28/05/2025: An authentic Chinese experience in the heart of the city I was extremely satisfied with my experience at this Chinese restaurant. As soon as you enter, you can feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a decor that is designed down to the smallest details and recalls traditional oriental elegance. The menu is varied and well-structured, with dishes ranging from the most well-known specialties such as spring rolls and Cantonese rice, to more authentic and less common proposals, perfect for those who want to explore real Chinese cuisine. We ordered several courses to share: the homemade steamed dumplings were exceptional, soft and full of flavor; the Gong Bao chicken had a perfect balance between spiciness and sweetness, with crunchy peanuts and very tender meat. The steamed fish with ginger and spring onion also deserved a special mention: fresh, delicate, cooked with mastery.

28/05/2025: We had people from four countries at the table, Italy, the United States, France and China. It was rare that everyone was satisfied. The private room was still very good, and the dishes ordered in advance were also very impressive 👍

08/06/2025: Terrible Experience, Stay Away!!!! We came for the all-you-can-eat deal and were told everything on the menu was included. Turns out that was a lie. The waitress had a nasty attitude from the beginning. She brought our sushi out like she didn’t care at all – it was falling apart, badly made, no effort whatsoever. When we tried to order the more expensive items from the menu, they suddenly “didn’t have them” anymore — yeah, right. Clearly just didn’t want to serve them because they were pricey. Total scammy behavior. Then when we got the bill, they added the dessert as an extra charge. We said it should be included, and instead of handling it calmly, they started yelling at us. Literally raising their voices and being super aggressive, like we were trying to scam them or something. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. The whole vibe was like they didn’t want us there. Rude faces, bad service, and yelling at customers? No thanks. Food was mid at best. Not worth the money or the stress.

26/05/2025: This Chinese restaurant has been in Chiavari for a long time. It is possible to spend an evening in company, in an oriental context.

22/05/2025: I've only ever gotten take-out poke, the quality of the ingredients is high and the poke is imaginative and good, the staff is always kind on the phone and when picking it up.

25/05/2025: The price is good but thats not the only one we wanted. Sadly the stuff is very arrogant and unfriendly , thats why 1/5 stars the most. The place is to loud 😳 ppl screaming like they are on streets I saw a lot of peiple leaving food on their plates and i was the one who should pay for a little food that my kid left (just bcs I‘m a visitor pff).

14/01/2025: In giornata odierna, ho effettuato un ordine su Just Eat con consegna prevista intorno alle 13:50. Arrivata la notifica di consegna avvenuta ma non è stato consegnato nulla. Chiamando il locale e riscontrando la più totale scortesia dal responsabile di questo locale, ha rivolto le seguenti parole “abbiamo provato a chiamarla, ma non erano presenti fisicamente i raider” quindi forniscono un servizio mediocre, se non avessi chiamato io il proprietario e il locale si sarebbero intascati 37 e rotti di € come se nulla fosse. La mia voce non basterà, ma esorto vivamente a non usufruire del loro servizio

15/02/2025: Impeccable staff. Gessica was very kind, helpful and friendly. The dishes are different from the classic Italian all-you-can-eat sushi. The gunkan soy spicy tuna is excellent. Clean and informal environment, fast service. Highly recommended!

26/04/2025: Cena semplice e piacevole. Per l’hype riscosso dai social abbiamo trovato il locale semplice e accogliente. Abbiamo gustato dei ravioli molto buoni e Ramen in due versioni, entrambe buone. La carne presente nel piatto non ci è sembrata di alta qualità, un po’ troppo grassa e poco gustosa. Unica pecca da sottolineare i bagni del locale, non curati nella pulizia e nella presentazione. Prezzo adeguato all’esperienza.

11/05/2025: Every time we come to eat at Tao, which recently renovated the premises, it is an excellent time spent in a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can enjoy not only good quality sushi, but also excellent Chinese and Thai cuisine. If you want to spend a carefree and simple time enjoying good Asian food advise.
