Bar San Marco In Piacenza

The bar is welcoming, tidy, and clean, and also features a decent-sized outdoor seating area. For breakfast, there's a wide selection of always-fresh, excellent baked goods. You can also grab a quick lunch, choosing from sandwiches and focaccias, or a selection of first and second courses from a modest but excellent menu. I've personally tried practically everything and have always been satisfied. I haven't had a chance to try the aperitivo yet, but it looks promising. The lovely, polite, and friendly staff offer attentive and impeccable service. I go there often because it's always nice to be greeted with a smile. The only downside is the small bathroom, which could use some maintenance.

The quality has dropped a bit overall.

Excellent café for breakfast and aperitifs. One of the few Chinese-run cafés offering a good selection of pastries and good coffee. The new management offers faster and better service than before.
