28/03/2026: We returned to Kaori after the change of management. The welcome was immediately pleasant, and the atmosphere suited the setting, with just the right amount of lighting that didn't tire us out throughout the entire dinner.
We mostly love eating at the counter, and here we immediately met Thiago, a Brazilian-born chef with experience at various sushi restaurants, including Nobu Milano. Speaking with him, we immediately understood his passion for his work and his dedication to listening to his customers' needs. The right amount of dialogue and surprises the chef offers are crucial to the omasake experience, and in our case, we also share his love for citrusy, bolder flavors, unlike the current trend at most sushi restaurants, making the dishes extremely sweet with the magical soy sauce that covers everything. In short, the perfect blend of Oriental and local flavors that the Kaori staff manages to convey.

The wait times are minimal, and the service is always attentive and friendly.
