27/02/2025: Typical tavern of the Friulian villages where you go to drink in the evening. The management "invents" tasting evenings but the service is poor. The chef must be a magician. It has a good palate but not to be defined as a restaurant.

08/08/2025: Very good place for coffee or a quick/easy lunch. They served coffee, beer and drinks. Very good quality of service and overall a good experience. The only thing I could complain about is the toilets which were hard to lock and were located in an unusual place.

06/08/2025: €5 for a white spritz? A historic and excellent pastry shop in Trieste, with a long tradition and quality products. However, it's a shame to see how the influence of tourism has led to unaffordable prices for residents: €5 for a white spritz is truly excessive. With these prices, many Triestini will prefer to have an aperitivo elsewhere.

16/08/2025: NOTICE FOR THOSE VISITING AGRITURISMO RANDIS IN ARTA TERME WITH CHILDREN AND ANIMALS On the first day of vacation, my husband, my sister, and our little dog, Jack, went to Randis. At the entrance to the estate, two Weimaraner dogs were roaming free. Thinking there was no danger, we continued toward the restaurant. Suddenly, one of them, the male, came up behind my husband and attempted to grab our dog, injuring both my husband's elbow and our little Jack's paw. If this had happened to a child or a small person, the consequences could have been very serious. Our vacation was ruined, and we feared for our dog's life. I'm sharing this to prevent this from happening to others.

03/07/2025: I stayed at the Ai Gelsi hotel for one night. The structure is not too pretentious, but the rooms are clean and overall tidy. The shower and hairdryer were quite dated and not very functional. The staff at the reception were very kind, polite and professional, a good point in their favour. The hotel restaurant offers good food, but unfortunately the service was disappointing: the waiters were slow and distracted, I had to wait a long time both to sit down and to order.

30/06/2025: from the photos I expected much better. honest price and friendly staff, but very dated structure. good cleaning. breakfast rather squalid, not worth the extra.

16/07/2025: We were very disappointed with this restaurant. We came as a family—one of us is vegetarian—and we politely asked if it was possible to order the set menu for two and, for the vegetarian, choose something à la carte (since there were very few vegetarian options). The response was surprisingly rude: we were told we had to sit at separate tables if we wanted to order something else. We explained that we were a family and simply wanted to eat together, but the waitress responded coldly and curtly, then turned and left without offering any alternatives. Any internal rule of a restaurant can be communicated respectfully, if they truly care about their customers and the reviews they leave. It would have been enough to say, for example, "I'm sorry, I understand that you're a family, but unfortunately we have these rules. I hope you understand." A little politeness would have been enough to find a solution. Instead, we had a very negative experience: terrible service, a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. That evening, there were only two tables occupied—the place seemed deserted and devoid of energy. We left without even trying the food. I don't recommend it at all.

We explained we were a family and simply wanted to dine together, but the waitress answered coldly and rigidly, then turned around and walked away without offering any alternative. Any rule can be communicated with respect, especially if you care about your customers and the image of your restaurant. Something like: "I'm sorry, I understand your situation, but unfortunately we have this policy" would’ve been enough. A little kindness would have made all the difference. The place itself was another disappointment: the room was dark and gloomy, nothing like the bright, cozy photos shown online. The restaurant is hidden in a shadowy side street near the main square — not welcoming at all. And the waitress… instead of greeting us, she walked around as if annoyed by our very presence, almost irritated that tourists dared to enter. There were barely any locals — a red flag in itself. We left without even trying the food. Extremely negative experience. We won’t return and cannot recommend it.

18/05/2025: Una bella azienda agricola a Pavia di Udine dove si mangia prodotti tipici friulani quasi tutti fatti da loro (visto che hanno anche le stalle) . Fanno anche gelati di propria produzione da provare assolutamente visto che il latte lo fanno loro! Parcheggio ampissimo ma a volte si fa fatica a trovare posto perché è sempre tutto pieno. Prezzi in linea con altri posti simili… consigliato!

17/07/2025: I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on multiple fronts. Despite there being plenty of space available inside, I was asked to wait outside while my food was being prepared. This came across as unwelcoming and unnecessary, especially considering the weather conditions and the lack of clear reasoning. As a paying customer, basic courtesy and hospitality should be a given — sadly, that was lacking here. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The taste didn’t match the description or the hype, and nothing really stood out. For the price and presentation, I expected more in terms of flavor and overall quality. When I asked them for their recommendations they said go out and see the menu!! (I could not read Italian) Also I was charged 3.5 euro for a can of cola😳! and I was told if I want to drink it go outside to drink, can’t drink it inside🤷🏻‍♂️ Overall, the lack of respect shown in customer service and the average food make it difficult for me to recommend this place or consider returning. Hospitality matters just as much as what’s on the plate — and here, both were disappointing.

15/07/2025: The service was terribly noisy and chaotic. We waited over an hour for our food, they forgot about us. Although they apologized, it's hard to doubt their sincerity. The food was good, but after that wait we lost our appetite. In addition, the prices were higher, it was not stated anywhere that they also charge for a cover. I do not recommend

30/03/2025: We stopped at "I'll bring you". I must say that the quality-price ratio is also good. For €25 there are three courses (starter, first course and second course) with refined and good dishes. I would only point out a lack of fairness towards the consumer: if a person eats 1 or 2 courses out of 3 they still have to pay for the €25 menu. This is a bit like what happened to me, I ordered an appetizer (which is part of the menu) and mixed fried food (off the menu) and we had to pay for the appetizer as if it were a complete menu plus fried food. I can understand that it is the policy of the place, but the consumer should still be warned, also because it is not intuitive and it has never happened to me in all the other places with fixed menus. All in all it's a nice place, I would go back, but more clarity is needed.
