, high quality raw materials. Offered: appetizer, coffee and bitters. Obligation to reciprocate with a small tip. I will indelibly remember the Vastese brodetto. 👏👏👏 We will definitely be back this summer.

19/04/2025: We found this restaurant a bit by chance, as we were passing through, but we were satisfied. The owner is very kind and attentive to issues such as pregnancies, intolerances, etc. We ate baked amberjack with potatoes, a mixed fry, a slice of tuna, water, coca cola and coffee. All for 64.70 euros.

07/04/2025: I've been to this place a couple of times; the last time with the family. I must say that we had a very good time; the environment is small but well organised; the staff were very welcoming, the food was good (I particularly appreciated the liver kebabs and the excellent beer they make); I would say early is right. Must try.

08/06/2025: Renovated and improved in everything...very kind staff, fast service, good focaccia and stuffed pizzas, tasty arrosticini that even if they are large are tender... the outdoor atmosphere is really suggestive and with the music it is also fun to spend time between one dish and another!! there is space for children to have fun too! fair prices!

24/05/2025: Chiedono una maggiorazione per il pagamento con POS. Al momento del pagamento mi è stato comunicato il conto di 6,60€ ma dopo aver richiesto di pagare con carta la cassiera ha battuto sul POS il conto di 6,72€ senza dire nulla. Non ci tornerò sicuramente

21/05/2025: Per iniziare la giornata in maniera strepitosa consiglio vivamente il bar pasticceria 99 tentazioni. I cornetti alla crema sono una favola, accompagnati da un ottimo cappuccino. Servizio eccellente. Ci tornerete ogni mattina.
