Very simple place but with very good food and always of intermediate quality, service always available and kind and also in the times they are strong. There is a great variety of dishes, I suggest trying gnocchi ebi and nighiri with shrimp

06/06/2025: The fried chicken was good, the pork dumplings were tasty too. But this was Chinese ramen and tasted weird. The boss's youngest son was walking around and yelling from time to time, which was annoying! Finally, the child threw an empty biscuit plastic bag into my face.

25/05/2025: Small shop but stocked with Made in Japan products that are hard to find in a physical store in Rome. In addition to dry foods, they also have fresh and frozen ones. Excellent selection of utensils for preparation and table. Very welcoming and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to shop with you and chat about Japan. I recommend.

26/05/2025: Dopo una bellissima giornata in giro per Milano, andiamo a cena in questo tipico ristorante giapponese e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Il titolare persona carismatica e simpatica, praticamente abbiamo passato una serata insieme a lui a chiacchierare di cibo, vino e altro perché eravamo solo noi nel ristorante, esperienza molto piacevole. Michele ci ha spiegato la filosofia del locale e della cucina, l'essere il più vicino alla vera cucina giapponese, bypassando tutte le mode anche a costo di rinunciare a qualche cliente. Il menù degustazione che abbiamo provato è stato veramente ottimo, ci è piaciuto tutto, piatti abbondanti, saporiti e gustosi, il pesce è freschissimo, qualità altissima.

26/05/2025: Authentic Japan, with character In a world of all-you-can-eat sushi and passing fads, this restaurant is a real gem. Here you can breathe in the real Japan, the one made of authentic flavors, respect for raw materials and attention to detail. The menu is well-curated, never banal: each dish is prepared with technique, passion and a pinch of personality that makes the experience unique. And speaking of personality... it's impossible not to mention the owner: eccentric, direct, perhaps a little over the top - but incredibly passionate. His love for Japanese cuisine can be felt in every word and in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. It's one of those places where you don't just come to eat, but to live an experience. Recommended for those looking for authenticity, quality and who aren't afraid of meeting a restaurateur with a lot, a lot of character.

18/04/2025: The first challenge with Zushi is already writing it. Try it: WhatsApp, Telegram or any well-intentioned keyboard will turn it into "Sushi", as part of a conspiracy by the restaurants of the Rising Sun. And yet it is one of the best-known and most stylized gastronomic realities in the city. It's incredible how the new generation immediately recognizes quality (I'm talking about my daughters): you can't fool them with other sushi. Just one look at those perfect nigiri, at the sashimi arranged like in a Zen anatomy table, and at the dishes that seem to pass an ISO 21621 style quality control (it really exists!) to understand that every detail counts here. I suspect that between the kitchen and the dining room there is a secret room where each dish is scanned, x-rayed and, if it fails the test... it is incinerated together with the chef. Also because it seems that the kitchen staff changes as quickly as a Korean television production: creative turnover or ritual sacrifice? Nobody knows. The result, however, is always exceptional. The only slight flaw: the yaki udon with beef and shiitake mushrooms (that's how it's written, if my memory serves me right). But I suspect it's a karmic trap for anyone who dares to order a hot, soupy, beef dish at a place called Zushi. Come on, the message is clear: 'There are no Lubianske, you're here for the fish. Raw!' So yes, Zushi is more than sushi. It's a style. Corporate. And if the automatic corrector doesn't get there, the palate and the eyes do.

01/06/2025: A beautiful experience, we went with our Japanese teacher who introduced us to the Japanese owner, very kind and helpful. We took the fixed lunch menus, excellent quality and adequate quantity. Fast and accurate table service. Brilliant Kirin draft beer in the thermal mug, frozen from start to finish. High prices but it is not an all you can eat, it is Japanese cuisine + service. There is also the sushi area on the conveyor belt but we did not try it, having opted for a table.

22/05/2025: Excellent restaurant, very fresh fish and a wide variety on the belt. The prices are high because the quality is high, but despite this I found them a bit excessive.

08/06/2025: A very pleasant surprise; we ate very well. The all-you-can-eat menu offers a very wide selection and, above all, quality, considering the attractive price. The fish is fresh and everything is delicious. Orders placed directly from your phone, followed by fast and efficient service, both for delivery and clearing. A very good place.

31/05/2025: One of the best Japanese-style restaurants in the city. A la carte or all-you-can eat service at the table, always friendly and quick (it obviously depends a lot on how crowded the place is). It is useful to order on your smartphone via webapp after connecting to wifi. The variety of choices on the list is very wide, both as sushi (sashimi, futomaki, uramaki, nigiri, ...) and as dishes with a perhaps less oriental flavor (tonkatsu, yakisake, tartare, tempura, ...). Tables well spaced between them and there is also an external dehor.

19/02/2025: Ate here last summer, forgot to review but I would highly recommend, the chef/owner was very welcoming and prepared each plate for us at while we sat at the counter. Sushi was excellent.. hope to return next time we’re in Brindisi.

28/05/2025: Since there are few à la carte restaurants in the area We were curious and by hearsay we wanted to try So for lunch at midday We noticed that: *Strengths*: the maniacal attention to plating is immediately striking, with generous portions and presented as small works of art, balanced between colors and geometries. The environment is elegant and simple, with attention to detail: soft lighting, wooden decorations create a relaxed atmosphere. The gesture of the hot towel at the beginning is excellent, a touch that, although it seems banal, makes the difference in feeling cared for. The **friendly service** completes the experience, with smiling and helpful staff. *Weaknesses*: The **wait** between one course and another is often exaggerated, even when the place is not full. The **menu-bearing knights** leave a flaw in cleanliness, an unpleasant detail at the table. The **QR code** system to view the digital menu is convenient, but it becomes inconvenient not to be able to order directly from there, forcing you to wait for the waiter to confirm. Furthermore, despite the impeccable aesthetics of the dishes, the **flavor** does not take off compared to a normal *all you can eat*, leaving some disappointment on the quality-price ratio. Finally, the **toilet door** without internal locking is an embarrassing lack of privacy. *In summary*: A place that focuses on aesthetics and courteous service, ideal for an *instagrammable* dinner, but with some organizational and substantial flaws that should be reviewed to fully justify the price.

22/04/2025: The food was all good, the service very fast, the price in line with other restaurants of the kind... but it is the menu that is the real plus, as it features dishes that are not usually found in all-you-can-eat restaurants. Advised
