17/11/2025: I don't know how you can give 4 or 5 stars, but where do you eat in the school cafeteria? The service sucks. The waitress served me without even having my glasses on the table. I had to ask for them myself. She brought them to me and practically threw them on the table, one inside the other, as if I were at home and had to set the table myself. As for the food, it's awful, just like the service, and I've tried a bit of everything: the calamari tastes like rubber and has no flavor, and the shrimp, too. The salmon has a very strong rotten flavor, so much so that I left it there; even my fellow diners confirmed it stank. I love fish, and here it was a total waste. Obviously, I'll never go back.

13/10/2025: The food is well-presented but tastes like any other all-you-can-eat restaurant, but the price is exorbitant for being à la carte. The atmosphere is dark and '90s-style, nice but nothing that would suggest anything exclusive. The service is acceptable, but there's a clear language barrier and they're quite slow in bringing the dishes—half an hour for uramachi. There's ample parking, but watch out for potholes. Overall, €70 for 2 spaghetti, 8 uramachi, and 12 pieces of salmon sashimi seems excessive to me.

15/11/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for many years. It's definitely the best in Pinerolo and the surrounding area. It's nothing like the all-you-can-eat restaurants. The food here has a distinctive flavor. The grilled fish is very good. Good value. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

21/11/2025: Saturday evening. Very few people. The staff were welcoming, very kind, and above all, smiling. I ordered sushi. Nothing exceptional. The wait was minimal, so it was quick. I was neither disappointed nor satisfied. The only disappointing part, in my opinion, was the temaki because the rice seemed rubbery. The rest was good but fair. They could do better, because the place is undoubtedly large and spacious, and the owners are welcoming and very kind.

08/12/2025: Easy to find, close to the highway. Parking is barely adequate. Very busy, self-service with a meat, fish, vegetable, and sushi buffet. It's not always well-stocked, so you need to be patient as the dishes are cooking (they take about an hour to arrive). The quality of the ingredients isn't excellent, but they're well-cooked. Unfortunately, the cakes are frozen and inedible.

24/11/2025: I happened upon this place during a themed event. The atmosphere was lovely, but when I booked, my phone hung up on me several times. The loud music, however, was understandable given the event. (They could have specified this on the phone when booking.) The wait was long. The fish wasn't fresh; I was very disappointed. The scampi looked like they'd just come out of the freezer. They're not showing off at all. The service wasn't the best. The bill was high.

24/10/2025: Lighting is essential in a restaurant, and here it's hard to even read the menu. Atmosphere doesn't mean eating in the dark. €4.50 is excessive. The gyoza should be served larger: three are fine as an appetizer, or for those on a diet. The wines are expensive, and there's no wine list. Champagne or Franciacorta, or other fine wines, are advertised verbally. It's absolutely inappropriate to offer them without a price list, especially given the steep price increase. Service is sooooo slow. Too long a wait. Quality alone doesn't justify an exorbitant bill. We're in Asolo, okay. But the experience doesn't encourage frequent returns.

29/10/2025: I ordered takeout from Ristorante Zen and I have to say my experience was overall positive. The staff was courteous and the service was quite quick: I waited about a quarter of an hour, which was more than acceptable for a freshly prepared order. I had rice noodles with vegetables and Cantonese rice: both dishes were tasty and well-cooked, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. I spent a total of €8, or €4 per portion, a very reasonable price for the quality offered. One small point: I had to ask for the spicy sauce and was not provided with soy sauce, which is usually expected with this type of cuisine. Nothing serious, but a detail that could further improve the service. Overall, I approve of the experience: good food, fair prices, and quick service. Definitely a good place for those looking for a Chinese-Japanese option in the area, especially for takeout. Maybe I'll return.
