23/03/2026: We chose Osteria Da Nando for our wedding lunch, which took place on March 21, 2026. What can I say...Exceptional cuisine, a warm welcome and attention to detail, collaboration, and so much patience. Every time a guest needed information, they were there. Two and three traditional dishes, which we chose together and which we found even better than we'd heard. A huge thank you again to all the staff, especially the Chef (who was wonderful): we had fun, we had to unbutton our shirts, and, above all, we'll always have wonderful memories of this day. 07/04/2026: Went for a business lunch: the food was good, the portions were generous, and we left satisfied. The bill, however, was a bit higher than average. The lunch menu costs €18, but it should be noted that the price includes water, Coke, and other beverages, which isn't a given. Typically, business lunches cost around €12, so the difference is noticeable, even though the quality is there.

04/05/2026: I went to Villa Costanza for a sports lunch with my boys (Villafranca di Verona Calcio) and found everything to be flawlessly professional from the very first moment. There were 30 of us, including staff and players, for lunch. We ate top-notch food and the service was impeccable. The owner is a wonderful person, the staff is extremely kind and available to meet any needs. The facility is beautiful and perfect for a short break between lunch and the start of the match, as it has a summer park and, if it were winter, a hotel and various places to spend the break. It was a pleasant experience and I highly recommend it.

11/03/2026: I went to this bar with a friend during my lunch break, which unfortunately only lasts 20 minutes, and the experience was truly awful. The wait was very long, definitely incompatible with such a short break. Furthermore, the staff was not at all friendly: their attitude was rather unpleasant and it almost felt like we had to rush through everything, without the slightest attention to the customers. Not to mention the sandwich: very small, with very little filling, and not even very good quality. Overall, the food was really poor. Considering the rather high price for what we ate, the value for money was very disappointing. In the end, due to the extremely long wait and the small portions, the experience was truly awful. We won't be returning.

18/02/2026: The sandwiches are really delicious! The place is beautiful and welcoming, and the girls are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it; I go back as often as I can, and it's always worth it!

25/03/2026: An old-fashioned trattoria, just like it used to be. When you arrive, there's already a portion of cured meats and pickled vegetables on the table, and a bottle of sparkling wine already opened, ready to be drunk! So even if you don't want them, like me who has to avoid them, they're already there, and you can eat a little! Then we had two ricotta and spinach tortelli, which here are made in upright squares, flavorful, with a lovely garlicky mushroom sauce. Unfortunately, there was only one rib for the main course; we ordered that and a boiled meat dish, which unfortunately only had stuffing and beef, fries, and a salad that arrived already dressed. Everything was good, but both the tortelli and the main course arrived barely warm. For dessert, two slices of tart and two slices of carrot cake arrived, both good. Coffee and nocino/bargnolino liqueur, €50.00 for two.

15/12/2025: A truly authentic trattoria, embodying the spirit of welcoming and feeding people (and not making money). Honest cuisine, authentic flavors, and an authentic atmosphere. Worth preserving.

18/10/2025: A simple and authentic farmhouse nestled in the greenery of the Val d'Arda. It's easy to find, even if the maps aren't very accurate. Excellent traditional dishes and wine at bargain prices. The owner is friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone visiting the area, even just for sightseeing. Highly recommended!

18/09/2025: A "simple" yet surprising agriturismo! The remote location may already be charming, but the food is decidedly like grandma's Piacenza cooking—in a good way! The tortelli immediately took first place in my personal (and 40-year-old) ranking of restaurants in the valleys. The owners are friendly and kind.

10/07/2025: Eine einfache Trattoria im guten Sinn. Wer sich für die typische Küche der Region interessiert und nicht auf Pizza oder Spaghetti bolognese fixiert ist, kann hier interessante Erfahrungen machen. Sehr guter Schinken, gute Salami, ganz schlicht auf einem Papier dargeboten und dazu Gnocco fritto, frittierte, luftig aufgeblähte Teiglinge als Beilage, sehr lecker - daran könnte man sich bei kleinem Hunger satt essen. Als zweites hatten wir auch ein typisches Gericht der Region, dessen Namen ich mir leider nicht notiert habe. Es war einfach, lecker und sättigend.

04/07/2025: Invitato a pranzo da colleghi ho trovato questa osteria molto "genuina" in tutti i suoi aspetti, in primis i gestori e personale molto attenti ai clienti, gentili ed ospitali. La cucina anch'essa fatta di ottime materie prime locali; ho assaggiato un ottimo gnocco fritto con salumi e formaggi e poi buoni i ravioli proposti con diversi condimenti. Location molto tipica

10/05/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, searching Google Maps for a place to dine while visiting a relative in Piacenza. The photos and reviews piqued our curiosity... but the reality was even better. The place is simple, almost spartan, but impeccably clean and the staff are truly attentive, present without being intrusive. We had gnocco fritto with a charcuterie board, beef tartare, roulade, and a slice of beef: everything was truly excellent. The gnocco fritto was incredibly light, dry, and not at all greasy, and anyone from Emilia knows that there, you can immediately tell the difference between "good" and "well-made." Quality charcuterie and incredibly tender meat. In the end, we were so satisfied that we even bought groceries to take home. And perhaps this is the most honest review one can give: when you leave a place and want to take a piece of it home.

14/11/2025: The roaring fireplace made dinner even more satisfying. "Thursday Bortellina" and so it was: I'd never eaten it before, exquisite pizza dough made with flour and fermented water, strictly fried! A delicacy, accompanied by local cured meats and typical cheeses... not to be missed. The owner/cook was extremely courteous and friendly, the trattoria is family-run... we were very satisfied. The perfect dinner for those who love simple, authentic flavors.
