02/01/2026: We tried this lovely place for the first time and had a great time. The dishes were well-prepared, tasty, and flavorful, and the service was excellent, making our evening a truly enjoyable one. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: Located on the SP4 highway, either entering or leaving Castel'Arquato, depending on which side you're coming from, next to the IperCONAD shopping center, is Le Torri. It's a great restaurant to stop for a bite, with generous portions. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant with background music that isn't intrusive. They offer a variety of dishes and are affordable, even for those looking for a set lunch menu. I was traveling through Italy, and thankfully, I found a restaurant that met my expectations (even though I wasn't very familiar with the local options), and I left happy and full from the abundant food. Just be aware that it can get a bit crowded on weekdays and during lunchtimes; that's because the food is so affordable and delicious. Local workers often choose to have lunch here.

So, even though it was their mistake, I have to send an email with all my details and a screenshot of the app, and maybe one day I'll get my money back. I repeat, I didn't get anything I ordered.

10/12/2025: Gluten free pizza is based on a pre-fabricated crust that is think, has no crunch and tastes like a cracker. House Wine was mediocre and the Cafe Coretto Sambuca had very little taste of sambuca. Ambiance resembles a hospital. Won’t come back.

10/01/2026: Tried it by chance after seeing a post on Facebook. What can I say... If you want to enjoy a lunch (or dinner) surrounded by nature, authentic flavors, and the fresh mountain air, the "Al Bacchanalis" farmhouse is just right for you! The typical Piacenza dishes (like pisarei or lean ravioli), the homemade pasta, the DOP cured meat platter, the artisanal desserts, and the wines are excellent. The staff was incredibly kind. My only regret was that a place like this was not very crowded (which can be a good thing in some cases!). It's definitely worth considering. Thank you ❤️

09/01/2026: Beautiful agriturismo: very simple and elegant furnishings, with clean lines. Spotlessly clean and everything new. Compliments on the food, mouth-watering! The braised beef was superb, as were the gnocco fritto and tortelli! We'll be back!

08/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Restaurant in Castel San Giovanni, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant offers a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an evening of fine Japanese cuisine. The menu is rich and varied, with a wide selection of traditional dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The sushi, in particular, was exceptional: incredibly fresh and expertly prepared fish, with meticulous attention to detail. Even the hot dishes, such as ramen and tempura, lived up to expectations, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The staff was courteous and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. Furthermore, the wait times were short, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The only flaw, if I may say so, were the slightly overly generous portions, which might be too much for those with a more moderate appetite. However, this detail did not negatively impact the overall experience, which remained extremely positive. In short, Tokyo Restaurant is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy Japanese cuisine in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try other dishes from their interesting menu!

02/11/2025: A surprise set menu; you don't know what you're going to eat. There were 8 or 9 courses. Everything was delicious, with just the right amount of spices and no fusion cuisine. We stumbled upon it by chance and were so glad we did. If you can afford a little more, this place won't disappoint. Oh! And the bread they save for you to take home is extraordinary.
