07/06/2026: Crazy! Around 11:30 PM on a Saturday night, an hour and a half before closing time, we arrived to order two piadinas. I ordered mine, and it's well known that there's a pile of garbage on the kitchen floor. I mentioned this because, honestly, it disgusts me that the piadina is being made while the floor is being swept, given that the dust flies, and I'm not paying €10 for a piadina to eat dust. The person who should be responsible, in theory, tries to justify himself. I politely ask if they can at least wear gloves to make my piadina, since at this point it disgusts me. He replies that gloves aren't hygienic. However, my colleague was wearing gloves, and he was wearing a ring, so having worked in catering, I reply that the ring is worse. Honestly, watching him knead the dough with the ring really disgusted me. After this, the manager gets annoyed. He shows her washing her hands with sanitizer, which she finishes sweeping off the floor while they're making my piadina. He completely loses control of the situation, so much so that my friend hadn't even placed her order yet. I politely ask if my friend can order. We finally manage, and after over twenty minutes, we finally get our piadinas, both of us quite disgusted. I point out that all that time to make two piadinas, given that we were practically the only customers, seems mind-blowing. I eat my piadina with disgust and even get a stomachache. I don't know how a place like this stays open; I'll report it to the NAS (Nas). I should start by saying that I'm a regular at the piadina shop on Via Colombo, and the attention to detail and quality are superb—nothing like the dump on Via Martiri, where every visit is worse than the last.

09/06/2026: Mixed grill for one person: same price for several years, BUT the amount of meat on the plate has been progressively and inexorably reduced over the years. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the grilled dish I ordered, but there's a HUGE difference in the amount of meat between the image on the menu and what actually arrives. Granted, if you look for the asterisk with the small print, you'll see that "the image is for illustrative purposes only..." but it's still a confusing marketing strategy. I would have appreciated a more "frontal" marketing strategy from Roadhouse, where the rising costs of raw materials, energy, transportation, etc. were accompanied by a price increase to guarantee and confirm Quantity and Quality: it could have become a slogan that strengthened the brand. Consumers would have felt "treated with respect" and would have continued to go to Roadhouse, perhaps less frequently but regularly. With this choice, however, which is certainly not "unfair" from a "contractual" point of view but not crystal clear from a practical point of view, the consumer feels dissatisfied precisely when he receives the long-awaited dish and... simply... never comes back.

22/02/2026: A homey trattoria in a small hamlet surrounded by fields, where you can enjoy excellent traditional Piacenza dishes. Fresh and delicious cured meats, Gorgonzola 🔝, roasted quail, and duck. The staff and owner are very friendly.

24/05/2026: The atmosphere is simple, spartan, and clean. The service is kind and courteous. Food: there's only one appetizer: cheeses and cured meats, and an excellent sauce. But at least one alternative, like a vegetable tart, could be a good idea... The lemon tortelli are good, the tagliata is good, but the potatoes could be improved. The desserts.... The parfaits definitely need to be revisited! The chef is young, so I hope to return and find improvements everywhere, both in the atmosphere and the food... all in all, a thumbs up.

17/04/2026: A traditional trattoria, albeit run by a very young chef. The atmosphere is quiet, the rooms clean and tidy, the service friendly and professional, the dishes are traditional Piacenza dishes (the lemon tortelli are excellent and original, the pisarei are very good), and the sparkling Gutturnio is excellent. Prices are truly reasonable: the three of us ordered three generous appetizers of excellent cured meats and cheeses, three first courses, three second courses, three desserts (the apple tart was delicious), two large bottles of mineral water (not still water), plus coffee and an after-dinner drink, kindly offered by the owner, for a total of less than €40 per person. Recommended for both the food and the kindness and treatment we received, as well as for the price.

07/12/2025: Welcoming place. Kind and polite people. The food is delicious. Lots of choices on the menu, lots of types of cheese.... I'll be back as soon as I can.

20/08/2025: I went to Gastronomia 00 with high hopes, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food was rather subpar: stale bread and pizza, bland-tasting brioche, no desserts, seemingly mediocre-quality hams... and overall, the food was more reminiscent of a school cafeteria than a refined deli. The atmosphere, too, seems stuck in the '70s, and not in the nostalgic sense of the word. Dated furnishings and an atmosphere reminiscent of the past, but without that vintage charm that makes you say, "How lovely."

19/03/2026: Terrible kebab, I have never tasted a kebab like that in my entire life and I have traveled a lot, poor products and poor quality, send for a check because it is not possible to see and get food poisoning, it is a restaurant where they can not even give you the correct change (I ate twice to understand if it was really the kebab or if I am the kebab instead since we ate in 2 people and we do not have a sensitive stomach).

09/01/2026: Luckily, I discovered this wine shop. Compared to other wine shops and wine bars in Piacenza, I can say without a doubt that it's the best. I'd say Andrea is the ultimate local wine expert. I particularly appreciated his endless knowledge of France and Northern Italy. It's clear he has a passion to spare. As for the wine shop, it's become my go-to wine shop. The selection is vast and includes both famous and renowned labels as well as high-quality niche labels. I've personally purchased both premium and standard bottles: the prices are very competitive, comparable to what you'd find online. As for the wine bar, I highly recommend this place for short aperitifs/aperitif dinners (the place closes at 10 pm). The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a leisurely tasting. Excellent service, complete with explanations of the wines and their origins. As for the food, I highly recommend the Fassona tartare, Culatello, and Vitello tonnato: excellent quality ingredients, superb preparation, and market-leading prices. The only advice I can offer for now, considering myself only an amateur wine enthusiast, is to explore the already excellent selection of Super Tuscan wines (I realize these aren't wines for everyday use 😁). That said, kudos to Andrea for continuing to offer a gem in Piacenza!

20/11/2025: The location is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. The dishes are well-prepared and the portions are generous. I highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: A restaurant with large seating in multiple rooms. The food is good and high-quality. There's a wide selection of wines. The service is efficient, fast, and well-organized. There's ample outdoor parking. The vaulted rooms are located inside the farmhouse and are clean and well-maintained. It's a very busy place; reservations are recommended. The only flaw for giving it 3 stars: the noise inside when there are several people is really loud and annoying, making it difficult to even talk at your own table. High prices.

25/01/2026: They're finally back! We wanted to eat only pinsa (delicious), but we were tempted by a taste of Apulian bombette... What can I say... a real treat. Well done, well done, well done!!!
