It's been years since we've been to this renowned restaurant. We returned for a birthday. It was packed, and if you don't book, you can't eat. Overall, we enjoyed the crostini and grilled meat. Only the grilled vegetables left something to be desired. For 7 euros, a slice of raw eggplant the size of a finger and a bitter radicchio seems excessive. The mushrooms, however, were good. I would have expected a pepper, a zucchini... Oh well, next time I'll have them take it back.

A very refined trattoria. Traditional cuisine masterfully executed thanks to the use of high-quality ingredients. The service is courteous and fast. I love the idea of the trumpet blasts signaling the arrival of the birthday cake. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but never to the point of being annoying. The frescoes on the walls depicting rural scenes are also beautiful, evoking a distinct Romagna feel.
The price is perhaps a little high, but I must say it's compensated by dishes with truly unforgettable flavors. I particularly recommend the curzul with mutton ragù, the cacciatore-style potatoes, the roasts, and the desserts. Reservations recommended.

We found this place almost by chance near Faenza, and it's definitely worth the trip a few kilometers from the center. The atmosphere is warm and peaceful, and the frescoed walls and columns with landscapes and other subjects are very pretty.
But let's get to the most important thing: the food.
We ordered a first course (very good pumpkin tortellacci) and, the main course of the meal, the mutton, which, I must say, was absolutely top-notch. We finished with a dessert that was also excellent.
In conclusion, if we were to return to Faenza, I definitely think it deserves a second visit (and more...).
The service could be improved, but nothing to complain about.

An old-fashioned trattoria where friendliness, service and typical Romagna dishes reign supreme. Delicious soups and first courses include sublime grilled pigeon and guinea fowl, and finally delicious desserts accompanied by a delicious passito wine... the bill is reasonable for the quality offered. Well done!

We ordered "curzul allo scalogno" (scallions), followed by vegetables, cardoon with béchamel sauce, and stuffed artichokes. Tasty and authentic flavors. Local Centesino wine.
Excellent value.

One of the last true trattorias in Romagna. Extensive menu, including fish on Fridays. Informal but impeccable service. The wine list is also good. Reasonable prices.
