21/04/2025: Basho is a true gem. Over the years, we've returned several times, never disappointed. We have, however, noticed a significant improvement. From the moment we walked in to the bill, every detail is attended to with a passion and professionalism that is clearly evident. The place is welcoming, with a refined atmosphere, but the real added value lies in the people. Special thanks to Mattia's impeccable management, who knows how to combine expertise and customer service in a rare way. It's clear how much he cares, and that truly makes the difference. Kudos also to Giovanni, professional, friendly, and attentive: his service was simply perfect, always present but never intrusive, with a courtesy that deserves to be highlighted. The menu is refined, with the freshest ingredients. We will return every time we return to Cosenza.

08/05/2026: A real disappointment, inedible fish disguised with lemon to hide the smell and flavor. More than half the dishes ordered never arrived, but how can you do that?! We left after the third course and left them because we couldn't handle the acidic fish and lemon order. I've never seen anything like it!!

15/04/2026: I've always had a great time, the food is fresh, the waiters are fast and friendly. We'll be back again.

11/10/2025: We were there for the first time. The location was very well-kept and clean. The service was fast and the staff were kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back. The owners were kind and friendly. We highly recommend it. 😊

30/09/2025: Some orders are unfulfilled. The restaurant is crowded, probably because the kitchen is overwhelmed by the number of orders. It needs to be reconsidered, hoping it was just the wrong day.

06/06/2026: I've been a customer for many years and always come back. The staff is very kind and the food is always good. W Prezzemolo!

08/03/2026: I ordered two poke bowls for over €28, and honestly, we were blown away. For what we received, the price was completely unjustified; the ingredients inside were very poor, both in quantity and quality. Overall, a truly disappointing experience. Poor value for money. Never again.

02/01/2026: We went to this place with some friends for New Year's Eve and it was simply SHAMEFUL. The service was a standing buffet, and since I work in the events industry, I know that tables and chairs are provided to make guests feel comfortable. In this case, however, they let in more people than the place could hold, with very few tables and, most importantly, no place to store coats. We walked in and couldn't even get in the door, and when we asked for any kind of storage space, they told us it didn't exist. Of course, they make you pay before entering the place, so even if you wanted to leave, they wouldn't refund you. I found the entire management to be extremely dishonest; that's not how you work. Highly discouraged.

24/11/2025: I booked a table for 25 people at this restaurant a month before my birthday. When we arrived, I found a table for up to 15 people. I approached the manager, who replied, "This is a place where you partially stand and partially sit." I was disappointed, considering that many people remained standing for 40 minutes. People make sacrifices to organize a party with loved ones, and this inappropriate behavior really hurt my feelings. Only halfway through the evening did they extend my table because a couple next to me left. I hate to write a negative review, but I don't recommend this restaurant if you're planning an evening with more than 20 people.
