We stopped there yesterday during our stroll through Trieste and had a tasting platter with ham, salami, and cheese, along with some wine. The food was fantastic, and the service staff were incredibly nice and friendly. Definitely stop by next time you're in Trieste!

A lovely find—service were extremely lovely and knowledgeable about the produce and wine selection, friendly and willing to converse. We ordered a platter to share for two, (was more than enough) lots of local meats and cheeses, and delicious white wine—we even bought two bottles to take home with us. Definitely recommend.

In the Italian delicatessen with bistro, it's worth highlighting that you get a small appetizer served with your drink; the sausage and cheese platter was also very tasty.

09/07/2026: The first courses were delicious and plentiful. It was a wonderful experience, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Unexpected and highly recommended.
05/07/2026: Excellent traditional restaurant. Good, well-cooked food. During peak times, you may have to be a little patient. But the quantity and quality make up for it. I recommend it.

Pizze Pazze

13/07/2026: The pizza was very tasty. We left full and still had some leftover. The staff was very friendly and even made us a small snack for Coke. Furthermore, the pizza, hot straight from the oven, was ready very quickly. It's probably for takeout, as there's very little space inside and no plates (the pizza was served on pizza boxes), but the flavor and generous amount of cheese made up for it. There's free parking nearby, literally a 5-minute walk away.
