21/12/2025: I've eaten there three times, coming from Bologna specifically because, believe me, it's worth the trip: top-quality seafood, a warm and friendly welcome, detailed descriptions of the dishes, and impeccable service. The ravioli with fish sauce are a simple yet irresistible first course; the tuna tartare is incredibly fresh; the lasagna is sublime; the stew with prawns and shrimp (accompanied by double polenta) is a delightful surprise. Even though it's always busy, you can still converse without raising your voice. Parking is available in front of the restaurant or nearby, always free. A must-try!

22/02/2026: We were here on Valentine's Day evening. It's a beautiful, welcoming place with an intimate atmosphere. The staff who served us were knowledgeable and courteous. The food was good, but unfortunately the entrees arrived lukewarm, probably because it was so crowded. The price was fair (the website isn't up to date, though).

28/02/2026: The atmosphere is very pleasant and well-maintained. The seafood is delicious, and is showcased in both the simple dishes and the starters and mixed fried fish. A solid choice for a seafood lunch or dinner.

09/03/2026: I'm originally from Emilia-Romagna, but I've lived outside the region for many years. I decided to be a tourist in my own homeland. At the La Rocca Hotel, I found the sense of family I'd been longing for. I arrived a little late, but the kitchen was open. Since I was very tired and didn't want to eat much, the kitchen prepared an excellent vegetable dish and a hot potage for me, and traditional tagliatelle for a friend: the ingredients were extraordinary. The village is beautiful, and thanks to the key card, I was able to take a stroll after closing time. Even from my panoramic room, I could see the illuminated clock tower. The panoramic terrace is a dream. The La Rocca family welcomes you like no large hotel chain ever could, maintaining professionalism, elegance, and an exceptional attention to detail.

18/01/2026: The flavors and dishes are good and well-prepared. The service could be improved. If you serve multiple sauces, it's better to use a teaspoon for each. If they ask for the bill, bringing it to the table is better. Anyway, it's worth a try.

05/01/2026: We went for lunch after the civil ceremony and it was an excellent choice. The vegetarian menu was spectacular, with original and flavorful dishes. The service was impeccable; they were very friendly and attentive at all times. A beautiful place for a special occasion. Highly recommended.

08/02/2026: Breakfast was very poor. I expected tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens. There was no fruit except for apples. Only two types of cheese are insufficient for a 4-star hotel. The bread was all the same, dry and hard. The bakery section should have had a wider variety. They bring the coffee themselves, and you have to wait a while in the middle of breakfast. The rooms, however, were clean and tidy.

05/02/2026: Historic hotel in the historic center of Lugo in a logistically perfect location. Large, bright rooms, the white color triumphs. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a modern and usable shower. Well heated. On the other hand, the rooms are a bit cold. The temperature is not manageable by the user. At night, the corridor light is always on and filters from under the door. Sensors and LEDs illuminate the room too much. The kettle and coffee machine in the room lose the fifth star for some small things that could be improved. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. I would go back.

08/02/2026: I was invited to a ceremony at this fantastic restaurant. I found the welcome impeccable, and the waiters were particularly attentive to every need. High-quality food, fine wines, and beers await you. I recommend a visit if you're passing through the lower Romagna region.

16/01/2026: A small café in the center of Lugo that's definitely worth a visit. The owners are wonderful, and they have a wide selection of coffees, all of which are worth trying. The place is very beautiful and welcoming.

04/01/2026: The pizza dough is truly excellent. Light and fragrant. The toppings are varied, plentiful, and there's something for everyone. The offer of three slices and a drink, including beer, for €5.50 is very tempting. I recommend it in Cervia.

02/01/2026: Even when it's crowded, they're always super friendly, and the pizza by the slice is really good. Lots of vegetarian options, and a few vegan options (red, marinara). It's nice to have a place where you can grab a quick slice of pizza, even if you're on a specific diet. The dough is excellent, and it's always reheated to perfection. The girls at the counter, especially the foreigner, are always super nice, even with the most annoying people.
