03/08/2025: Positive: The food came quickly and was delicious! Contrary: It would be more pleasant if the staff paid more attention to personal hygiene (sweat odor). The restaurant smelled very strongly of lemon cleaning products, as if they were trying to mask another odor.

27/07/2025: This was my first time trying this restaurant, located in the center of Albenga. Parking nearby was a challenge. Nice, clean place with several dining rooms. The staff is young and friendly. Service is quick, but a bit confusing when there are several people and all the dishes are served at once. The quality/price ratio is a bit high, in my opinion.

12/07/2025: Stopped by chance. In front of the restaurant, there's a nice, open space with plenty of parking, so no problems with parking. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. I think the chandeliers are beautiful. They give you a tablet to order so you can order independently. The dishes are slightly different from the usual ones we've found around, but they're still very good and flavorful. A nice discovery. Easy access for wheelchair users.

11/05/2025: I was there last week with some friends and colleagues and we spent a very quiet evening enjoying good dishes that we also chose at random, a bit of everything from raw to cooked to fried. The service is fast and very satisfying, nothing to say about it. We will definitely be back.

24/06/2025: We were here late at night, almost everything was closed, and Kura is open until 10:30 PM. Very fresh and tender fish, a large selection of dishes, fast and pleasant service. You are great, keep it up!

28/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, with some unusual dishes that are worth a visit. Excellent quality ingredients, perfectly balanced and expertly combined. For my taste, the soy sauce is a little too salty, requiring careful use. Personally, the only flaw was the Philadelphia salmon temaki: in its simplicity, the cream cheese was at the bottom of the cone, the salmon on top; you couldn't get both at once. A detail that is certainly overlooked elsewhere, but here it stands out in the extreme care taken in the preparation. The Mazara prawns wrapped in amberjack carpaccio are truly exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant, the service is kind and attentive. The price is reasonable for what's on offer.

17/07/2025: We booked and arrived at 7:30 PM. By 8:20 PM, we had nothing to eat on the table, much less the drinks we'd ordered for at least 20 minutes. When the tables next to us, with orders after ours, started eating, we left. The restaurant is overpriced and poorly cared for.

09/08/2025: Shabu is a restaurant where the welcome is exceptional. The staff is very welcoming. They tolerated my attempts to speak Italian and made the effort to speak to us in French. The food is simply exceptional, and the organization seems perfect. I think even Philippe Etchebest would be impressed. 🙂 I can only recommend this restaurant. It's worth the detour. Remember to make a reservation.

31/07/2025: It remains a sure thing!! Probably one of the best in town, both in terms of atmosphere and quality. The service is top-notch, prompt, and helpful. The dishes are carefully prepared and of excellent quality. Absolutely not to be missed.

08/08/2025: Excellent for two with wine, €70 for very high-quality Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend it.
